I blame PC police for my tow, they had random parade on a Tuesday evening, said signs were posted, but I checked on 2 separate occasions to be sure, because I am not local and had a tattoo session scheduled most of the day and did not see any signs.The guy at Garretts was rude, I called around 8 at night and was told I couldnt pick it up until 8 the next morning. They charged for 2 days of storage but the vehicle was there for just over 12 hours. I dont understand how businesses are able to swindle honest people.

Someone stole my phone out of the car while it was in the impound

He got there quick, knew he was doing. They got out and handle heavy traffic. One loaded my truck and the other directing traffic got another quick no problem dropped it in town. I cant remember his name though the driver famous really awesome.

They was supposed to call before they came to get the truck and did not. So I went to meet them and when I got there the guy never got out of his truck to greet meet or anything. Next thing I know the truck is pulling away for another call. Call the driver and the office and was told that they would call on their way back. Guess they only know how to answer the phone and not call out. Think the IRS might want to look into this company cause they want cash from most people. 🤔

Thanks to Mr John for getting my boat and trailer to the house for me late this evening. After being stranded on the side of the road for several hours under the impression a local towing company was on the way, I realized I had been neglected and was put in contact with Garretts Automotive. Mr John came from 50+ miles away to my aid while the primary towing company (pit crew towing 10 miles away) wouldnt bother to call and tell me they werent coming. It was a difficult tow from my view, as my axle on the boat trailer had broken, but Mr John made it look easy. Thanks again

I called Garretts to have a vehicle towed from Ft Walton Beach to Panama City Beach. I negotiated a flat rate of 225 dollars to tow my van 50 miles. I spoke with Tracy in the office and scheduled the tow for the next day. She was very nice and helpful on the phone. The next day Logan towed my vehicle and dropped it off at my house. There was a little miscommunication between Tracy and Logan about my drop off address. But they handled it and in the end I was a happy customer. I would use them again. Thanks Garretts!

It was absolutely the worst service Ive ever had in my life they were very disrespectful prices were not good and they didnt even help us they showed up towed our truck to their place and left us there when they could have towed it to the side of the road cuz we had a tire blow out they were absolutely rude I mean horribly rude dont go to Garretts towing.

He showed up 25 minutes ahead of schedule! I was given text updates and received an auto check up call to inquire about my satisfaction.I am giving five stars because I left as if I was rescued after being screwed over by another tow truck company that abandoned my service after six hours of waiting in the heat and rain.

My daughter hit a deer Friday evening. It was bad and totalled her car. I usually use Mr. Flemming but his drivers were pretty far out and the FHP officer (who was very nice as well) asks if I wanted the rotation driver after we waited for a bit for an ETA from Flemmings. I said sure he said next one is Garretts and I said ok. They were there in 15 mins, super nice, helped calm my daughter with a little story and all went well. When we went back to the office the next day the lady was real nice and they are also loving pet people too. A bad wreck with a fortunate outcome came us in contact with some nice people. I would call Garretts again. My daughter walked away and that is the most important thing.

Driver was nice however towed a vehicle for my POS landlord that’s was properly Tagged and insured, showed all documents to driver he tried to not tow my truck but landlord kept pushing the issue, so as of now you are in possession of a stolen vehicle I will be filing a police report and will be at your office everyday open to close until you release my truck!! 🖕🏼

First funny how the owner or manager gave this business 5 star, Thought reviews were for customers..lol oh well got it get it where you can I guess. My son was towed from a local doctors office parking lot after hours while visiting a friend in the hospital. We went back and found two no parking signs when we returned the next day...one in a bush and one kinda turned out, with next to no lighting where we were you could not see them at night unless you were right on top of them. which we were not. Any way get to the place and pay 100 bucks to get the auto back even tho the bill was 97.50. The guy said they did not give change, he also did not provide a receipt. then when questioned about his shady actions he pretends to call LEO stating this guy is being a smart and I want him locked up. There are several complaints listed against this business and they way they do business. Wonder if they report the extra money the extort from people? I wish there was a minus star !!

My fiancee got into a wreck and Garretts came out and towed it to there shop, they were very nice and polite. They helped me with loading our car onto a trailer. They ARE NOT bad or mean or cruel people. As some reviews ive seen. Manners are key to a good experience. They are just like us and have a family to support and business to run.

While no one wants to have their vehicle towed and of course parked where it did say it would tow. Of course the doctors office I was parked at was closed and thought i could drop off something to my wife. She was tied up so 20 mins later when i walked out, my truck was gone. To top it off, they wouldn’t take my debit card. They wanted cash only which several other people had said. Tell me someone isn’t making some extra money. Perhaps the doctors office is receiving a little kick back as well? $100, which who carries cash anymore?

For your own safety do not call this company. My daughter called them yesterday at 4 pm to ask if they could tow her car from the beach to lynn haven. The man said it would be $55. He came at 9pm and once she gave him the address to our family mechanic he said he would not tow it. He told her it would be broken into at that address but he could tow it to their shop. He wrote out an estimate and asked for $35. I am sad to say she paid him, for eaht, we still do not know. I called this morning to speak with a manager and within 30 seconds the manager was yelling at me to come talk to his face. His name is Frank and Frank should never be allowed to meet a distressed person, especially a lady, out at night. My husband called also and Frank hung up on him. I have never dealt with such a horrible person representing a business and allowed to meet women in the dark with such a temper. For your own safety please do not use this company.

Service was friendly, everybody was nice and courteous, cost was reasonable, an overall pleasant experience.

Had my truck towed from gulf coast medical center. No signs around or in front of where I parked so I called Garrett s to ask if they could send someone to pick me up so I could get my truck guy was very rude said he had no one to send. I walked about 2 miles to up go get my truck to be greeted with two men that said they were going to call the law on me because rightly so I wasnt very happy, then I find that they had damaged my left rear quarter panel and put and scratch in my 2017 f150 that went all the way to bare metal. Needless to say I am very dissapointed and as someone in business myself I would never treat customers that way or have an employee treat a customer in the manner. I will be filing a civil suit against them. I really dont see how they are still in business at all!! They sure wouldnt make it in Jackson county Florida with customer service like that! Business was dirty, cluttered, and not recommended for any services. Unprofessional owner spoke disrespectful and raised his voice to customers and staff. Overcharged substantially from original quote. Couldn’t or wouldn’t perform simple task of adding air to tires and kept car much longer than promised. This business highly contributes to the reason the automotive industry has a bad reputation and is notorious for overcharging. Not recommended under any circumstances.

The absolute WORST towing business i ever dealt with. Took literally hours to convince the towing guy (which claimed to be one of the head guys) to tow the car to our house and he got mad about not being able to tow it to his lot to rack up money so he purposely waited at a gas station for an hour so we had to pay more cash money! Complete bs and these people are crooks. Don’t use this company ever unless you want to get screwed over in the end.

This piece of nothing store put a lien on my registration even tho I dont even have that car. I dont even know where the h is it and the insurance its the one taking care of that.

This has got to be one of the most uncompassionate group of people. This company was talked to by a doctor of Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City about a family that had a newborn in the nic unit having surgery and their car was towed. This towing company was extremely rude and not a care in the world about what this family was going through. Even with the doctor explaining everything to them.

My granddaughter had a wreck in 2017 the highway patrolman recommended garretts.he obviously didnt know anyone else or he gets kickbacks for recommendations because these people jury rigged my front bumper, let me explainI hit a deer a few weeks ago and since I work in Savannah Georgia I carried my car to Joe Hudson collision center (whom I highly recommend) seems Garretts used wood screws to put my front bumper assembly back together, when I called Garretts the man told me it was impossible as in couldnt be done, well I dont know if I was born at night or in the daytime but I do know it wasnt yesterday or last night Garretts was the last one to put the front bumper back on the car, common sense tells me they are the ones that used the wood screws. Take your vehicle anywhere else even bubbas shade tree auto repair & flea market. Take it to Garretts at your own risk. Google doesnt have negative stars so I was kind & gave them 1 star

I parked at a doctors office that was closed at 10 PM to run in to the emergency room to bring some stuff to my mom. There were unlit signs on the building of the office, which I noticed after the fact, but not in front of the parking spaces that were facing the other way, so not at all obvious at night. I walked back out of the emergency room 20 minutes later and my truck was gone. After talking with the employees at gulf coast medical center, I found out that 20 plus of cars get towed there nightly and that the advanced urology institute apparently gets a kickback. The guy working at the towing place was also very unfriendly. He didnt accept cards and had me scrambling around in the middle of the night trying to figure out how to get some cash. I ended up going across the street to corams and getting some cash out of the atm. I normally dont write bad reviews, and I understand that no one wants their car towed, and I understand that it is necessary sometime, but businesses that take advantage and trap people infront of a hospitals are pretty evil, I can see by the other reviews that everyone agrees. Towing a car out of an empty parking lot of a closed doctors office in the middle of the night is ridiculous.

Absolutely do not do business with these people in any way they also lease rental property with many issues including bed bugs and do not disclose that information before renting to people enter your home through windows then violently threaten you when you don’t bed down to them just an awful business with crooked owner have a great day and avoid these people 😊
