Water heater leaked upstairs to downstairs causing extensive water damage. ServPro was very responsive and had a crew out the next day. Tucker did an outstanding job setting a containment area, removing all of the damaged materials, mitigating any potential for mold, and ensured all areas were dried in accordance with industry standards. He kept me updated at all times since this was not my primary residence and definitely gave me peace of mind. I definitely recommend ServPro of Bay County.

Just moved into a house that had been vacant for almost a year, when we arrived we noticed a smell from the vents that wouldn’t go away like your typical startup smell after a long summer, found critter droppings by the air handler and whole family had allergy type reactions whenever we needed to use the a/c or heat. SERVPRO techs Dusty and Tucker came out and did a great job cleaning everything and our project manager Anthony was super flexible and coordinated everything with our HVAC service so we could knock out some additional work at the same time, which was huge for us because we have four kids. On Saturday December 26, the day after Christmas, I returned home from vacation in South Florida with my family. Upon opening the door I stepped in an inch of water! I called Servpro and Tennessee Banks was at my door in like 20 minutes. He called a young man to Vacuum up 120 gallons of water. They then placed 20 fans throughout the house and 4 humidifiers to keep the moisture from molding while I had a chance to gut the house. The situation looked impossible and the home looked like a total loss. Tennessee told me everything is going to be alright sir; just trust me. They came by daily and sprayed the walls floors and carpet. Then Anthony came out and assessed the pricing damage; meanwhile Im thinking my God how am I gonna pay for all of this. Anthony told me if I did the demolition myself I could save some money; in 9 days, I removed 10,000 pounds of wet carper and debris! They even gave me a discount on my bill because my mom is 86 years of age and widowed. I am a very hard man, U.S. Military Veteran and everything but I had to admit I CRIED! I never seen the such! I told Anthony that they are the SWAT team of disaster recuses! Thanks SERVPRO of Panama City, Florida. If it wasnt for you my house would have definitely been lost and my New Year would have been a continuance of 2020! Water heater was leaking over the past month and flooded the area inside the wall thought I had black mold called Sat. and spoke to Trevor he explained all all they could do for me general pricing ideas and I decided to wait till Monday instead of weekend rates simply because i dont have insurance and would pay more out of pocket he advised me on everything I could do and needed to contain my problem till then what and where I may have problems and would contact me for appt Mon. 1st thing Mon he called and was out in 20 mins. Went over everything advised me what they could do and cost and if I decided to DIY what I could possibly do either way they were their if I needed them. Great help and care! Soon as I figure what I can do I will definitely call them would advise if you need them they are here to help!

I found it strange that I did not receive a confirmation 24hrs in advance of my service but as a business owner myself who takes pride in customer service and professionalism, I realize my standards are high. My service was scheduled for 9am and no one shows up. I call ServPro at 10am to inquire. They try to get a hold of the technician to no avail I guess so she has to call me back. Then I receive a call back from Trevor saying they had an “emergency” service they had to tend to. Now I’m really mad because they have placed another customer/service as a priority without even a phone call or heads up that the technician was not going to show up for my service. NOT GOOD BUSINESS!He then says the technician will do my service when he’s done with the other and he doesn’t not have a time frame nor clue when that would be. Now mind you, my contractor has been waiting at the house since 8:45 to let them in and I mention that to Trevor and he says “oh I didn’t know that”. What difference does that make whether you know that or not? It’s called CUSTOMER SERVICE. They do not value their customers or potential customers. I can only assume the other job was much more money than my $300 quote. Ha! And the owner received awards for his Georgia franchise. Maybe Benjamin Kyle Carter should look into business operations of this Bay Area franchise.

We just got my house put back together from Hurricane Michael. 3 Mos. ago the Kitchen sink sprung a leak in the walls. We dont know how long the water had been going under the new floating floor but 3 rooms and a hall was affected. I had moved my elderly parents into the house because their house was destroyed from the Hurricane. My father has dementia, heart issues and had a stroke so it was so there was a since of urgency. Haley and her crew of 6 men got to the house 7 mins after we first called. Everyone had their feet covered and mask. They moved around the house so quietly and quickly as not to disturb my parents. There was concern of whether the smell would be eliminated, but even though there were some residual smell issues at first, both times I needed to call them to come back, she dropped everything and got right on it. My landlord scheduled them to do an inspection and estimate for my house, which had minimal damage to it from the hurricane. The guy who came out just kind of made things awkward, and quoted my landlord $3,500 for work to be done. I know a man from my work who owns his own Restoration company that is very reliable, and he offered his own inspection. Not only was there no mold or mildew, but my entire place was bone dry and there werent any damages whatsoever. Do not let this company steal from you!

They came out to inspect for mold without instruments and told.ke they would get me an estimate. Never got the estimate. Also, I asked that the kitchen be saved if possible. His answer was, if it looked like it got wet, we take it out. Didnt seem like that had anything to do with mold and would make my life hard with the rebuild. Think I will pass. Have heard good and bad things so cant really fully review.

Im writing to recognize the conspicuous effort of the crew ServPro dispatched to my home on 10/7-8/19 to address mold issues in our master bathroom. The 2 man crew, Brandon & Trevor were two of the most industrious and professional technicians Ive watched perform.Im not familiar with mold mitigation but I was definitely concerned. Brandon & Trever took the time to explain step-by-step the work they would be performing in terms I could understand. Having some insight into what they were doing reduced my anxiety about the contamination and how they were going to attack and resolve it. I watched them work and could see for myself how they transformed our bathroom. The mold vanished and Brandon & Trevor cleaned the work area so the contractor we engaged to replace our two-sink vanity will get the work done in short order.Thank You for sending such a professional crew to deal with our problem

In a nutshell I am re-evaluating my original 1 star review to a 5 star though in reality it should be 4 1/2 (because their bill came in less than anticipated, and the Mitigation Manager Trevor Bus (Not to be confused with Trevor Grier, part of my problem) just paid me a personal visit because of my unfavorable comments.... Mr. Bus is a plesure to deal with and smoothed everything over. Up to this point however, I found it very difficult to deal with these folks in that they absolutely will not provide an estimate...its difficult to sign on to a deal where you have no idea concerning costs. That being said, they kept their service promise for the most part (with exception of daily inspections) and everyone I dealt with was fairly knowledgeable and extremely courteous. Because of the no estimate problem I released their services after the destruction and mold remediation phases and did the reconstruction myself. Overall I was satisfied, would recommend them to others with advice to get the pricing straight and insist on dealing with Trevor Bus whos intervention was professional and much appreciated.

Before daylight on 10/30/2019 water was discovered on tile and carpeted floors. With one phone call, ServPro arrived before noon and began the clean-up. For seven days ServPro technicians moved fans and humidifiers drying out the floors and baseboards. Tucker Purvis was our most frequent visitors carefully monitoring the drying process. Tucker was professional and answered our questions concerning the process. He even helped moved furniture to a temporary location before leaving his final day on 11/6/2019. ServPro is definitely on our most preferred list.

This is a review from the damage from Hurricane Michael. Tucker, Kevin, Anthony, and their team went above and beyond my expectations. The work was extensive, approximately 8 days, and every room in our home was damaged in some way. They communicated thoroughly throughout the entire process. I had a salesman come to home for a estimate on getting my AC ducts cleaned. He was not very straightforward on their pricing as I found out later they wanted to add a $250 “service fee” for commercial equipment set up. When I asked the lady at the office what this was for she said it is for setting up the equipment and cleaning the mainline duct. I felt this was dishonest. I also found out that their price of $50 per register is high for this type of work. I would not recommend this company for anything.

The guys are still here cleaning up the mess in my house which flooded from a water heater that exploded. Its after midnight and they are still here working so hard. I am so impressed with this crew, I couldnt even wait to write a review. They are amazing, awesome, professional, friendly and hard working! Worst company. They worked at bay med and helped themselves to whatever they could find that they wanted. When packing papers for storage, they rummaged through drawers in offices and stole any personal belongings they wanted. Thsee people should be held responsible for the items their workers stole.

I called them in the first week of February 2019. That night TALENA sent an email letting me know that Scott Huffman would be calling me shortly to set up appointment. He showed up next day and spent time seeing what walls, ceilings, needed to be taken down, according to what my insurance had dictated. Included mold remediation, equipment needed such as air purifiers, air scrubbers. And at the end of project, they go in there, and heavily fog your home to kill any fungus, mold and mildew spores. They were here 3 days in a row. They worked hard and together and did not take a lunch break. They just snacked thru out day. Ready to explain anything you asked them. At the end they dealt with my insurance company telling them and sending diagrams and actual photos of work done and explanation of each to my insurance company. I truly felt they would not receive anymore money than what my insurance company had allotted for this project. So you can visualize my surprise when I received the check for the exact amount 2 weeks later after they had completed project. They did an excellent job, FEEL CONFIDENT, SERVPRO knows what they are doing. Now I am going to call them again to have them put the ceilings, and drywall back in. A lot of people do not realize they also have a GENERAL CONTRACTOR LICENSE. So they can take care of so much in helping you move forward in getting your house restored back to normal. The Project Manager was so accommodating, made it easy to remove or add a project. He was very helpful and would always take the time to keep me appraised of the situation. I even thought that one project was included in the original contract, but I was wrong after reviewing the contract. Even then Steve still was willing to just add it on to the work order and add pricing to the contract. Also gave me right away the total add on price down to the penny. Now that is a true PROJECT MANAGER!Love the work they did, love my house again. Some of my neighbors started earlier with other contractors and still have not had all repairs finished!THANK YOU SERVPRO!
