Ive been going about 8 months, my first exposure to Tai Chi. The teachers seem to have a martial arts perspective, but even if you are not interested in that perspective (Im not particularly) it gives a certain focus and emphasis to the teaching, and you can really see the layers of learning you can acquire if you stay with it. I have noticed not that many beginners make it all the way through (it takes 5-6 months continual attendance), but there are a core of experienced attendees, and any one of them can be your teacher on a night ... even if they arent the designated teacher for the night they are happy to emport some of their body wisdom.

Dont expect to win fights during the first decade of instruction, its the second decade when the fun begins!

The beginning of the class was good, but after several weeks (4+ or so), there were only a few students left in the class, and the instructors ended up talking w/ each other instead of teaching the students what to do. Very disappointed.
