The best place to get a haircut in the Bay Area, hands down. I first went to Gerardo when I was in high school and I still go there now (nearly decade later) because I havent found a better place. Great value, great haircut, great human.

Ive been going to Cardinal Barber Shop for over 10 years and I wont go anywhere else. No dealing with appointments and scheduling. Just walk in whenever I need a trim. Gets the edges and the sides perfect every time with a straight razor. Couldnt ask for anything more.

Great local OG barbershop. Geraldo has been here forever and knows his stuff. Been coming here monthly ever since I moved to the area 4 years ago. Many of my friends are regulars as well. His cut is consistent and exactly what I wanted.

Great haircut, but the owner is touchy and creepy. Should I have to ask you not to stick your fingers into my eardrums? No. 1 star for additional inappropriate touching, rubbing his belly against me, grabbing my hand and fingers. I was squirming by the end of it, no reasonable business should operate like this.

I love going here.. nice elderly man (Ive only seen the one guy) who gives real good haircuts. My kids loving going there (both boys), as do I. Its not the most modern or fancy place, but the man can seriously cut hair.Neck shaves too..They even have girlie mags, not that I read them, but its a nice touch for that classic mens barber ;-)

Followed the reviews on Google and wasn’t disappointed. Great, old school barbershop. Good value. If I didn’t live in New Zealand I’d come here every time for a cut.

I had the same experience as Luca and I think he was rubbing more than his belly... and it was during a strangely long and creepy massage. I will definitely be avoiding this business from now on and advise you do as well.

First, I read the bad reviews. They are not accurate. I was hyper sensitive due to the negative comments about the barber and not one little bit was true. So go in knowing the negative is a odd persons view of a great vendor. The good is true. This barber is attentive to details and took me in 10 min before closing with two other people waiting which is not the norm in the bay area. The mans customer service is refreshing. A great cut and a kind man. Parking is tough. Some partking accross the street in a public parking garage.

Rode my bike over at 10:30 on a Tue morning, parked in front of Coupa Cafe, and walked in to the kind of hair cut you just cant get at a chain. 29 years cutting hair. Im a simple cut - not much hair left - a number 2. Yet each pass of the three or four different shaver/cutters was done with care. Straight razor neck and side burns touch up using hot lather. Neck, side burn, and temple massage. Detailed trimming around ears and eye brows. Fast. Effective. Comfortable. $18. Ill be back for sure.

In town for a couple weeks and needed a hair cut. Geraldo did a great job. Look forward to coming back in 3-4 weeks.

Coming here for 15 yrs, Geraldo is very professional but kind and friendly, price is fair, great haircut and he trims my beard for same price-he is always very accommodating and he helps me with my Spanish

I have terrible hair. Each strand has a mind of its own. I have been asked if I cut my own hair on multiple occasions. I came upon Cardinal just by chance while I was on vacation. When I came home I received the only compliments Ive ever gotten about my hair. Im seriously thinking about flying back here for vacation again just to get a haircut.
