We stayed at #pskittyhawk following the end of the school year. The house is beautiful and is fully stocked! You only need to bring food (and wine) if you choose! There is nothing that this house doesn’t have. It’s a 5+ star property. Worth every penny. The service is great, the location is perfect and the experience is incomparable! Thank you @relaxpalmsprings. We are guaranteed customers who will be back!
First of all, we just walked through the doors of our limoncello home for the week and are IN LOVEEEEE!! The interior, the pool, the cleanliness! 10/10 across the board! The backyard is literally to die for! Nathan was so kind and helpful. He was the icing on the cake for our introduction to our Palm Springs stay!
The website is operates very smooth and very attractive to the eye. Photography really good. Friendly and efficient operation. Scott should be proud.
I book a house through this agency and they cancel on me one day before because of a plumbing issue it’s ok right? Out of their hands the person who answer the phone unavailable to help give more options at least try he was rude, unprofessional, big time attitude like I owned something to him when they already charged on my card full price which is how it’s works I understand And when they cancel on you ?? Which should be our fee as a customers At the end he just hang up on me that they way they solve their issues think twice hiring them or at least have a plan b with this agency they lack on their work and responsibilities. I own a company i can’t imagine talking like that to my clients and hanging up on them. Maybe they doble book the house ? .....
**Update**I finally got them to call me back, they called me at 7am (who does that?) and when I told them that I was upset they said, and I quote, None of that is true, and if you dont have proof then we have nothing else to discussI wish I remebered the man I spoke with because he was the most rude man I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.I work in customer service and I understand that things happen and am more than happy to give companies a chance to make things right. Relax Palm Springs did NOTHING of the sort. It is the most abhorent customer service experience I have had to deal with. PS was a lovely city and I will definitely be going back but staying FAR away from Relax Palm Springs.Original:I wanted to enjoy my time here SO badly, unfortunately that was not the case.To start with, we booked through Airbnb for this house with the assumption that Relax Palm Springs was an honest company trying to help people have a good time during such a scary time. I couldn’t have been more wrong!We went during the off season in Palm Springs (August) to get away from work and change up our scene. Relax Palm Springs charged us Coachella prices for our off season stay! They have been unresponsive in my attempt to request additional information on why this was done. It is absolutely DISGUSTING to do that to people ever, but especially during a time like this.To start with, the require that you call them when you get there to take a ‘virtual tour’ of the place. The cell reception is SO bad in the house that you have to walk to the street to actually have the conversation. We had guests with three different cell companies and none of us were able to make a phone call.IF the property had been clean/sanitized and the amenities were all usable we may have let it go but that was not the case.There was ice in the freezer and spices in the cabinet, probably left by the last tenants, but it definitely was a health hazard given the current pandemic going on in the world right now. This can only indicate to current tenants that the home was not properly disinfected.There was a crack in one of the bathrooms that had MOLD in it! Again, an indication that the home was not properly cleaned disinfected during a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. Absolutely disgusting.Speaking of mold, the washing machine smelled SO bad of mold it was unusable. Despite the rancid moly smell I tried using it to give them the benefit of the doubt and EVERYTHING in the washing machine came out reeking of mildew. It was not usable in any sense of the word.The shower in the master bedroom had NO hot water and the water pressure was so low it felt like a trickle. On the note of showers, the other shower in the main house had such high water pressure it was LITERALLY painful to stand in, so pick your poison I guess.They did have a pool which should have been a nice place for us to relax as we were attempting to stay in the home as much as possible. Alas, that was another disappointment. The pool was gross, it had dirt and debris all along the bottom with no pool sweep to keep it clean. As the owner of a pool myself this was SO insane to me. Especially with guests I cannot imagine asking them to step into a muddy pool.If we had not been charged DOUBLE the off season price for this home I wouldnt be nearly as upset, but after paying more than $500 PER NIGHT I expect the amenities to be safe, clean and usable. I am completely outraged at their lack of cleanliness and the over charge.
The BEST vacation rental agency. They make you feel so comfortable and taken care of. They meet you at the home upon check in and show you around. No other agencies do that. They even show you how to use the remote controls, speakers and thermostat. If you are looking to rent in Palm Springs, look no further. Thank you Relax Palm Springs for making our vacation so wonderful.
The rental property we used had a broken dishwasher, leaky freezer, broken lights, and dirty hot tub/pool.The roof had a tarp over it due to recent weather (not accessing blame for this to them), however they came to work on it early in the morning after it leaked one night we were there and the workers they hired blared music even though they threatened us with lawsuits if we played any music outside. Apparently, there is a noise ordinance, but the fact that their workers were playing loud music certainly created a lot of doubt as to whether what they told us was true or not.They also denied us late checkout until the morning we were checking out. Since we were already under the impression that we couldnt get late checkout this didnt result in the benefits of actually getting late checkout up front. Originally, they said someone was checking in the day we were due to check out, but on the day of our checkout we found out this wasnt true. Maybe there was a cancellation, but feeling like youve had the wool pulled over your eyes isnt an experience Im looking for when simply asking for a late checkout.While they did refund a good portion of our trips cost, they were completely unresponsive during that process—simply crediting us without any sort of response. While I might have be willing to use them again in a pinch, this lack of professionalism and lack any sort of mea culpa really left a bad taste in our mouth.Unfortunately, I cant recommend Relax Palm Springss services in good faith and can not see a scenario where I would use them again.
My perspective is that of a one-time renter. I rented a house through Airbnb for an extended weekend for a group. When I was sketched out (being unfamiliar and presented with unexpected processes outside the Airbnb site, which Airbnb advises against), I sent a long message with various questions and concerns. That signaled alarm to them, so the owner called me to assuage concerns. He tended to talk over me a bit (to be fair, I had basically been questioning their integrity), but he was also very professional and did alleviate my concerns. The representative who dealt with our booking was the same who continued answering our questions until directly before our stay, and he was also professional and responsive. When we arrived, though, they had two property managers meet us for check-in, and they were absolutely fantastic. Super personable and real, they showed us around, explained the amenities, gave us local suggestions, and insisted we be in touch for any reason we deemed necessary. Our checkout was similar. And it seemed like they took good care of the property, as they had landscapers (once) and pool maintenance out (once for cleaning, once for system maintenance) during our short stay. We also asked for a few special allowances, and while the bigger ones werent granted, they were extremely accommodating and gracious in granting the more common requests.
Rental went badly due to numerous issues at the property. Relax Palm Springs fobbed us off with a lot of promises, with no follow through, and have been completely unresponsive. I would not use them again.
