Outstanding service, had a mix up when I arrived over miss communication on the phone, and within five minutes the manager had it all straightened out for me. Great customer service on the phone. I will say that the website is a bit misleading because they currently do NOT offer climate controlled storage for RVs and Fifth Wheels even though the have photos and web print claiming they do. I was told it is under construction and will not be completed until next winter (2022)

One of the few safe, secure indoor parking places in the desert. You simply call 48 hours ahead to schedule a pickup of your motorhome and its ready and waiting for you. The staff starts vehicles every two weeks to make sure theyre in good running order. Highly recommended.

As storage facilities go, this place is unusual. Its storage inside a large warehouse just a quick 5 minute drive up Indian. . Access is limited to office hours but the tradeoff is the high security. You access your unit by stopping to sign in at the office which means that no strangers are milling around nor can they enter once the office closes. I know that my treasures and myself are 100% safe.

If you are able to access your belongings only during office hours this place is outstanding. Very safe this way. They even have huge INDOOR parking areas to store vehicles.

My spouse and I recently researched and visited several climate-controlled storage locations in the Coachella Valley, and chose Sun Valley Storage in Palm Springs because they had truly air-conditioned space, the facility was very clean and seemed secure, and Tom, the Manager on site, was so service-oriented.Sadly, due to factors beyond our control related to the recent pandemic crisis, we had to indefinitely postpone our move and no longer need offsite storage. Since we had never taken possession of a storage unit, or moved anything into storage, Sun Valley Storage worked with us to refund our deposit.If we ever need storage in the area, we will be contacting Sun Valley Storage again.

This facility is clean, HUGE, climate controlled, with a good range of units. I thought I needed something larger and Kevin helped me realize I didn’t need so much space. I was storing artwork and books, so I needed something climate controlled and safe. Considering the entire building is surrounded by fencing and cameras, it is definitely secure. The units are actually also inside a larger building, an old Walmart or something, so there’s another thick layer of protection which feels much more secure than a regular facility with the outside units.. Process of getting in and out is easy, and they allow you to use their dollies and whatever else you may need (rope/straps) etc, and the entrance doors are large enough to accommodate moving items in/out. Location is also convenient for me, as it’s right outside of town and I live downtown.Professional facility with friendly workers!!Also, seems a lot of galleries store artwork here, as well as classic cars. Pretty neat space.

I store my car at this facility. When I returned home for the season, I simply called ahead and my car was waiting in front of the office.

I dont usually go out of my way to write reviews, but my wife and I were talking about how these folks took such good care of us yesterday. We spoke with them from our home in Alberta about a month ago. We had a couple of follow up conversations to make certain everything was set for our car and condo storage. The guy at the office was very informative and we were emailed all the documents in advance of our arrival. Since we had a car that we had shipped down prior to our arrival, he (Mark?) told us how to handle all the details. When our Westjet flight landed we took a cab ride to the storage, (about 15 minutes Id say). Everything was ready for us. They probably were tired of our phone calls, but couldnt have been nicer about it. The next day when our movers arrived, the manager helped fit everything in our units and explained how we were to be billed and gave us a tour of the facility. I am afraid that I do not have much that is good to say about Sun Valley Climate Self Storage. I wanted one month of storage and told them that up front. I also told them that I might move out earlier. They politely told me to let them know as if it was no big deal. When I went to get my belongings, I found out that I had to pay an extra month because I had not given them ten days notice. Not my idea of the way you get customers to come back. They are not clear about their hours when you can have access, phone calls are occasionally answered, and their webpage does not tell you much. I would strongly recommend against using this storage company.

Pros: Storage area is on steroids, this is one big place.Cons: Not the cheapest. In this day and age I guess you get what you pay for.Conclusion: If you can afford it, unquestionably worth it, with all the perks included.

What an amazing place these guys have everything from air-conditioned Warehouse to your best storage facility ever in the desert I request that you talk to Mike if you do call climate controlled all day everyday 24/7 I was a great customer there and Im an employee cannot request a better place to go
