This store has gone down hill in the last year. They were recently sold and the current owners have no motivation to be efficient in an way. There used to be a drop off box for packages with prepaid postage. No more. Now just to drop something off is a 30 min wait, even with one person ahead of you.
I have used this small Postal Center since it first opened and have always had exceptional service period.
This is a long over due review. These people are the best at what they do. Not only do they do their job, they go above and beyond. I was always greeted, professionalism was consistent, and they made sure your request was taken care of. If I did not have to move, I would still be there.
The hustle is real and these guys are pros! I run an ecommerce biz and am continuously receiving and sending a high volume of packages. Since the new ownership took over, not only does the place LOOK more organized and efficient, it actually is! They always have ample staffing so waiting is usually a cpl of minutes. They are super knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve worked A LOT w FedEx, UPS, DHL and USPS over the years, and usually drop of labeled and packed parcels. However if I needed to purchase packing and shipping I would prefer to go direct to these guys than stand in line at the post office.
My experiences with the store and staff have been wonderful. It’s nice to have a store that is close and customer focused . Before I found this place used to wait in line at UPS and Palm Springs post office, never have to wait long here. I have had everything done from passport photos to returns to shipping items, to copying always pleased with the service and results . Definitely worth the 5 star.
Palm Springs Postal has been my go to for notary services, packing, shipping, postage, photo copies, faxing etc. They are always friendly, helpful, and since the pandemic started they all wear masks, sanitize store, and they have installed a shield at the counter. And I am grateful for the requiring customers to wear masks.
Before I moved to Palm Springs early in 2018 I did great research in trying to find a mail service business so that I could have an address to receive my mail at. I did not want my physical address to be known by many because of who I am. I chose Postal Palm Springs. I knew from my first visit that I had made a wise decision. Mike, the manager, and his staff need to give some other businesses in Palm Springs lessons in what good customer service is. I love these people because they are always very pleasant and willing to help. They go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met. If they are not able to help you, due to restrictions, they will point you in the right direction. They offer many great services but you have to remember they dont do every single thing that a regular U.S. Post Office can. They come pretty close though. Mike and his staff are AAA+++ in my book. Thank you so much and you guys are greatly appreciate. This is TSD!
Always go in here to make copies of keys for the homes I take care of and the employees are always quick. Today I had to make 3 copies of a set of 3 keys and while one was making copies another was ringing me up to make the process quicker. Great team work and always with a smile! Thank you PPS for great service and always helping out Vacation Palm Springs!
This is a place I have no problem going to. The staff are friendly and very open minded. I have gone out of my way on more than one occasion to get the simplest of services from them and it is always worth the extra mile. I have rented a box, had things notarized, and used shipping services. I always feel the enviroment is non-judgmental. I frequently see staff that are treated very well and it reflects in their services making me feel like this is a positive place to bring my business. As a business this is a company I definitely want in my community.
A really nice local business. The staff are nice and try really hard to be sure everyone is happy. They are very focused on details, which means your packages will be delivered correctly. I also have a mailbox here and couldnt be happier with how they manage my mail and my package deliveries. The only real issue is not in their control, and thats the strip mall they are in. Its chaos in that parking lot.
Wow! This place is awesome! I meant the new owners today when I pick up the mail. They are warm friendly and really wanted to make sure I was happy with the service. The place is cleaned up and looks amazing. I highly recommend!
A very pleasant experience. All staff is friendly and helpful. I misplaced a receipt for a package and Michael was wonderful by emailing me a copy. I highly recommend it.
Great place and great environment!
For the past couple of years, Ive been a regular customer and used Postal Palm Springs for overnight packages/letters, faxing, notarizing and packaging materials. Always pleasant, never a problem.Things change, sometimes, with new owners. Never again!Last Wednesday, I went in to send an overnight letter via UPS ($64 - ouch!). Expensive, but, you know, when it has to be there! Anyway, in conversation, I learned that the place was under new ownership--sounded like it was very recent. Next day, my UPS overnight didnt arrive overnight--it didnt arrive for 2 days which presented some problems (but beyond the scope of this review). So, I went in Friday afternoon (after it had finally been delivered) to ask for a refund or partial refund since it didnt arrive as promised and since Id wasted about 2 hours on the phone with UPS on Thursday trying to make arrangements for it to be picked up on the delivery end. (By the way, I initially contacted UPS by phone about a refund but they indicated that since I purchased the service from Postal Palm Springs that I would have to request the refund from them as well). While there on Friday, I was told by the owner weve never had this happen before and dont know what to do--which, I suppose, was plausible given the new ownership. They didnt give me a refund Friday, which was disappointing, but not a huge deal. Of course, I would have thought new owners would want to make a good customer service impression and have provided me a refund, and then followed up with UPS to get their reimbursement. But, that was not the case. Instead, they took my contact information and said theyd call me back. Clearly, a missed opportunity for great customer service--but, whatever....Not having heard anything from them by Tuesday, I was at the Stater Bros next door, and stopped in to follow up on my refund. Heres where the haughty, really nasty attitude kicked in. The owner said (hands on hips) I called them Friday. I havent heard anything. What do you want me to do? (not said politely--which would have been fine--but said with incredible sarcasm and disdain--as if HE was the victim of a package not delivered on time rather than me!). I politely answered his question, Well, Id like you to call them back today and find out whats going on. UPS can clearly see the package wasnt delivered on time and a refund is certainly in order. He had no interest in doing that and it certainly seemed like he just wanted me and the whole situation to go away. Then, surprisingly, he said, with a level of disgust that a review can never convey: You know, Im just going to give you your money back!. He walked to the back room. Had that been done in a pleasant, Im so sorry for your inconvenience, sir. Let me refund your money now, and then Ill sort it out with UPS later sort of way--Id be writing a nice, positive review right now. But no, it was said in the nastiest way. About 5 minutes later, he came back out to the counter and stuck the cash in my face. Not one word, no apology, nothing. I said thank you, sir and left.Seriously, all I can say is why do people who hate customers go into a customer service business. I used this place for years, and presumably a new owner was buying a stream of returning customers among other things. Why as a new owner would you go so out of your way to be a jerk? Especially when you were learning the ropes with UPS and there were so many opportunities to make a screwed up situation right with a customer. Rest assured, Ill never set foot in Postal Palm Springs again. It wont surprise me if other returning customers encounter the same new owner experience when something doesnt go quite right.
Locked doors before their advertised closing time, even left the Open sign on. Slower than USPS and asks for personal info like email address etc, which shouldnt be necessary to send mail.Just stick to the regular post office
Quick and friendly service even at the busiest times. They offer so many useful services and are an awesome alternative yo the US Post Office.
Convenient to all my shipping and receiving mail
Great service and friendly people here. Highly recommended for your shipping and postal needs. Nice shopping center
I love this place. I needed a P.O. Box to ship my online orders to, and they were perfect. Great rates and my mailbox size doesnt impact the size or number of packages I can recieve.Plus they have an adorable doggo there sometimes!
Very reliable, most helpful and the friendliest staff! One stop shop for all my mailing needs from now on. Thanks for the great service guys!
5 THUMBS up to LEO for doing a really really AWESOME AWESOME JOB, keep up the great work.👍👍👍👍👍
We are snow-birds, and we came in here to have some notary work done. My husband is quite ill. His signature doesnt match is drivers license, he has a hard time concentrating, etc. These guys were so helpful and patient! Thank you!
How this place gets high reviews is beyond me! I have gone there on 4 different occasions and between the stretching radio that is so loud. Most the staff that is in first gear and the others who sit in the back when there is a line of people waiting and could care less.Today I went in for a notary. There was no one in the store and no one at the desk. a bell had rung when I went in and nobody came out. I finally said Hello, is anyone here? A womans voice came back, Ill be there in a minute. After a minute or so a mans head popped out and said shell be right with you. I sat at the notary desk for another 2 or 3 minutes and said apparently youre to busy to help a customer. The lady replied back, were short staffed today. Short staffed? nobody in the place and no one able to help? That is the last time I go in to this unmanaged store that has no time for customers! (this was on 2/15 when it was raining so hard and few people were out, I thought I might get some service THIS 5th time Ive gone in with having to wait and wait for service. Totally ridiculous and the owner who I believe is a mature blonde lady is to out of touch talking on the phone all the time.
I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Postal Palm Springs. Peter was really helpful on the phone prior to me coming in by giving me pricing and confirming notary times, even though I had to call back a few times because my plans kept changing. I ended up coming in late in the afternoon one weekday after hiking to the peak of San Jacinto. Peter and team were able to quickly print all the documents I needed, Joe notarized them, and we got everything done in time to make the last UPS pick-up for the day. It was extremely easy to come here and get everything I needed done in one location at a really reasonable price. I ended up paying way less than I would have for any mobile notary. Thank you Peter, Joe, and Mike – you were life savers!
I absolutely would NOT go anywhere else. Staff consistently provide a professional and most friendly atmosphere.
I imagine that somewhere deep in recesses of this un-air conditioned building is an employee muttering the angsty prose of Charles Bukowski, sorting mail by zip code, counting the minutes left of this dull existence before a 4 minute smoke break where hell sit outside on an orange adolescent sized chair stained with rain water and bleached by the sun stuffing a half-smoked butt into an already full coffee can. This is a simulacrum for the postal service in general. Cool building.
Went once and they were great. Now never. Poor customer service. Manager professional nut main decisions made by a woman who was just rude. Had heard other complaints regarding her but today my first experience. Go to the post office.
The best postal box experience in the greater Palm Springs area....at a very affordable price. The staff is fantastic!.cant say enough!
Did not administer the oath when I brought a Jurat in to be notarized. Beware of their services and lack of knowledge.
Its easy and pleasant to deal with
