My food was amazing, but my wifes not so great. They didnt make how It was saying on the menu and changed the vegetables without asking.

We visited Riccio’s as it was one of the few places with an open table and accepted online reservations. The server was nice, outdoor patio was lovely, and the location was great for dinner before VillageFest. The food was quite possibly the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. I’m not exaggerating. If you are reading these reviews, you are on the fence- don’t do it.

I absolutely loved my evening at Riccios Steak and Seafood restaurant.The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was relaxing and the food was amazing.Started off with the Beef Carpaccio.. fresh fresh fresh the flavor light and the capers added some pizzazz. They have a full bar if you desire cocktails.I was soaking in the sun all day and drank some mineral water.The meal was beyond my expectation.I even spoke with the lovely chef to find out how he prepared the broccoli 🥦 better than Id ever had. (White wine is involved!)I ordered the Cowboy Steak . I 💘 it. Bone in Rib eye. Tender and tasty and I had lunch for the next day the portion was huge. My friend had the scampi and pasta it was unreal I still a bite. Cannoli for desert. If I spelled it correctly its in the dictionary under too delicious for words.Do yourself a favor and enjoy a lovely dinner and memorable evening at Riccios.. Tell them Meek sent you! I will definitely be returning. I plan to try everything on the menu!! I love this place

Found this place late on a Sunday night, and was not disappointed in the least. Server was great, very friendly and she was very enthusiastic. Food was excellent, clam chowder soup was extremely tasty, shrimp fettucini alfredo done perfectly and spaghetti and meatballs was delicious. Kids salmon meal was like an adults meal, very impressive. Well be back!

Went for an early dinner, outside seating. Comfortable setting. Service was good. Scallops were great, lobster ravioli was great too. Best crab cake Ive had in a long time. Calamari was excellent. Would not recommend the chicken parm, however. Sauce was a little watery and bland with soggy chicken. Prices were good.

The service and ambience was excellent. Unfortunately, my friends and I were quite disappointed with our meals. My chicken piccata tasted boiled and bland. My Mojito tasted like the alcohol was missing. Pity, such great service.

A bit annoyed... They left their phone off the line for roughly an hour so I decided to drive there and place my order in person, to go... I was then informed they dont accept take out orders on the weekends... Which was news to me being that Ive done so in the past and on their page they explicitly state they do take out but dont specify only weekdays.I dont feel comfortable eating at their busy dining area during this pandemic. So that was a big let down and waste of time and gas.

Took the kids here for pasta, including the penne vodka, spaghetti Bolognese and the penne arrabiata. All were great, especially the penne vodka. We got seated right away on a very busy night. The service was perfect. The wine had a healthy pour. Great spot for people watching too.

Unfortunately, I would never return to this restaurant. To start, the bread was lukewarm and stale. The starter crab cake was completely flavorless and overly fried to the point of being difficult to cut. The fettuccini Alfredo was impossibly tasteless. The sauce tasted like heavy whipping cream poured carelessly over al dente fettuccini. The shrimp were large and somewhat flavorful, however. All of the food was served within 5 minutes of ordering, which I think is far to quick for food to be freshly prepared. The ambiance and service were the only decent thing about the experience.

The chef created some wonderful dishes for our meal. My personal dinner was lobster ravioli which was extremely tasty.

Took my in-laws out for a birthday dinner last night. The atmosphere outside was The Best part. The service was very nice. The food not too great for the money spent. The lettuce for the salad I had was wilted and not very crisp. The main course was ok I liked the Rack of Lamb ok but the sauce was a bit bland. The veggie were undercooked. The in laws both had some seafood dished and they both said they were just ok not great not for the price. I think we will try something else for the next birthday when it comes around.

We tried the prefix three-course dinner for $28 / we were pleased she started with the Caesar salad I had the fried calamari which actually was some of the best Ive ever had very light crispy breading and very tender calamari and we both have the filet mignon for the money it was okay wasnt the best piece of meat and then Tiramisu and a cannoli both

Great outdoor patio and friendly staff, but we came here for food and through this food came great disappointment. There were 4 of us whom all ordered different meals. We started with the calamari which was delicious. The house bread with the balsamic and oil were pretty good too.Not a single one of us was satisfied with our main course though. Among us we had the chicken dish, lobster ravioli, and two steaks. Served along with our $30 dollar plates were roasted potatoes and steamed vegetables. I am okay with paying $30+ for a plate, but it should have $30+ cooking and ingredients. Roasting and seasoning the veggies would have been a huge step up, but nonetheless they were boring, wet, unseasoned vegetables.Had their prices been in the $15 dollar range I would feel the quality of food would be acceptable, but charging more than $30 shows overconfidence in an underwhelming product.If youre looking a nice dinner, I would advise going elsewhere.

Great food and service

Visited on date night. Riccios Steak & Seafood were absolutely out of this world. We shared a whole fish, marinated and baked that was cooked absolutely perfectly.

Compliments to the chef for a great menu and delicious, well-prepared meal of escargot, lobster bisque, eggplant Parmigiano and Paella. All delivered to our table by a very knowledgeable and professional server.

1st time getting here and a very good choice. Food is delicious..

Haven’t eaten here in years. One of the few places open for dining albeit outdoors. Friendly staff. Alaskan halibut was spoiled. One bite. Didn’t touch the rest. Stick with pasta. Waitress didn’t even bat an eye when taking away huge plate of uneaten fish. Definitely not high quality seafood. Drinks only so so. House chard is fine but way overpriced. Avoid. SkyHigh prices and basement quality food. The help tho is very friendly

The rack of lamb was bland. The lobster bisque was watery and salty. The servers were accomodating thats why 2 stars.

This place is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. Whenever I want to go to a special meal, this restaurant comes instantly to my mind. Great and all kinds of food and a rich cuisine.professional staff, and pleasant vibes. I had spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was cooked just to the point that it wasnt crunchy. The meatballs were adequate. The sauce was there but nothing special.

On Valentines,we had no reservations but was able to set at the bar and have dinner. We didnt have to wait and the food was awesome. This is our 3rd time dinning here and we love sitting at the small bar to have our meals. Eat up have fun!!

Elegant atmosphere, great service, and the food was amazing. Had the New York Strip and it was the best steak i have had in a long time. Even the chicken strips my daughter had were top quality. I knew we picked a winner when we saw the olive oil for the bread on the table and they bring marina as well. 5 stars without a doubt would recommend this place.

My husband and I were looking for a more quiet, relaxing restaurant to dine. We found it!Wonderful meal: lobster bisque, steak, vodka and shrimp pasta, good beer, tiramisu. Delicious!Terrific, attentive service.Why not 5 stars? The bread was a little basic, but balsamic and oil improved it.Overall, excellent!

I went to dinner with family and we picked Riçcios Steak & Seafood. We were seated right away and that is always nice. They have a nice slection of meat and steaks plus a lot of good fish and seafood. I got a great Ribeye steak that was tender and juicy. Really a good piece of meat. I also like desserts. All in all it was a really good dinner and company was even better.

Didnt try the steaks but our group all had different variations of pasta dishes and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Excellent service.

Found​ this place by accident. Keep a sharp eye on the corner restaurant or youll miss it!Got calamari for appetizer, best Ive ever had!Our other appetizer was shrimp scampi I think but only came with 2 pieces, they tasted great but I wouldnt​ order again, 2 pieces is hardly anything.Ordered clam chowder, super awesome!Entree was seafood and chicken paella. Super bomb and huge portion!!Tiramisu cake for dessert. Also very good!Extremely satisfied with dinner!!

I was born here and raised in Palm Desert, so I know the area very well but never been here with my family and before I decided to go home I went to this restaurant for the first time and Im glad I did...

Only went from a recommendation at the hotel and was greatly disappointed, was absolutely disgusting.. oysters were old and the muscles were small with no flavourThe main meal was a clam pasta fish with absolutely no flavour just tasted like waterThe drinks were good but spent that was the only good part. Wouldnt recommend

I never write reviews, this is my first time and it’s not a good one. I ordered the linguine with clams, it was absolutely disgusting, it tasted like water with salt and pepper. The drinks were way to expensive for what they were. I order dessert thinking it would save the night but it didn’t! it tasted like detergent. I don’t know why this places has over 4 stars I don’t recommend it

Saw this restaurant on our way through town, it looked great so we thought we’d try it. It was not good at all. As soon as we walked in, there was a smell of sewage. My husband wanted to leave then, but I still wanted to give the place a try. I ordered the Bellini martini, which comes with a “side car” like Frank Sinatra used to order. Good idea, but I only drank half of it (which is odd for me, but it wasn’t very good!). Then we shared several dishes, starting with the mussels (which although should have been in a garlic white wine sauce, had a strange bitter quality). Then we had the shrimp linguini, which was just “ok”... the shrimp were tough. We shared the Mediterranean seafood dish after that, and the only thing we liked on that was the crab leg. Nothing we ordered had a good flavour, so we stopped there. I expected better given the reviews. Would not go back.

As of right now it is 9:30... We are in front of the restaurant and it is closed.... an hour early it is closed... I called and confirmed to make sure they would be open... But no they were completely empty with no customers... We then went next door to El Dante... Open to the times posted and delicious. Thank you for changing our birthday plans. Looking like you are not good enough to stay open regular hours.

Been here multiple times with family when they are in town. Food and service are always both excellent!

Came here with my wife and 2 kids and asked to be seated at my preferred outside table that sat 4 people. Guy tells me hed like to keep that table for 5 people and seats us somewhere else. 5 mins later i see 3 ladies are sitting at that table of 5. Then we decided to at least try the food. The mussels we ordered were not edible and tasted too fishy, the shrimp we ordered cost $14 for literally 3 pieces, and the lobster bisque was way too salty. This place needs a new management.

We were seated at a great outside table. Our server, Gregory was so attentive. My husband had a Brandy Manhattan and said he said as good as he makes. I had a craft beer. We had clams & mussels in wine, have had better. My husband had the halibut special with red potatoes and steamed vegtable. Yum. I had shrimp Alfredo that was the best Alfredo sauce. Really enjoyed. We split Cannolis that were so good. This is Downtown Palm Springs, our table overlooked the sidewalk. Very nice setting. Price$$$ $20- 45.

We were glad to find Riccios was open for lunch on Sunday. The food was O.K. but the New York steak was almost all gristle but the fries were great. I had the Paella. I know there are thousands of recipies for it, but I never have seen one like this. The meats and seafood were fresh but it was like in tomato soup with way over cooked rice, little if any saffron. No peas,no beans, no bell peppers, just tomato soup. The menu looked good, however, Im not sure if we are going back.

We chose a table outside to enjoy the weather, which I dont recommend given that it felt like we are in the middle of a busy traffic intersection. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs, which was terrible. The Penne Vodka with shrimps was not bad though. Service was great, but overall I would not recommend.

Last night at Riccios was an absolute delight to the tastbuds! We had fresh salmon and the other meal was sea scallops. Everything was cooked to perfection. Chef Danny and waiter Eric were wonderful to chat with too.

Honestly, this place was terrible. We were a group of 8 girls visiting from out of state and out of the 8 people, only one person didn’t hate their dinner. We made a reservation for 730pm on a Friday night and we were the only people in the restaurant, should have taken that as our first sign. Upon entering, the restaurant smelled so bad I didn’t think that I could sit through the whole dinner without getting sick. 4 of us ordered the $36 filet mignon which I promise you, was NOT actually filet mignon, it was chewy, over cooked and the knives were so dull you literally couldn’t even cut it. We each ate maybe 2 bites and the staff didn’t even question why none of us even ate our food. The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because I can’t give zero, and the waitress was fairly nice. Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else.

I would never go to this place again. Had an early dinner for 4 with my family. The food was OK, although they charged for a simple substitution. Service was OK. Then came the bill. With the gratuity already added. This was for 4 people, not a large party. No one was loud, obnoxious, drunk, or poorly dressed where they might think I would stiff them. They just decided it would be a good idea to end the dinner with an insult. Never again.
