We used Huntington for both our high school children (#2020, #2021) to improve their ACT/SAT scores. The goal was a specific score that was not unrealistic but would take hard work and study habits. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the teachers and professionalism of Huntington and all of the staff. Our children enjoyed their teachers (both in person and Zoom lessons), achieved their goals and our investment in tutoring will pay off immensely in scholarships and study/time management skills. Thank you to Krissy and all the teachers for always because so patient and encouraging.

I cant say enough to express how thankful we are that we found Huntington Learning Center when we did! If your student is still trying to qualify for Bright Futures you need to read this!My daughter was in the process of taking the SAT at the end of her senior year to qualify for her Bright Futures Scholarship when COVID-19 swept in and everything was cancelled. We were devastated at the thought of her losing her opportunity. A friend suggested we talk to Krissy at Huntington Learning Center about the ACT since they had not cancelled testing like the SAT had done. My daughter was not at all prepared for the ACT. She had only taken it once and put very little effort into it prior to getting started with Huntington. The tutors she worked with were amazing. They focused on bringing her up in the specific areas she needed and gave her strategies on how to approach the test. She was finishing high school and starting college (all online) while tutoring for the ACT via Zoom for about 8 weeks. It was a tough road but we are forever grateful that we invested in her and Huntingon. She finally did get her scholarship and can move on from all of the disappointments of being a senior in 2020 and on to bigger and better things as a USF Bull Class of 2024!! If your child needs help with standardized testing I highly recommend giving them a call. Thank You Huntington Learning Center!!

Kristy and all the teachers have been amazing. My son arrived there depressed, full of self doubt and with little hope that he would ever be able to succeed academically. He now smiles and is confident again that he will succeed. He made an A on his last Math test...something he never thought would happen. The support, guidance and patience of the staff and teachers at Huntington has changed our lives. We are so grateful.

I really can’t tell you enough how amazing this center is not only have they have two of my boys improved in school but they’ve gained confidence and really turned themselves around. Not to mention the staff is fantastic, they treat the kids like their own and really enjoy working with them to accomplish all the goals. Call Debbie she’s the best.

Krissy and the ACT coaches were amazing for us in the Palm Harbor, FL location. The hours were easy to schedule and the provided choices to meet our busy schedules. The curriculum was customized and effective. Not only did the ACT prep help my son raise his score by 11 points - but Krissys customized approach and communication with me is unmatched. I am so glad we signed him up.

My son started Huntington in February of 2016 and graduated from the program February 2017. He did exceptionally well, we are confident had it not been for Huntington he would have had a very difficult time passing 2nd grade.They are kind, they are compassionate and they truly want to see your child succeed. The staff is wonderful, you cannot ask for a better group of educators to work with your child. We are beyond grateful for the self confidence they have given him, he no longer feels academically behind his classmates. Thank you Terri and Staff!!

My son has been a student at Huntington for a year now, and the center has been a lifesaver for us. As an educator myself, I can say with confidence that the teachers at Huntington are some of the most dedicated and skilled teachers in this area. They are able to adapt their teaching styles to teach children who learn different ways. The teachers are truly invested in the students, and bring the best out in every child. Not only has Huntington helped my child do better in school, they have helped him gain confidence in himself. I did visit several other tutoring centers before signing on at Huntington, and I found Huntington to be have the best prepared teachers and the most indiviudalized instruction. I wouldnt send my son anywhere else.

Great experience. All the teachers and admin are easy to work with very accommodating and most important you see results. Terry and Krissy truly become invested in seeing your child not only do well but exceed their own expectations. I could not ask for a better team to get my child ready for the next level. My son started at Huntington with a ACT score of 21 he is currently a Jr at University of Florida, one of the toughest schools to get in. His score was 29! I have been approached by many other learning centers for my daughter, if it is not broken dont fix it. No way!!

I wish that I had started with Huntington four years ago when my daughter initially needed help with math. Instead, I tried to help her, and it only caused strain on our relationship. Now Huntington helps her with math. I can already see a difference in our relationship even though we just started tutoring. We are talking more and sharing and just being mother and daughter now and not tutor mother and student daughter.

I studied with these guys way back when I was a senior in 2011. Very professional crew that really cares about performance. They improved my math score (my weakest area) up to a 26, so I can definitely thank them for the scholarship I earned at a well-known 4-year public university. Would work with them again (and earlier in my high school career) again if I had the chance.

HLC was a great testing center for my son. He needed to complete an exam needed by the high school, and it was readily available by the center. The directors was very accommodating and scheduled the exam the very next day. The owner was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and professional when meeting my son and I on testing day. I felt very comfortable leaving him in their hands. Thank you HLC.

I thought this was the place for my son, however, I found out from my son he was bored and every day when he went in he would grab a book and sit down alone. Same thing 4 days a week. They told me he would also get 30 minutes of math each time and then he was told he would have to get there 30 minutes before or after his book session and thats not what we were told I went to Debbie many times about them not helping him with his math. I had another tutor also with math since Huntington wasnt helping 10 thousand dollars for tutoring....and they dont even get tutored. They sit down by themselves everyday with a book and the teacher will come around and check it periodically. My son and I decided that was enough so decided to stop going. Then Terri the owner is so unprofessional and kept telling me she would send me the paperwork, took 3 weeks of me asking and then it was a typed up email and since she was told about her being unprofessional she decided to refund less than what she told me 3 weeks prior. She decided to charge full hours since I cancelled my son did 139 hours out of 219. But its ok. I want going to write a review on how I really felt about this place until I had a run around getting the return of the balance left on my sons account I would really think about going someplace else where the kids do not tutor themselves. And for 10 grand for the program they shouldnt be teaching themselves ever. So investigate before using Palm Harbor Huntington

If you are thinking about going to this school, I suggest going to a different one. Huntington is all about making money. They underscore students by telling them theyre not grade level and they give special treatment to certain students. The school is ran by a bunch of con artists who discourage students. The school claims they offer the best education possible. Their education is a complete joke. They dont put students first and I just wanted others to be informed before making a decision about this school.

I have worked with Huntington on a professional basis for over 10 years, and even though I am now retired and my children grown, having seen on dozens of occasions the way Terri and her staff care and love their students like their own children, and can testify that if someone is looking for a tutor who cares more about their child in need than making money, they have found the right place!
