I LOVE this place. The whole team were fully invested in my kids progress from beginning to end. Highly recommended for sure. My daughter brought up her SAT just practicing with them by 70 POINTS in a matter of 2.5 months. Cant wait to see the real results when she takes the SATs again! Great team for support as well.

My son went through the SAT tutoring program at Sylvan and he raised his math scores 160 points and his reading 95 points! He really liked his tutors and Robyn was so helpful in explaining the process, making recommendations and scheduling. This location is really well run, with a great staff who get great results. As an added bonus, he actually liked going to his tutoring sessions. What more could you ask for!

As a Mom of a 3 boys, I was very frustrated with the current school my third child was in. They informed me last minute that he may fail the third grade and there was a possibility that he would be retained. I had heard from other parents in my neighborhood that Sylvan provides detailed instruction with a plan for success tailored to my child. I enrolled my child and within months he had shown great progress. Robyn and the staff are always friendly, encouraging and more than willing to go out of their way to help my child. My oldest son has had a hard time with writing for a long time so I wanted to give him an edge before he starts high school this year. Not 100% sure if it worked yet since school hasnt started but the one on one help has been really good for him. He has produced a few essays already and it they look much better than the work I saw in middle school. While he was in his one on one sessions, my youngest took the coding class. He loved it! Who would have thought learning was fun for a 3rd grader over the summer. To top it off, the staff has been great and very accommodating with my schedule. Hoping it all pays off this fall!

My daughter needed help with Honors Geometry. Steve is the best teacher ever! He even helped me pass the state of Florida Certificate test! He knows his stuff. He goes above and beyond to help all studets. Children and adults!!

My daughter enjoyed the 2 STEM camps this summer! She couldnt wait to attend everyday! The staff were really great with her, and they kept her engaged & she really liked the hands on activities & being able to see the outcome of her projects. The 3 hours were jammed packed with what the camp promised; science experiments, computer technology & math! We would definitely do this camp again! She was having fun & learning! Love it!

My son loved all of the tutors at this learning center! They all helped him find his highest point, and helped increase his self-confidence. Before sylvan, he may have had the knowledge, but he didn’t have the confidence. He feels much more stronger in English and Math, compared to what he felt before. Thank you to all of you!!

All 3 of my children attend Sylvan and it has been a great experience. We have tried most of the other services in the area and Sylvan is definitely the best. My kids enjoy attending their sessions, are rewarded for good work which they love, and the material they are learning is able to help them directly in the classrooms. The groups are small and every child has assistance available from teachers at any time. I have all levels attending, on grade level, above grade level and below grade level and the programs are individualized so each child is getting exactly what they need. The Director is always accessible and a formal conference is scheduled monthly but she is always available for questions or concerns. This is absolutely money well spent.

We have had great experiences for our daughter. Her sessions have improved her confidence and skills with test taking, reading, and writing. She looks forward to her time with Ms. Penelope and the other teachers, which has significantly improved home life by decreasing homework stress.

My son spent the last six months or so at Sylvan Palm Harbor. He was struggling in third grade and was getting Ds and Cs. He has started fourth grade off well this year thanks to all the great teachers there that took the time to care about him. He is going to get Honor Roll this first nine weeks and I can contribute it all to the Sylvan learning center in giving him the confidence he needed. He now loves Math!!!Thank you!!

Sylvan has been the positive educational influence needed for my student. My child has received the help needed and has benefited from their expertise. They continue to keep my child engaged and eager to keep coming back!

My daughter has been in Sylvan since the end of seventh grade for math. She is now ready to start Algebra 2 in high school and math is one of her best subjects! The quality of teaching at Sylvan is excellent and I like the fact that her progress can be easily measured through the use of their program, unlike private tutoring. They can revisit areas she is weak on, and check to see if she is retaining information she studied some time ago. I highly recommend Sylvan. Their teachers and staff are really friendly and caring . Two of my other children have been to Sylvan when they needed a little extra help in certain areas. It can help kids through the rough spots and to stay on track with their class with just a visit or two sometimes.

We love this place! My daughter is actually excited to come here and learn. The staff is awesome. Would highly recommend this location to anyone that needs a little extra help.

Sylvan Learning of Palm Harbor helped me achieve the needed score on my ACT to get accepted into the Coast Guard Academy, they also provided me with specific tutors to help me with the homework that I struggled with over my high school career. The tutors are like none other with their unique way of connecting with each student and helping them resolve problems and/or teaching students strategies for better test taking skills for SAT and ACT. A wonderful experience would be an understatement and I highly recommend Sylvan Learning of Palm Harbor to anyone in need of some extra assistance with their school work and to those who seek a higher education.

Ever since elementary school, Ive always had trouble on reading comprehension. I always got 3s and 4s on the FCAT Reading, never getting a 5 a single time. After a few months working and practicing reading skills at Sylvan, I finally managed to score a 5 during my sophomore year in high school. Sylvan definitely helped me achieve this and Im glad I chose to take classes there. To anyone struggling with reading comprehension, Sylvan helps a lot, even for a high school student like myself.

Sylvan really helped me improve my Chemistry grade. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Tevin, in particular, has been my tutor and he has done an excellent job explaining the Chemistry concepts. I have gone from making very poor grades on the tests to making As and Bs!!!

We highly recommend Sylvan Learning Center of Palm Harbor. My daughter was frustrated, overwhelmed, full of anxiety and behind in math when we started our 48 hour program. She went from Ds to As, from being behind to being ahead and from HATING math to math being her easy subject. They kept her engaged, worked at her pace, and most of all, gave her the confidence she needed to realize she could do this herself. Three things set Sylvan apart in my mind: the passion, patience and kindness their teachers have for the students, the hands-on multimedia learning tools that keep the kids engaged, and most of all the self-paced, individual learning process that gave my daughter confidence by showing her how much she has improved and continually challenging her to keep going. Worth every penny and every minute we spent!!!!

My son was retained in 3rd grade this past school year due to his reading level. He is autistic and struggles daily with his reading, Knowing this was a problem I could not solve on my own I turned to Sylvan for help. The staff is amazing and they knew how to help my son where I could not. We have been going for only 8 weeks but I already see a huge difference. He reads everything to me now when we are out and about where he wouldnt before. He always looks forward to going to his sessions. He works very hard there and loves to earn his reward tokens. With the help he recieved at Sylvan he was able to pass the assessements required to be promoted into the fourth grade this summer! Im looking forward to this next school year and I know with Sylvan on our side there is nothing but success for my son in the future.
