Came in to buy a bunch of pool floats and was asked to leave because I didn’t have a mask on. We were the only two people in the whole store. Wake up!! Your a pool store, you don’t serve food and hardly come in close contact with any other people. I will never come back here. They support.... Don’t think for yourself, just put a mask on.

I feel like I was lied to even when I knew what I was talking about. To raise alkalinity I said I would put baking soda in. I was told no, to use Alkalinity Up. I bought it put it in the pool and just looked at the label! It says sodium bicarbonate. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is I didnt follow through with my instinct. I believed someone who is supposed to be knowledgable. $20 plastic bucket of baking soda!
I had to get pool water checked. Leslies has a new system that checks your water digitally. It seems very fast and as far as I can tell very accurately.

I walk in and there is one customer being helped at checkout. Another customer is talking to an employee on the side with a third employee just standing with them and nodding. Same employee just looks at me goes to the register then goes back to stand with the other employee. No hello no be with you in a minute. Nothing. After 5 minutes of the ignorance I just walked out the door and went to Pinch a Penny. Customer service is everything.
Young guy couldnt care less to assist us with floating chlorine tablet dispenser...when hibby asked for an upgrade to the cheaper model he brought us, the clerk was less that interested to comply. We asked if the more expensive version was a good choice...he replied, I dunno, I dont have a pool! Wow, great salesman!! Short drive to Leslies was in order (esp the Dunedin Leslies!)
Worst customer service I walked around there for a while wasn’t even a knowledge to the only other customer in there was just talking to the employee as I stood in line and finally another employee came out to help me but he was too interested in the other employees conversation to even acknowledge me either. I said have a nice day and he just walked away to have a conversation with the other person

Customer service could be a lot better. This company doesnt care about our community. I used to love Leslies but ill find another pool store who cares about helping instead of trying to make a quick buck.
Staff here is always helpful. Expertise will increase depending on who is there that day. Lots of chemicals, and they will help with any pool maintenance and would be happy to sell you a new pump or filter.
Go to the store on west Hillsborough. Its worth the drive. Mandy, the store manager there fixed my pool cleaner in moments with one part after these guys tried six different times (and parts) and even didnt put it back together right by forgetting some pieces. They knew they forgot the part right after I left the store but didnt bother calling me so left me to find out when I turned the system on. By then it was after hours.
Suzy, the store manager, was so helpful while I was there. I would definitely recommend this store. Not owning a pool or spa for awhile, Suzy answered all my questions. I did not even need to purchase anything at the time. Ill definitely be using this store for a long time.
Called and placed an order on Monday to have a pool pump motor replaced. I was told the earliest that a technician could come out was on Friday between noon and 5:00pm. I waited all afternoon on Friday, but no one ever showed up. I called the store at 5:00 to find out if anyone was coming. I was told by the person who answered the phone that she would call me back in 15 minutes to let me know what was going on. 30 minutes later, no one called, so I called her back again. She seemed surprised that no one had called me, as she spoke with the service department and was told that one of them would call me. At that point, I told her to cancel my order - if their reliability is that bad, I would have no confidence in the quality of their work.
I am there twice per week and the staff couldnt be nicer. Susie the manager is always attentive and accommodating. All the workers there are knowledgeable and always helpful.

I had been brushing the walls of my pool for months with no luck in combatting the algae.Every employee said brush and use phosfree. Totally disgusted, I went in the other day and the tech said, Have you tried an algaecide? Seriously, not one employee had ever suggested I try that. Well hallelujah, no more algae. The employee that was so helpful is now my hero. My pool hasnt looked this good in a year! Her name is Suzy and she works in the Palm Harbor, Fl store. From here on out she is the one I will go to to troubleshoot any future problems with my pool. Thanks so much Suzy♥

The lady over there worked me out by grabbing stuff here and there from the shelves cause I sounded desperate because my pool was green, she told me that her chemicals ONLY works with her her shock bags which is double the price anywhere else. I ended up paying $69 plus tax.I followed the instructions without any improvement in my poolI went back to return one item supposed to use it to clear the water latet still sealed but been told no retired on chemicals!!!!
Figured Id try somewhere new than my usual place I go to (pinch a penny) which is not far from here..I was at a store next to leslies..it was convenient so I went here. Walked in..waited 5 minutes for someone to come from the back room and begin to stare at me like she had better things to do than help me and watched as I walk through the store obviously looking for something, not knowing where it was. Finally says to me in the most I dont want to be here attitude to say to me can I help you find something? Yeah no kidding women. I was taking care of someone elses pool and didnt know too much about pools and when I asked a question she answered it like I was an idiot. Rude RUDE customer service. Prices could be better. Ill go back to pinch a penny .2 mile away. Theyre much nicer and more helpful with everything and welcoming into their store. Theyre on the same side of U.S 19 anyways!
Sales driven store. Employees jump on customers to push sales of new equipment instead of listening to what they are actually there for. Horrible customer service when they make a mistake. Probably going out of business soon.
