I was late turning in my car at the planned 9 am. My plans were interrupted by my phone charger going out and having to find a place in some unfamiliar town to provide me with a replacement charger. I received an email from the Enterprise office about my informing them of my late arrival. Thats my first complaint. How about giving me the direct number when I sign up for the car. Calling the 1 800 number is frustrating. After about what seemed like ten minutes of voice prompts I was informed that there was no office in Plum Harbor. (I was trying to contact Palm Harbor)The next was that the office message to me did not specify that their closing time on Saturday was 12 noon. When I messaged them back that I was on my way and it would be 2 pm when I arrived there was no response. They indicated that I might be able to turn the car into another location but I knew that there would be a penalty for doing that. I was charged for Saturday and Sunday and arrived 8 am Monday.

The staff are wonderful and accommodating.Reservations are a bit more difficult, I went through the Enterprise website to do my reservation and had no trouble.My recommendation is show up early to your pickup time and check in.Pricing is not too bad, the experience overall was great. They even dropped me off near my destination.Living up to their name on customer service.Thank you.

Family went on a weeklong vacation. Got to enterprise and they upgraded us to a larger-which we needed-brand new vehicle at the same fee. As I had to be at work that week and couldnt go I felt secure knowing that my family had a partner on the road with them-just in case.Great SUV, great service and great Company.

The reservation system is terrible, DO NOT TRUST IT. I reserved online 3 times, received a confirmation that they had the cars available only to find out the rental center did not have them. I was on my way to pick up the car before closing and received a call they did not have the car, I had to cancel my trip. the same with the other 2 reservations confirmations, they had the car, called to get a ride to the rental center only to be told they do not have the car. Other than that which cost me 2 days of canceling my agenda, they are good. I like the pick up feature, and the rates are competitive.

I understand that there is a charge for the tolls that are used the two of them but to add on a $10 service charge is just ridiculous. They have no sunpass connections in the car and there is no way to stop and pay them. They should probably get with the 21st century just a heads up

Austin who works At the satellite site was amazing ! Dropping off ur car for body work is no fun but he got me in & out in 10 minutes ! He was nice and genuine and really seemed to care about me the customer ! Great customer service skills & explained everything to me clearly ! Absolutely terrible experience ever. I rented out a truck due to my car being in the shop. When I returned the truck I left a pair of shoes in there. When I called enterprise store they stated they have my shoes. I went over there to retrieve my item, and sat outside for an hour in a half due to the fact that they “misplaced” my shoes. Keep in mind these shoes are exclusive and worth over $200. I asked the general manager to review the cameras and he stated to me “ there is a lot of footage that needs to be reviewed “ and walked back inside. They he comes back out “ looks like someone might have left the lost n found storage unlocked over night sorry “ with no empathy at all. Keep in mind you can’t buy these shoes again due to the rare limited amount sold.. I never thought enterprise rental car would of steal someone’s personal belongings. Dwayne is the manager I spoke to at the store and I’m very disappointed with the way he handled the situation as almost as he didn’t care one bit.

Won’t take temp driver’s license. No exceptions. My state is backlogged due to COVID. A temp license is just as valid as the “real” thing. Not for these people. Good luck if you find yourself having flown in from out of state. A sorry is all you’ll get.

My mother in law rented a car and spoke with a representative and confirmed on the phone everything was set for the pickup. We went to pick it up at the designated time and they said the reservation was never confirmed and the car was not dropped off at the location as we had expected. While trying to get clarification on why the reservation was not confirmed there were several customer calls coming in and one of the staff behind the desk intentionally hung up on the calls on hold not once but twice. We didnt end up getting the car and were told we could go to the Tampa location to get it but didnt bother because we would not be able to make it to the Tampa location in timebefore they closed and no one from that office was picking up their phone. Was supposed to be our first time experience renting a car but cant recommend and will not be coming back to try and do future business.

If I could give 0 stars I would. From the beginning we had a horrific experience. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle it wasn’t there. It would arrive shortly and they would get it ready for us. Then they said we had to get proof of residency with zero explanation why. We went home and brought back what we had. These documents were not satisfactory to management. At this point their comment was “we don’t know that these bills have been paid”. Mind you we presented them with a signed lease, utility bill and valid drivers license. In all honesty voices were raised at this point. The manager presented himself in the parking lot, bowed up to my husband, got up in his face (with no mask on I might add) and told him to back up. Never have we been treated with such disrespect.

I rented this car at the Palm Harbor Florida office and returned to the Orlando Airport. I have never had any issues renting from Enterprise but this time around there was a couple issues that should have been avoided. Upon renting the car I was told I was getting a nice upgrade which it was. I was sent out in a car that had an empty fuel tank. So right at the start I had to find a gas station which was very inconvenient. Back on the road I saw a cop ahead and almost had a heart attack when looking at my speedometer and saw I was doing 60 in a 36mph zone. Turns out I was given a car with the speedometer that only read in Kilometers per hour. I had to stop and find an app that would let me know how fast I was going in miles per hour. Not sure why I was rented a foreign car, but that should never have happened, or at least told when given the keys to the vehicle, but did learn a lesson for this experience. Upon returning the vehicle, I had to make sure I was not charged as the agent was confused why I didnt want to be charged for returning the car not fully fueled up. Even telling him its in my contract that it was given to me empty he was trying to charge me for not filling up. He then understood after a bit that I had no fuel at the start and he did not charge. This experience has me thinking of going back to another company I used for a long time before using Enterprise as my go to company.

The staff at this Enterprise location in Palm Harbor is top notch and extremely professional. What was a nightmare with my car involved in an accident and taken to Joe Hudson Collision nearby gave me peace of mind knowing that all would be well with my rental vehicle from a Enterprise. The friendly lady picked me up at the auto body shop promptly, brought me to Enterprise, and she took care of all the paperwork that is to be billed to Progressive, and she put me in a brand new 2021 Toyota Rav 4 that has an interior that is very clean. I feel better knowing that while my car is getting fixed, I have a safe and reliable vehicle to get me to work and back home every day. I even opted to take the vehicle protection coverage as well. Kudos to Enterprise in Palm Harbor.

Enterprise was arranged for me by my insurance company. I couldnt be more happy with the service provided. I was picked up from the Collision Center and a car was ready for me when arriving. Associates were outside with tablets and assisted customers quickly. Vehicle was clean and well maintained. Only complaint is the big bulky key ring provided.

Ive rented from this location several times, The branch manager PJ has always made sure my experience renting from Enterprise was good. Today My banks fraud department flagged my card when he tried to run it 5 minutes before closing and he waited for an hour after the store closed while i was waiting to get through to my bank so that i had a vehicle to leave there with. All the employees at this location have been great probably because of the great leadership. Thanks again!

So I called Enterprise 2 weeks ahead of time to reserve a car in Palm Harbor Florida. I went to pick it up on my lunch break and the guy tells me that I cant leave my car there. I have always left my car there! I told him that I live 40 min away and I have No one to drive it so he told me to take it across the road and park it in the Publix parking lot. I said to him what if it gets towed and he said they would cover the bill. I drove my car over and he picked me up and then went back to enterprise. After I got to work about 15 min later I called that enterprise and asked for a manager. I told him what just happened and he said for me to move my car and take it home. Well thats not an option because right after work I was headed on my trip and I was going the opposite direction. I ended up getting a friend to get it and take it to there house. They also told me to insure the car through them and it would be 20.00 a day, well it wasnt it was 23.00 a day. They also gave me a car that was half full. He said either bring it back half full or on empty. Our gas is 1.80 a gallon. I was like well thats a no brainer I will leave it empty and it will be maybe 5 or 6.00 but noooo they said it was 13.00. Im like what???? They are a rip off and liars at this enterprise and I will never go there again!!

Was in and out pretty quick when picking up my rental so customer service was was nice. But wasnt very satisfied with the car. Was a little small. Was also told upon arrival Id probably be getting something else they had on the lot, not what they gave me. So that was a little disappointing. Only needed for a couple days so not the end of the world but had I needed it longer it would have dampered my vacation to be disappointed like that.

Unhappy.. Went with nephew and they would only take a credit card with his name on it or a debut card. Had to go get the debit card.. My house to get cash and then put in his bank and then returned to business... Sat fir over a half hour outside then he was told an extra $300 deposit was required... I had not put that extra in his account ... Upset all was not stated at time of reservation... We left .. Went to hertz. Got a car with 5 minutes for less!!! Last time we GI to enterprise.

My friend had a 3pm reservation at this location. She was 10 minutes late. They did not allow any customer in their building and sat customers in the parking lot, in the wind, on a cold day. 40 minutes she had to wait because they couldnt be bothered to have the car prepped before she arrived. Talking to other customers, this is par for the course at this location. Stay away from Palm Harbor Enterprise unless you enjoy waiting because your reservation wasnt important enough for them to prepare.

I love enterprise. I get in and out very fast. Always a nice car. All the employees are there to help. We had to wait outside because of the corona virus but it was a short wait time. I normally have a reservation but this time I didnt and I was still in and out in less than 30 mins.

Ive decided to leave them alone after the first screw up, but now I cant stay quiet.1. Made a reservation via their website. Came at the time of reservation - no truck. Said they just got one back and it will take 30-45 min to get it cleaned. I didnt have 30 min to spare so asked them to move this reservation to the next morning. Arrived exactly as promised - no truck. The one arrived a day before was rented out. I point my finger to other 2-3 similar size trucks but response it these are reserved so we cant rent them out. Didnt want to proceed with this BS, went to airport and took much nicer car than Enterprise ever offered from Sixt. Had it for 28 days, returned to airport and2. gave Enterprise another chance and rented from them again. Dropped it off to this Palm Harbor location. Brought it back after hours. My wife forgot her phone in a glow box compartment. It was right there between manual and whatever other book is there. Called them 9am in the morning, asked to go and check the phone. not there they responded. Go and check again I say because I know its there. Its not responded the guy again. The next day a message from iCloud indicates that someone in Miami trying to get access to our apple ID. I wonder how did that happened?Called them. Went to airport location again. Go to police they said.Never again Im coming back here...

If I have a choice to give a zero I would ! This place is a scam . After return back the car they temped to charge me a cleaning fee which was pending onmy card for 120. When it’s posted they actually charged me 240. Never emailed me any receipt. I missed the call they made and called back three times no one picked up the phone. No voice mail available. Okay. That’s just a beginning of it. After almost a month they charged me 23 dollars toll fee .okay there might have been once I probably drove somewhere with a toll. After another week they charged me 158 for a toll again ! After that long ? Seriously? When I drove my own car I had no tolls at all, everyday same route just for work, didn’t drive anywhere else then when I drove rental from this place yea god knows how many tolls I got ? This place is ridiculous.

Very nice staff. They explained everything to me in detail so I did not leave with any questions. Was able to extend my rental without any issues. They even called to check on me a couple of times to see how I was enjoying the car and to ask if I needed anything. When I returned the car a day early they were able to accommodate me with a ride home almost immediately. They certainly do know how to treat people right and make them feel welcome.

They were actually very good here. I was very impressed with the speed of the transaction, from walking in the shop, until walking in the vehicle was super fast and easy. It was a breeze. The girl there was very friendly and professional. I even received a follow up call from them, which I then addressed a small snafu or error if you will. That rep called me 2 more times and was relentless until it was cleared up! So, good for them for pushing the envelope when it comes to customer service. Because, honestly, truth is that we have really lost quality control in so many aspects. So. When I see this, it really has me feeling like it is completely gone. The last star unfortunately is for the price. For one day, I do not see any reason to charge almost as much as the vehicle itself just for insurance.Insurance is a just in case situation, and should be charged at 8.99 a day or something like that. 22 is a bit high and so thats where the 4 stars come from. Otherwise, keep up the good work !

Then I called the main office and he became even more difficult to deal with. Worst experience every.

My daughter was in a car accident - the repair shop said it would take under 30 days to fix... well, they were wrong - in total it took 61 days. Every time they said it would be done, it wasnt, so I extended my car rental for another week,. Merrick, Michael and Carol were wonderful. Every Friday, I would talk with one of them, and they extended the contract quickly, easily and with ease. They made the entire rental the best experience as they were understanding and helpful. And especially during this COVID 19 scare, they made everything easy and non-stressful. Rent from them, if not for anything else, they will make the rental a pleasure.

They rent substandard automobiles. Not new, unserviced, unmaintained, unsafe, bottom line. They promise you deals and then won’t honor them. Avoid enterprise if you can. They will smile in your face with a hand in your pocket. Rental number 97XZSG. I’m a local, have rented from them for years, never coming back. Telling all 11,900 of my social media contacts. You had every chance in the world to do the right thing and didn’t. Criminals.

It appears to be clean and vacuumed, but what I noticed is that the dashboard, handles on all sides of the van are so dusty reason why I have to wipe it using a Clorox wipes that turned out dark brown color after wiping it, No wonder we found out a piece of cloth or wipe for us to use From enterprise which made me think “we vacuum you wipe it.” Specially during this pandemic it needs to be wiped before they let people use it.

The price I was given over the phone was not the price at the time of pick up. I had to pay more. The first suv I was given reeked of marijuana, soon as we open the door the smell was horrible. Being that I was taking a road trip with my 70-year-old mother and two small children that was unacceptable. They shouldn’t try to put a customer in a vehicle that smells like that. If I could smell it when the door opeNed then the person who details the cars and also check the cars upon arrival should have smelt that as well. I was very upset that I paid more than the price I was quoted and an employee tried to put me in a car that reeked of marijuana. I have used enterprise so many occasions I’ve had good days and I’ve had bad days. It’s like a coin toss dealing with their employees.

The lady at the desk was really Nice and tried to accommodate me as much as she could. Rental car was still kind of dirty, tank was under 3/4 full, and only had a choice between a small car or p/u truck.The individual who does the detailing of vehicles need to do a better job. Also there were 2 small scratches on outside of back passenger door. Was going to give 3 stars but the lady was so nice decided to do 4. I got so nervous I took pics of car when i got home for proof when it gets returned.

Update: I want to thank the palm harbor staff, especially PJ for seeing my family and I though a challenging time. The last vehicle got us to NYC successfully. Things are a mess in the city so returning the vehicle was another challenge and the 57th Street staff is far from nice. As far as management at palm harbor goes it’s 5 stars but the vehicle and enterprise itself only gets a 2I rented a vehicle for an emergency trip from Florida to NYC. The first vehicle I was given had a mechanical issue and the trunk would not open. They provided me with a second car Which was worse than the first one. I reached The state of Virginia and was in the interstate North 95 bound where the speed limit is 70, all the vehicles around me were going 75 to 80mph when all of the sudden, the second vehicle I was provided, had an engine light come on and began to stall. From 75 to 28mph in seconds and we were almost hit from behind, the Virginia police happened to be across south bound side. I pumped the brakes until I was able to get into the right lane right before a truck weigh station and called 911. The police was able to escort me as the vehicle slowly moved into the weigh station. I called enterprises roadside assistance and enterprise, they said they would send a tow truck or uber. 2hours later the tow trucks claimed they couldn’t find the weigh station (despite my sharing my location from my phone) then an uber arrived And it was too small for all our luggage and two pets and a disabled mom. After six tow companies unable to find my location and 4 calls to roadside they determined they could not help me, so the Virginia police got their towing company to an enterprise. The airport enterprise had no vehicles and quatico enterprise also had no vehicles, dumfries also had no vehicles and had not been contacted by roadside as I had been informed. By the grace of god, a man returned his large suv early and it was give to me. No one from enterprises cared and had it not been for Virginia PD would still be stranded and paying for more hotels, unnecessarily, at our own expense for something that was not our fault. Almost $700 and lost time, and no apologies. I am so disappointed in enterprise. Kay from Dumfries, and Virginia was great and PJ was a true leader and helpful the entire time, even this was a horrible first time experience. If it had just been me in the car, that would be one thing but my family was in that car and that could have been a fatal accident on the hands of enterprise. All interactions with roadside assistance and Virginia police were recorded. Thank you Virginia Police Department and state troopers for being their for my family and I understand that vehicles can have Mechanical issues but this was a long trip and it seemed like I got a run around, no one came to tow us despite having paid for roadside assistance.Update: I had the vehicle until July 30th. Due to the fact that the car broke down I wasn’t able to return the vehicle on July 29th by 2 the way wanted to (which would have been an early return) and had to pay manhattan parking and return the 30th. I was due to return the 30th by 3pm and I return at 10am. I went to return on East 40th and due to the pandemic the site no longer accepts vehicles, I then called west 57th street and was told that I could not return there, but finally accepted the return. When I got home the what was supposed to be $696.45 became $1000 with additional changes of 285.97. Also paid for roadside assistance and they were never able to help me.

WARNING DIRTY CARS and the area manager doesnt care!!I rented a car from this location in effort to avoid flying and contact with other people due to covid. The car I rented was dirty from the start which the agent noted. Dirty windows, it clearly wasnt even vaccumed. Also the TPMS light was on, I was told sorry we dont have a gauge but it should be good. I was taking a 22 hour trip home so before I left I had to vaccum the car and pump up the tires on my own. No big deal but I figured Id let a manager know.I had to go out of my way multiple times just get a hold of the manager to address the issue with Lee Rebimbas, which really didnt care or even act like he cared. Told me he would tke care of my next rental which I didnt think I would even need.When next time came around, Lee Rebimbas did evreything he could do ignore me, dodge me. including blocking me.Not the end of the world but at least you can be professional about it.

Really poor costumer service during covid 19 pandemic. I rented a car and show up to pick up the car and I was told I can get a car because I have a temporal license and the DMV has been close due to the virus issue. I call on the phone yesterday and I was told I can use my temporary license. The guy will not even allow me speak to a manager and wasted my time waiting outside for nothing. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. Manager (Johnny) of this location is absolutely terrible. However every other employee has been stellar. Lee the other manager seems to be extremely responsive. After reading the last 6 months of bad reviews it’s clearly a trend and I am hopeful for new leadership. Enterprise as an organization is great. This location is far from great and it’s due to the poor leadership with Johnny.

My car insurance company rented my car. However, here is the problem tolls! Enterprise tacts on a $3.95 fee for each toll. A Word to the wise get your own SunPass and make life easy for yourself. For example if you travel through five tolls the fee will be $19.75 plus the toll fee. However, with your own pass or link the rental car tag to your Sunpass and remove the car tag when the car is returned could save you a few extra bucks. Also, you would only pay the discounted toll fee. For example $1.50 toll cost .56 cents. Do the math and save yourself the drama. Also, just like a disclaimer concerning gas a disclaimer should be advised concerning tolls. Especially if you travel and live in Florida and you need to rent a car. Enterprise has no plans on sharing this information with you so that you can make an informed decision about how you should pay for tolls. Other wise consider Enterprise action as deceptive business practices. Btw, this only applies when no one is at a toll booth to collect the money. Otherwise you can pay to toll fare. My drama occurred during Covid-19 and all of the toll booths were unman and I was forced to use Sunpass.I read a few other google reviews about this Enterprise, and the rental car I was given as it relates to this review was dirty inside and out and the car smelled like dog. ijs

If you dont have a credit card and just have a debit card forget it / even if they tell you otherwise on the phone (unless of course you have proof of residence with your name on it). This place was extremely disappointing. After talking with their national rep, and getting dropped off there, they were powerless to do anything to help me rent a car to visit my 93 year old mom.

Enterprise customer care I’m writing to you because I have a complaint against one of your stores. I rented a car from enterprise and extended it over the phone. I had work done to my car and needed extra time. Well my card declined and they needed a new card on file so the guy asked me if I can come in to updates my card info. I said yes and he said it will take a few minutes. I get there to update the card info and but I didn’t bring the rental I was in my car that I just picked up from the dealer. I needed the rental cause more work had to be done so I was putting back in the shop. When I got there they question me on where the rental was and why I’m not driving it. He also made faces like I did something wrong. Everything just looked funny like they had an issue. Two people questioned me on where was the rental. I asked both guy what’s the issue and both came up with excuses that didn’t make since but the ended up extending my rental. As I walked away to get in my car I thought I don’t have to deal with that type of treatment and walked back to the store and told them to cancel the extent and refund me the money. I also told them I would bring the car in tomorrow to go rent from somewhere else. This kind of treatment should not be tolerated. I don’t like to be questioned like I did something wrong or a criminal that shouldn’t be renting a car. The guy tony Wells need to work on his customer service skills. I also called for district manager number and the name of the guy that talked to me. I was told that I would get a call back but no call was made about my treatment at one of your stores.

We were in an automobile accident and rented an automobile from Palm Harbor, FL Enterprise. The original transaction was for a 13 day rental for $941.00. This included a $200 refundable deposit. We returned the car two days early and were asked if everything was correct on the bill and I told the young woman that it was not. We were returning the car two days early and I would not be paying for the entire 13 day rental. She tried to give me some song and dance about weekly rental, which was not true and after a long winded dispute, she called a higher power who allowed her to give us the correct charge of $657.00. We agreed to the amount and returned the car. The next day I checked my bank account and it was overdrawn. The young woman at the Palm Harbor, FL Enterprise had made a new transaction so now there were two pending transactions. One for $941 and one for $657. I called my bank and they told me I could not dispute until they both posted. I called Palm Harbor, FL Enterprise and was told in 24-48 hours the account would close and everything would be corrected. Well now the $657 has posted, Enterprise has been paid and I have $941 unusable dollars still pending in my account. I again called Enterprise and the young man I spoke with tried to tell me the problem is on my banks end. I explained once again that I spoke with the bank and when I told him that two separate transactions had been pending and one posted, he replied with an Oh, I will have to send this to the accounting department, but dont worry it will all be worked out. He did not give me any time frame just an apology. I have not had $941.88 available in my account for 13 days and now I have had an additional $657 taken by enterprise. I dont know how many people can afford to have an extra $941 unaccounted for taken from their monthly budget but it is difficult for me. Especially since we were in a serious accident and I have been out of work due to a fractured spine. This is an additional onus that is difficult for me to bear at this time. An apology is just not good enough!

I made a reservation the week prior to my pick up day. When I called for a ride on my pick up day, I was informed that they did not have any cars available and it would be at least three more hours until they could come and pick me up. Realizing that its Spring break season and things are busy - this is why I made a reservation ahead of time. Apparently, it doesnt matter if you make a reservation as they still may not have your vehicle available. In fairness, I will say that they ended up picking me up within a couple of hours rather than the longer waiting period they had originally indicated, and offered a percentage off for the next rental. It usually runs much smoother than it did this past time.

Ben at the Palm Harbor Branch was awesome! Not only did he get me in and out, but he made me feel like we always knew each other. I left my car at the brach, he was so concerned that he told me to move it to the other side so no one would back into it or bump it. Man this guy was great! If Enterprise keep people like Ben, they will always be second to none in business. Most people get on here and say nice things about a person because they know them, but I am speaking from experience. Ben was so nice, my last words to him were, thank you for the help and I have found me a new location! :)

Always had great experience renting cars. Clean. Also they returned the camera I forgot which was amazing customer service and made me very happy that day because I never would have remembered to check that part of the car. They always have nice clean cars and they always have everything I need with no hidden fees or charges and if we ever need to rent a car again we always will come here because we have always had a seamless experience with no problems and the customer service absolutely number one. I really like this place and recommend it highly to anybody who has rental car needs.

Good experience overall. The people at both Enterprise Car Rentals on US19 in Florida were polite, helpful and friendly. My only complaint would be the exterior condition of the car. It should have been washed and cleaned up before it was released to the public. Other then that the car ran well and seemed to be in good mechanical condition. I Would recommend this cpmpany.
