If you think $20 per month to stay healthy is too much, you need help. For $20 you can go to any PF in the country AND bring friends. While my friends go to all sorts of doctors, I go to the gym. If you have the time....go. If you dont have the time, get up early and make the time. Ive visited as a guest PFs in south Fla, Mass, NY, and NH. All the gyms meet high standards and the employees and the people who go there are all really nice and respectful.

Clean, spacious, the TVs help us pass time during time consuming cardio, and the locker rooms are extremely well kept and in order - a rare occurrence in society anymore. Palm coasts club has been our best experience.

Theres always staff cleaning the floors and equipment! Friendly staff and the manager makes sure this location, her club,is well maintained! The locker room smells cleaner and better than ever! Im highly impressed!

First time there in 15 months. Felt safe with no mask as i am vaccinated. Staff clean machines on regular basis. It was good to be back. 1130am to 1230pm work out. Few people there so social Distancing not a problem.

Very clean, great personality, tons of great equipment, kind staff, the Black Card Spa has a decent selection though not very big. Ive only caught this site on one shift each time but have been through a few times already and each time the staff has been pretty helpful and sociable enough when needed.

Equipment needs to be updated and it is a smaller location. Mask wearing is not enforced at all. Feels like a covid trap. I bicycle an extra 25 minutes to go to the location near Flagler airport. Much cleaner, updated, and more space.

Staff doesnt know what they are doing. Everything I goto use the massage chairs its a different story. The music is so loud have to turn up my headphones all the way.

Having been a black card guest for over a week in north Carolina I joined myself as a black card member before my Trip down to palm coast to visit my uncle for a few weeks. But unfortunately unlike my experience in NC where I was allowed as a guest to use the hydro massage chairs and red light therapy booths apparently this location operates differently. A national brand with inconsistent business practices is a major disappointment.The Main reason I joined in addition to improving my health was to have fun motivating my uncle working out while visiting him, keeping him motivated since he belongs to a local gym and showing him the great amenities of PF. What a major disappointment. Sad part is both times the gym wasnt busy with plenty of chairs available. I hope my upcoming trip to ny to visit my brother doesntend up the same way paying for a membership with amenities that cant be fully utilized is not a good feeling, all I can do is share my experience with the local community, thankfully I can do it in two languages. Addy least the staff was friendly and empathetic tio my unique situation with traveling

My friend was already working out, I asked if I could work out just for this morning, be back with my check book later. It was a no. Felt bad for my friend who had to leave. Largest gym in our town. Has a lot of equipment. Free weight area, has enhanced facility ( for additional charge per month) of water massage and sauna room. Would score this at 5 stars, but some of the staff are more interested in their cell phones than emptying the waste cans and restocking machine wiping solution and paper towels. Limited interaction between staff and customers. Not once in a few months have I been approached by staff asking if all is good. Nothing.

It’s not a bad location, people who go here are typically good about cleaning after themselves. My only issue is the size of the location for the amount of people that go. It’s way too busy almost every time I go which makes it hard to follow a workout routine. Cardio machines cover most of the gym and there’s only a handful of machines with a few free weights for weight lifting. What they have is good, they just need a bigger location with more weight lifting options since it’s always too crowded.

Edited review: Terrence at the new location fixed me up. A staff member even started his shift early to train me. Planning ahead is a little stressful for me because I care for a loved one

SCAM: Signed up for 1 year commitment and they charged me for two years. I live two hours away. Customer service was rude and constantly talked over me at a high volume. I know gym memberships are notoriously scammy but avoid Planet Fitness, it’s the worst.

Okay. So I have some things here. Planet Fitness I dont like, theyll trap you into keeping your membership with late fees (you cant cancel unless you pay them) and corporations in general are awful. But the employees? Some of the kindest people. I was helped by two women and they were so kind! Honestly the five stars are just for them.

Since covid reopening,the machines are in disrepair... they are old wobbly noisy... especially stationary bikes...staff are friendly and helpful, but perhaps issue is ownership/management???Your response doesnt really answer the issue. Why dont you maintain the equipment of late?????

Decent place to work out that is not generally packed. The only things that could be improved would be for gas of black Card members to be able to utilize the Black card zone, and for the Hydro beds to run for 10 minutes instead of 7 as other Planet Fitness facilities run theirs for 10 minutes.

The only reasons I go here are that theyre cheap and they have 1 piece of equipment I want to use. Otherwise, theyre very stingy, and dont provide adequate protective gear for that one machine, or even clean drinking water unless you buy it. However, the staff did answer my questions helpfully when they could, and they say theyre open 24/7.Added in response: I DID mention these things to the staff. They said there were no plans to correct any of the problems I pointed out to them. The best they could do was suggest workarounds. I put 400 pounds on the bench/squat machine (and will be putting much more on as time goes by); the bar is by no means a sharp object, but it drew a light line of blood from one shoulder, across my back, to my other shoulder, even with all three pads in place. The pads you have are barely better than nothing.I also had to stand on weights to get into the proper position because the notches are too far apart. This actually worked better than I thought it would, though.

Im not sure why all the bad reviews, Ive belonged to several gyms including two other PFs in other states. This gym is Always clean, staff friendly, loads of equipment. It really is $10 a month so yes youre not receiving lots of personal attention but youre also not paying for it. Staff has always been very friendly if I ask for anything. First time gym goers may benefit from a personal trainer to learn proper technique, equipment and workouts but who would expect that to be included for $10 a month.

I have been lifting weights regularly, 6 days a week, for four years now and been a member at multiple gyms. I am well educated in gym etiquette and I always respect their equipment and clean up after myself. I have never before been treated the way I have been today at the Planet Fitness in Palm Coast, FL. I have been doing my same routine here for weeks with no issue, until today after hearing multiple people slam their weights, staff decided to pull their alarm on me for slamming my 25 pound dumbbells and give me a warning. Shortly after pulling it two more times on other people then blaming me. And of course the manager who pulled the alarm decided to have his staff confront me rather than explaining himself to my face. That is until, I called him out for it and he overheard, thus kicking me out.

This place is extremely inconsistent and sometimes makes up their own policies depending on the people working. I have also witnessed with my own eyes the staff discriminate against minorities. This does not surprise me considering the location. Very disappointed in this planet fitness!!!! Of all the ones I have attended I would not recommend this one at all..would rather you drive to st Aug or Daytona for a better experience....

The machines are well maintained, youre usually not waiting for any particular one as long as you arent in a strict routine. I cant speak as to the free weights.The mens urinals typically have a puddle under them, but theyd probably have to have someone in there 24/7 to address that. Otherwise the staff is always cleaning and restocking the floor. They are friendly, there is only one bad apple and even she is polite untill you need anything other than checked in or signed up. There is a lot of turnaround with the staff, however.The morning crowd of customers a is polite and some even helpful. You wont see any judgment here.The only downside is there are no personal trainers here or much in the way of help, and you cant bring your own trainer in. I would suggest youtubing equipment operation, plenty of them out for Planet Fitness.

I just started coming here in the middle of the night which is perfect because I am a night owl. The staff is super helpful and attentive, they help with the machines and help me with the parts that I want to work on. It is awesome.

Got a refund on my first day, brought up an issue to staff that they obviously knew about as the first person looked at another and said its your turn.As I was checking out the manager requested to speak to me. He told me I failed to rack some weight. I informed him that I picked the weight up and placed right where I got it from and he told me he had cameras and hed review them. I told him good, then it will show him he is wrong.He then told me someone made a complaint about me...I MADE THE COMPLAINT!!! I walked outside and then turned around and asked for a refund because the experience was so miserable. They really know how to treat a guest on their first day.

I love the fact that the audience caters to those who would not normally go to a gym. I never knew that Planet Fitness was all about beginning and having a no judgement place to go to work out. What a great idea. Just wish their staff was a little more friendly. Whaddya gotta do?

Horrible customer service! I made it very clear that I was only in town for a week and that I would be canceling the membership once the project I was there for was completed. I was never told that the only way to cancel the membership was in person or by certified letter. I have memberships at my local gym and rock climbing gym. You can cancel both online. Its 2018, we have the technology! It should not be so difficult to cancel a membership, especially after it was made very clear what the situation was. At the very least, any and all conditions for canceling should be made abundantly clear to potential customers.

Beware giving out your bank info!!Repeatedly overcharged my debit card.Awfull customer service.Thy would not cancel my membership.I tried calling corporate office.They said nothing they could do because its a privately owned franchise.Go to Just fitness.Much better.

The 3 male staff that are currently in the facility are very juvenile and annoying. I had an issue with my account that still does not make any sense to me, each person spoke to including the assistant manger were very cynical and not their tone was not pleasing when speaking to me. When I asked for a number to call in regards to speaking with corporate, I was told that each facility is a franchise and I could only speak to the team I was currently speaking with at that moment, which was no help! It is a big inconvenience that they only have ONE trainer, and if you are not enrolled in his very limited classes you can not get assistance in working the machines because I asked and I was told they have descriptions and they are pretty self explanatory. There are also NO workout classes or anything offered at this location. There is not a single woman that works behind the desk or is a trainer, very discouraging and makes the gym seem male dominant. I will be traveling to the Daytona location next week, I hope it is not a unpleasant experience like the palm coast location! I cannot wait until my year is up, I will be looking for another gym!

A young lady named Auri, I think helped me sing up. She was very attentive, kind and informative. She also kept her professionalism as other customers were being impatient, she was working very hard to satisfy all of our needs in spite of her working by herself. Thank you young lady.

Joined yesterday went down to get my tag got a half hearted welcome:/. Wasnt shown around at all. was just told I was all set and a blank stare after I answered like 50 questions. Not impressed with the friendliness of the staff at all :(. I had to figure out where everything was and I got the premium membership they say lol

U can get exercise and not feel pressured or looked at like why are u here. Lots of machines to choose from and change what you want to work on.

Drama- filled staff, they rather talk to their friends then communicate with customers. No respect and very rude. They have no cell phone signs posted all over the gym, however people talk on their cell phones anyways.

I recently just joined planet fitness here in Palm Coast and you would think as a new member they would have someone show you around show you the equipment but they dont. I actually had to ask can someone show me the equipment and how some of it works and how to go about using it the staff is very unfriendly and does not interact with you doesnt come around and ask is everything OK are you finding everything OK is there anything I can help you with do you have any questions they dont advise you on any upcoming classes they are very impersonal at this place. You are very much on your own if it wasnt for the fact that its not costing me a penny out of my pocket they would never see me I would not belong to this place.

I’ve been a member for 4 years and never had a problem until yesterday. I brought my husband who is active duty military visiting for the holidays to work out. We knew we would probably have to pay for a day but $20 for 24 hrs?? Are we serious? That’s a months memberbship fee! Absolutely ridiculous.

The manager there, Grover M Scott, is an unconscionable manager. He accused me of doing something I would never do and when I complained to the Planet Fitness head office, instead of responding back like a real man, he just cancelled my membership. Just as well, its one of the worse run Planet Fitness around. Find a real gym in the area, one thats run by real professionals in this industry, not some flunky whos never used the equipment he so poorly maintains.

I am a member of P.F and normally use the close location on Old Kings Road just East of I95. I have had problems several times trying to use machines there. The problem... texting. I timed a girl on one leg machine tonite for over 27 minutes without doing a rep. Seriously. Headphones on texting sitting on the quad machine while the other one was broken. I asked two employees to do something about it because the last time I asked this same girl if I could use the same machine a month ago, She looked at me with her headphones on phone in hand and acted like I was doing something to vialate her. When I told two employees there, the response was’ yes she is allowed to text on our machines. They told me to ask her again. No way. I pay to use that machine. The employees should take care of that. I had a knee injury a few months back and am suppose to be using that machine to strengthen it. BTW there was another person that was waiting for her to get her a$$ off of it and go text somewhere else. I would never join there. ever. too much texting on machines and you may never be able to get your workout in. I wishn I had the option to vote 0 stars. Shame thet let this go on and on without fixing it. Join another club and do not waste your money there.

My experience at this Planet Fitness in Palm Coast can only be described as EXTRA-irdinary.Kayla helped me through an uncomfortable situation with compassion and tact. She even took it upon herself to contact my home gym in Illinois to help resolve the situation.Promote her.

Dont know why they have a staff cause they dont do anything. Billing practices are crazy. They dont bill, it is done by a 3rd party. I found this out the hard way. I had some fraudulent activity on my credit card so the credit company canceled that card and sent out a new one. It didnt occur to me that Planet fitness was using this card. I came in to work out and was told that my membership was cancelled and I would have to pay all kinds of fees on top of the money owed for back months. I was like, why wasnt I called or a note or something letting me know that there was a problem? I was told that they have nothing to do with billing. Staff was very rude and manager apparently has no power to make a company decision for herself. Of course you get what you pay for so dont expect a staff that cares one way or another whether you show up or not or if you do the exercises correctly. You are on your own.

Nice place, the only thing that some people dont clean their station for the next user and the staff should maybe look a little closer.

The front desk is so rude. I hate ever having to have any interactions with them. I quit going for awhile due to this but due to having a contract which i was never told of i have to go until it runs out, was told to...sign here. Sign here and then on my way then when i tried to cancel was THEN informed of the contract...lesson learned read the small print. If you are looking for real classes with a good amount of times this is not the place. The classes they do offer seem to be for those in shape and a limited schedule in looking to get in better shape. I really would like more class times and diversity in options so will be joining fittness one after my contract Is up. However the equipment is ok nothing state of the art but works

Clean place! Friendly staff. Somewhat helpful staff but if youre a 1st timer at the gym, going to the classes is your best bet for help there. They tell you the ropes but dont show you the ropes.

This place has the worst customer service. Nobody ever greets you, barely even acknowledges you as your standing there. All planet fitness equipment and facilities are the same anywhere you go. But will set a place apart is their lack of customer service, welcome to the Palm to Coast Planet Fitness.

Wish it were bigger. They dedicated so much room for cardio machines, areas for weights/weight machines feels really cramped, and if its busy, good luck using the machine youd like. Its fine though if you only do cardio.

One of the better PF I’ve been to - always clean, good selection of cardio and weight machines, and the layout is user friendly, unlike some other PF I’ve been to.

I canceled my membership because I got tired of going to a dirty gym. There is no excuse for dirty equipment, especially when there are 4 employees standing around at the desk talking football with the manager. Came from Planet Fitness in Shippensburg Pa which is spotless.

Need to build another gym in the palm coast area its like everyone goes their i have to wait hours just to used the Machines. it is very pack everyday i go to the gym no one has sympathy for other people to use the machines i am a pf black card member i have no clue why my guess cant use the massage chairs at other locates my guess us the massage chairs and also need to improve customer service

I have been a member for over three years. I love the place(work out four day a week).Staff are friendly and there is no pressure to proform.

Great gym with adequate equipment to get fit and in shape and plenty of amenities for black card holders.
