I also had a Groupon and I had no trouble at all. My experience was lovely. I called and they answered right away and were wonderful when I came in. The office was nice and clean and the room was very relaxing. My technician, Karin, was very sweet and did a wonderful job. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great facial.

I am so grateful to have found Laser & Beauty. Ive had multiple treatments done - all with amazing results, performed by highly professional staff in a comfortable and clean atmosphere. Living in Florida and being in shorts and bathing suits year-round without EVER having to shave ANYWHWERE has changed my life.

I am a recent Groupon user, and looking at the reviews I was a little hesitant but received the Groupon as a gift so decided to take a chance. It was very easy to make an appointment, and they were very accommodating on getting me in with my impossible schedule. When I arrived everyone was very nice, offering me drinks as I filled out paper work, and I got right in. The tech was very well education, explained the process to me. I left feeling educated and I have had fantastic result. I will definitely continue to go! Im not sure why those old reviews were so horrible, but i have sent in many of my friends and they all love the place!

Relaxing

I was a Groupon customer. A 45-minute Fire and Ice facial, billed as being a $145 value (snort), lasted a very perfunctory 35 minutes in a sparse, brightly lit, dentist-office-like atmosphere. The lady who did my facial berated me for having really clogged pores and not getting enough facials. Least relaxing, least pleasant facial Ive ever had.

Start to finish a bad experience.I was referred here by family friends to specifically see Stephanie.I was not informed Stephanie was not taking on new clients (hasnt for months), but still charged her rate. Stephanie treated me once and passed me on to another electrologist.The confirmation calls the day before would say my appointment was with Stephanie, but when I got there, I was not. Stephanie is very inconsistent and does not communicate.The office is very disorganized. They did not have or seemingly keep record of the amount of my gift card, or the settings of the lasers in my chart.They told me I would see results after the 4th treatment. I had 5, with zero results. My skin is the same.After extreme frustration, I went to a dermatology office that informed me the lasers used at Laser & Beauty are out dated, and for the problems of my skin, one setting on my overall face wouldnt accomplish anything.According to the Florida Board of Medicine, the only regulation that directly addresses laser hair removal is Rule 64B8-56.002, F.A.C., which states that electrologists can perform laser hair removal only under the direct supervision of a licensed physician who has been properly trained in hair removal. There is not a physician on the premises.

Reading the other reviews I see that several other people had a bad experience with this salon. I wish I would have seen these reviews before I bought the Groupon.I called to make an appt and they had one available next day at 10am. Got there before 10 and no one was there. Called. No answer. Called again 10:15am. No answer. Stayed infront of building for another few minutes and then left to go my meeting at 11:15am. Called salon around 12pm and was told they had me down for 11. I told them that I would have NEVER made the appt for 11, since I had a meeting at 11:15. The lady said she would reschedule but charge me a broken appt fee.Come again? I was there, you were not and you will charge me broken appt fee? I was fuming and wanted to report them to Groupon. Office manager convinced me to reschedule.Today I walked in at my rescheduled appt and front office person told me to pay the broken appt fee. I explained the situation, again, and she told me it was policy. I asked to speak with manager. She was not there. I asked to speak with owner. She was in session.Then she told me to go to Groupon and get my money back and that she would send them an email. I asked for a copy of the email. She told she didn’t have to give me anything and to leave the premises or she would call the policeI was flabbergasted…On my way out I called Groupon and they immediately refunded my money. Reading the previous reviews that were also Groupon related I now know why they didnt even put up a fight...
