Lowes USED to be a good store. Went there twice today. Bought a lot of composite. Neither time would ANY employee help load. We will go to Tractor Supply next time. Cannot be any worse.
Its nearly impossible to EVER find help in this store. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to this location. Its incredibly frustrating. I avoid shopping here because I am disabled and know Im going to need help, and know may have to spend an obnoxious amount of time searching for an employee to actually help me. Also, dont bother going into the store after 5:00. There are no employees actually in the different departments. I had to go to this location twice to purchase large, expensive appliances because no one was working in that department, the head of that department had gone home for the day hours before, and not one single employee that was left in the sparsely employed building knew anything about the appliances! Why stay open late if theres no one there to actually sell the things people need?
A little hard to find anyone that knows their department but its well stocked and organized.
Our portable soccer bench needed new hardware, so I took it with me in the store to be sure to get the correct material. Thinking everyone was gonna laugh, I was proven wrong! The employees were eager to help me, even getting their tools out to assist me. I took the parts home and assembled them... bench was better than new! Thank you so much 💓 💗 💛 💖
Nobody offers to help you and I just moved in the area. I stayed in the carpet department for 45 mins no joke so I called the manager while I was in the store and she had a attitude. Ive been in there 10 times in 2 months never has 1 person ask me do I need help and I look like I need help heartbroken
I bought a dishwasher from Lowe’s in Palestine Texas. I was set for delivery on the 16th. Delivery did not come and nobody called. I contacted the Palestine Lowe store and they said that the dishwasher will be delivered the next day. I explained I was working 12 hour shifts and unable to sleep. And ask that the dishwasher be delivered the following week which is today June 23. My delivery did not show up again. Upon calling the store they did not have record that the dishwasher was there last week or this week. Products on floor and in stock. I’m not sure I will use the store again.

Lowes Palestine always has the best selections available for landscaping, flowerbeds and garden. The people in the garden center are always friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. The prices are certainly pocketbook friendly, and I appreciate the military discount.

Wasnt offered any assistance and was on an electric cart! However outside someone with the store was super helpful and put my plant in my car and got the electric buggie! Was super polite and nice!

It is, like many other Lowes, a Lowes. They do a good job most of the time with having someone available to help and to allow you a speedy checkout.
Out of all the stores I deliver to, this Lowes has, by far, the slowest and least efficient receiving department. Truckers bring these stores merchandise so they can sell it and make a profit but, at least at this store, truckers are not appreciated. This fork lift driver has been dealing with ONE truck for an hour and a half and only has it halfway unloaded.They go home after 8 hours but we, truckers, dont go home until we are finished with our runs. Stores like this take away from our family lives and couldnt care less.

We purchased a Samsung stove in the labor day sale last year. We didnt receive our new stove until right before Thanksgiving, then the oven was off by degrees and lowes made a emergency pick up on the stove at my house and left me with nothing lowes said they had to have the stove in there store before letting me order a new one. Leaving me with nothing to cook with, it gets better Samsung told me just to donate it, so in my opinion lowes in Palestine has really messed over us, were seniors. Now they are leaving us with nothing to cook with they said it will probably take 2 weeks or more.
Shopping for flowers and found a great selection and bought a bunch.
Ran into a little trouble with the bar code not on a item ever thing stops while the cashier tries to get garden to please call her. I ended up, much to the dozen people in line joy, walking to the garden area and fining one with a barcode with. Just for the record garden still would not call the cashier with a product code. I ended up carting it back down to check out. There must be another way. Seems the barcode industry has a few bugs to work out.
It is great if you can actually get someone to come over and help you .
They sell products that they dont sell the support parts for when breakdown occurs after the original purchase. In small communities they have no one to perform repairs on warrantied products that fail. Generally involves 2 weeks minimum on warranty issues. So often the website says that so and so item is in stock, but you find out differently when you arrive at the store. Its become like Wal-Mart with all the store employees shopping for the curb pick-up service. Employees can help you find things, but cant tell you how to work or use them.

The people working here where great help. Saw something online that me and my girlfriend wanted and when we went to the store to buy it we couldnt find it. So like half of the employees of the whole store where looking all over the place to find it for us and just great costumer service
Went in there to look at Christmas 🎄 to see how fresh they are. The worker there last night was extremely helpful and gave great advice and even a family story. We are going back Saturday after Thanksgiving to pick up our real tree

Absolute worst service. Had to have someone called to plumbing three times in 30 minutes because nobody showed.
Lowes does a good job with servicing the majority of my needs. I have noticed that they seem to be a little more helpful in the stores, but maybe I got a good customer service person!
Rude employees. Employees that do not know anything. Nothing is ever in stock. Complain to managers they are just as rude. Horrible store.

Apparently their reps feel it is acceptable to lie about scheduled delivery times. I was told delivery would be january 4th and instead it was setup for the 30 when no one will be there to accept delivery. I am now having to scramble to ensure the store does not deliver my package tomorrow and that i get the time i was supposed to get as o cant change it to the date i was told was available!

Youre better off going to Home Depot. At least their pro desk as long as the doors are open. Were not going to get into the fact that the employees think that it is a major inconvenience to do the job that they are hired for. Enough said. I will go a hundred miles out of my way, before Ill shop there again
On this trip you couldnt of asked for better service. Was helped by an associate that sold a screen door and took the door that was chosen to his register.

Outstanding place to procure all materials for a large variety of construction projects.Make sure if you are doing bathroom remodeling to have the rep in that area pull up options on their system.I was able to purchase a 10ft long 6ft 6in wall of glass and have it delivered for installation.The also have a large number of vendors lined up to perform these services.Great place!
They are very helpful on the gardening section. They have a large variety of plants.I cant comment on the other areas of store yet
This place is a good business to get your materials for your projects. Its really cool that they give veterans a discount!
On the bright side, Malik, Dustin and Marcel were very helpful and cheerful employees to chat with and get advice from. On the downside, shopping here for gutters proved to be a fruitless adventure. There were parts missing everywhere, out of stock in right metal end caps, no vinyl end cap option, etc. very disappointing that we were not able to get everything we needed here.

Got most of what I needed but some employees leave a lot to be desired in customer service and safety. Aisle was blocked by 60s female employee talking to a customer about buying a house. Employee was facing me so knew I was trying to get through. I stood there for about 2 minutes. I am a disabled vet and try to get around without aid but am limited to as to distance. (I did appreciate the military discount) All she had to do was go to same side of the pretty wide aisle so I wouldnt have to brush against them. Employee had mask but had it pulled down on her chin. Some of us try to observe social distancing, I went around by way of next aisle and found what I needed 10 ft. from the folks still talking about a house. I recently moved to this area and hope that is not your average employee.

Their lumber is sold out almost every time I go in. Whoever places truck orders hasnt got a clue. Went in for treated 4X4 they were sold out. I called yesterday; a week later, still out. Needed 2 x 6, been sold out for a week. The nice lady on the phone informed me that they have 96 on a truck coming this week. 96, can you believe that ? They will be sold out again in 2 days. 80% of their lumber stock is sold out constantly. It looks like an empty warehouse. -Bart, Palestine Tx.
I have never had an issue until today. Amanda at the customer service returns desk needs to learn customer services skills, how to treat customers with respect and learn to find solutions instead of creating problems to escalate a situation. I understand policies but she had no reason to treat my parents with the disrespect that she did. I spoke with the corporate office and was treated with complete respect. Remember guys, its about finding a solution and not escalting a problem

Tha manager David parry is the absolutely the worst employee I meet at Lowes. Tried to call up there and get a issue handled that happened with my card and all he could do was talk bad to my brother in law and hang up on my wife when it was there fault for my account going negative $65 I wouldnt go there.
Gary in the lighting department, at the Palestime Texas location, is the most courteous, professional, knowledgeable person I have ever dealt with at a big store like Lowes. Helped me with my returns and went above and beyond. Definitely the best
This is a great place to shop for home improvement items... Discounted plants everyday. Employees always ask if I need help with anything and theyre very polite as well. Highly recommend..... Prices are low as well.

Had to return a breaker, it was taking awhile so they sent another employee once the line had two people. Seems this year 2020 they are more helpful as in the past the assistance or trying to get someone to help was pretty awful. So far Ive been pleased this year with cs. Hopefully it lasts.
Time is showing eight, they close on sundays at 7 apparently. My water heater is leaking so went up there to get parts they were very rude at the door. Called to inquire about it and they hung up on me. Thank you Lowe’s.. I work in construction so after spending THOUSANDS of dollars there it always nice to be treated poorly. Especially when times are pretty hard and you have kids waiting at home for water.

People are nice... But, they dont know anything about if they have a product in stock at the store... Called Monday because I need a dryer ASAP... Nobody around my area had one. So, I called lowes in Palestine tx. The lady said she had 2 in stock... When I get there Im told No, they do not have any in stock... I told the man the lady told me she had 2....he said yes maam we do have 2. One on display & one defect WHAT!??! Why would they even consider them in stock items! Never again. That was a wasted 75 mile trip... Wasted!!!
All the Lowes area stores must be under the same manager. Customer service attitude is poor in all the stores. That has to be management.
We ask 2 employees where peg boards would be. First of all, they didnt even know what a peg board was. Then we showed them one that yall had used as a shelf. He looked it up for us and it showed them to be in the 46 area. When we got there it was shingles! Geezzz!
They had what I needed, but it was like being in a scavenger hunt. It took three employees before I found one that knew what what I was looking for and where it was.

Had an employee set up an appt. for an estimate to put gutters on my house. Was told late afternoon on Thursday. Noone showed up or called until Saturday. Ron said he didnt know about the appt. but could be out Monday at 9:00. He called later and changed it to 11:00. I got a call Monday and he explained he was having a problem with his fiance so could we make it tomorrow. I told him I would call him if I needed his help.... then blocked his phone number.

I tried to place an order online, but for some reason the website wasnt working. Called and someone from the help desk helped me order it over the phone right then and there. He was great! And the utility shelf I bought is exactly what I needed.

Staff was not very intelligent, over charged us and then took 36min to get tables unlocked and 5 trips inside to ask them to page the person with the keys who said that he never got the page that I heard 3 of the 5x and there inventory is way off
Its our go to store for repairs and they typically have the parts needed. I just wish the workers that are in the garden center were more knowledgeable about plants that are being sold.

Went to Lowe’s today to purchase a few items. I had no idea what i was looking for. I only had a screenshot of the items i needed along with a YouTube video. A awesome guy by the name of Mario helped me. He got me a basket and we went down the list of items i needed and helped me get everything on my list. Very very nice & helpful. I’m so glad today was not his off day lol. I doubt if i would’ve got the awesome service he gave me with anyone else. He definitely made the trip a great experience considering I’m a lady that has no knowledge with lumber. Ladies & gentlemen if you go to Lowe’s please ask for Mario if you want someone who is nice, helpful, and patient. Thanks again Mario. I’ll definitely be back
