I hate even this 1star showing up just to be able to write a review!One of their technicians came out & took apart the wire box that services my neighbor that is 90 years old & depends on her internet for many reasons. We have been trying to assist her in getting box put back together for 2 days and can’t even get an actual human to talk to. We thought we finally got to a point where a person was going to help, but was put on hold for nearly 3 hours and our phone went dead.So now we are forced to try & locate an actual office so we can talk to a person about getting her service back on. After reading all these negative reviews I would hate to be that person that is on the front line at point of entering a CenturyLink office!
Lets see they guarantee 10 makes per second but by law if they give you at least 60% of the speed they cant give you any type of refund. On the telephone pole next to my house theres only two pairs of wire left because its been hit so many times with lightning at a 10 megs per second I was getting 1.5 was the top speed. Also theyre still experiencing bandwidth burnout because theyre equipment was never set up correctly in the first place. Their technicians in their tentacle support will avoid this word at all cost ..
Whoever is running this area needs to fire everyone and replace their entire team, they will avoid you, tell you lies about when your internet is gonna come(was supposed to have it yesterday now I’m being told it won’t be until the end of the month), the customer service is awful and everybody we’ve talked to sounds like they don’t want to be there, and with a nearly perfect one star review they continue to give out trash service, don’t choose century link because they’re the only one out here, apply for spacex’s starlink for a fantastic internet experience!
This is the worst experience I have ever had with internet services. When you call after hours, the technical support team cannot assist you with the problem you are having. My internet went out yesterday and they informed me that my internet will be restored this morning at 10. Now, it is 12 in the afternoon and I still do have internet services. I am the only in my housing area without internet, and we all have the same internet services. Now, they tell me my internet servie will not be on till later on tonight. CenturyLink has to do better than this.Unsatisfied customer

This is the slowest worst service I have ever seen in the entire country.
Centurylink seemed to be okay in Oregon but when I moved to Texas they were the worst. They mailed a box and we had no active line in the house to hook up and use internet. They didnt send anyone to install. Ive called 100 times and have been hung up. I was charged for months I never had the services hooked up. They tried to say I requested a disconnect on 12/2 but they didnt complete it until 12/31 and wanted to charge a months bill. I didnt even have equipment to use (already had proof of sending those back). They are the worst customer service Ive encountered in a long time.
Absolutely awful. Get maybe a 3 mbps download and not even 1mbps upload. Hotspots run faster waste of money.
The internet does not work most of the time and you will never get the speeds that they bill you for. I have wasted too many days waiting for their supposed technician to show up between 8:00am and 5:00pm and they NEVER SHOW. If there was another option I would be there in a second.

Horrible customer service. No one answers the phone and the employees are sorry. But, they can catch up for the monthly payments.
