I had a dry cleaning pickup/delivery order that was just completed.There was a miscommunication with the pickup, but customer service was able to help me sort it out and get everything fixed with little delay in service. Drop-off was flawless (they even provided me with an over-the-door hanger to leave my suits on). The thing that really impressed me was this: a day before I sent one of my shirts in, the top button popped off. I was going to fix it before sending the shirt in for cleaning, but didnt have time and figured Id do it after. CD actually saw that the button had fallen off and replaced it for me at no charge. Although its a small thing, I really appreciated their attention to detail! Next time I need dry cleaning, you can bet Ill be using this service again. They charge $5 extra for pickup/delivery, but they offer the service for free for first-time customers.

We drop off our bags and someone always carries the clean clothing to my car (I have two small kids so trying to get everyone out of car seats and carrying them and the clothes is pretty challenging!). I brought in a wrinkled silk pocket square for dry cleaning before my wedding. The owner stepped up and instead of charging me for dry cleaning told me because it was new he could just press it and make it look crisp. He took it in the back, pressed it, brought it back and said congratulations. When I asked to pay, he said no charge. He didnt try to take advantage of me, did what was in my best interests and wasnt worried about making a quick buck. Honest people, they have a customer for life.

I have been using CD cleaners for years. Awesome service. Unfortunately with Covid my dry cleaning needs have not been as high as normal. I know they had to let go a lot of hard working people. I have been going to this CD One Price Cleaners for a while now. The people that work here are very friendly and always attentive. Anytime I have had a minor issue they always have made sure the solution exceeds my expectations. It’s great they are also open on Sundays which provides that additional flexibility to drop off and pick up orders. I also signed up for the after hours drop off service which is an easy way to drop off clothing when they are closed. Great job CD One Price.

I was pleased with the cleaning service but once I got the garment home, I noticed a button missing. I am not sure what happened but I always close the vest using the buttons, so they were on the vest when I dropped it off.

I brought in a faux fur blanket that had coffee spilled on it. The tag said dry clean only, but when the owner took a look he informed me that the fur would like crumple in the heat and recommended to not dry clean. He then proceeded to spot clean a few spots for me at no charge. Really appreciate his honesty and still cared to help me out even though we wouldn’t be able to use a full service.

Cleaned 11 of the wifes sweaters the other day. They are like new she says.Good business, good coffee!

In this order, I had about 15 dress shirts, that needed laundry. The shirts were ready when promised and they came back looking professionally cleaned and ironed. I also had one blouse that was returned cleaned. I appreciate their ability to get stains out of clothing.

When pants are dry cleaned they have a musty every time they have been cleaned

Best dry cleaner I have found. Jury the manager makes the whole store better by being a great leader and example. Jury is so nice and she welcomes everyone by name. I have never had a problem and when I need something to have special care (my wifes clothing) they always make sure it is perfect. This cleaners is amazing. I brought in my child’s dress which was oil stained and I thought it was unfixable. However this CD cleaners got the job done so quickly and all for such an affordable price. I was so satisfied with the customer service, the woman at the cashier was so friendly. I live in Libertyville, but choose the Palatine location near my son’s school to have my clothes cleaned. This location is the best. When you walk in on a cold day, the bright friendly atmosphere, as well as the free coffee warm you immediately. Even when the line was long, I have never waited more than a couple minutes. Extra registers are open to provide quicker service when things get busy. The wash and fold service is amazing for the price. All of my clothes were folded and ready to put immediately into the drawers when I got home. But where they stand out is their customer service. My son is in the military. Not only do they offer a discount on uniforms, but they exceed military standards. Even when I brought in an item that needed to be worn the same day to an awards ceremony, the manager happily came to my rescue and had his uniform ready same day. He looked amazing. Thank you to the staff at CD One Price Cleaners in Palatine, for always putting the customers first. Employees are always smiling, dropping whatever they may be doing to assist you upon entering. Have never had any issues with their cleaning services, and my orders are generally done earlier than the time provided during drop off. They clean my familys clothes very well, their prices are very low, they have fresh coffee made every day, and they have donuts on the weekends (early birds get the ...donuts)! Great Place. Hard to define what is good, but they just care. They greet you, they know you. I moved to another cleaner for about 2 weeks to a place much closer to my house, and switched back soon after. CD One Price is Fast, Modern, Professional. The other place I tried was messy, dark, old fashion, and slow (and the same price). I drive 3 miles out of my to use them!!!

This is one of the best dry cleaning locations Ive ever been in. In response to what Chase Bullock was saying. I believe your issue with your coat requires a seamstress which CD One didnt have on-site. Yes, they can go out of their way to sign it for you but that is not a service they can do for you in that location. If they start doing business like that (such as signing a document that you typed up to give to American Express, their credibility will be on the line (forget about theres no liability on their part as you said). So please, stop...just stop...

Average cleaning, poor customer service. If you need anything more than basic dry cleaning, go elsewhere--the owner is blatantly unwilling to help his (former) customers.To be clear, I needed CD One Price to verify whether or not a tear in my Canada Goose coat could be repaired and if so, at what cost. This was per the advice of American Express and thus not terribly unusual for most dry cleaners. In fact, the owner of this location (if not others as well) stated that he was aware of the procedure because he personally used American Express.However and despite orally stating that the coat could not be repaired, the owner was unwilling to verify as such in writing. In fact, he refused to look at any paperwork altogether. I explained that he and his company faced no liability for anything and that the paperwork was purely between me and American Express, that I was aware that falsifying information would be an act of insurance fraud--a felony--solely by me, and that I stood to lose $1,000 on a coat less than two months old because my claim would be denied for lack of verification. Nevertheless, I was told Im not signing anything.In short, the owner of this location--who may own other locations, I dont know--was openly unwilling to service his (former) customer of years without explanation despite the fact that in his own words, he was familiar with the process of American Express Purchase Protection and the insurance it provides to coats such as mine. As such, I believe it is quite clear that customer service is not a concern of this location (if its a single franchise, otherwise a broader term would be appropriate).

It cost me seven dollars to do three loads of laundry… Plus the time and plus the detergent and then I have to fold or convince myself that I am going to and most of the time....it doesn’t happen…For a nominal amount, I just dropped off and don’t have to do anythingMy clothes are nice and folded and my socks are matched up...

I love their one day dry cleaning service! They were even able to get a huge red wine stain out of a white tux shirt for me!

I was pleased by the cordialness of the staff that I dealt with both when dropping off as well as picking up my shirt. This was my first visit and the staff member I spoke with explained the process and how they would wash my shirt since it had a stain. I would certainly recommend them.
