We reserved a jeep, it was not available and we ended up with a BRAND NEW (less than 350 miles) Porsche. The company was great to work with. I DID have trouble getting them to answer on Saturday when I wanted to question switching our return location...but we got it worked out with no problems.

Daniel went out of his way at your facility on 54 because I wasnt aware the time you closed on Saturday, and the doors were lock, and he came to door and let me give my info. That Saturday, then today he was at Don Moore to pick me up way before the time and doing that I wasnt late for work! Let him and other know he was such an asset for your company! Should know when they tell you they had to air a tire up before you picked it up that there may be a problem. After airing it up 3 times, finding it flat the next morning, calling them and finding out Firestone Tire Centers were contracted to fix those issues and locating the nearest service center, we are good though. 😂😆

The reservation process was easy and the locations both in Owensboro Ky and Frankfort Ky had helpful staff and their health safety procedures were excellent. The vehicle was very clean and nice. Changing my initial reservation was stress free and I was not hit with any high fees.

The car I rented a Nissan Versa was terrible. Every time I started to move forward, the transmission acted like it was slipping. As a rewards member, I expect better from Enterprise than this vehicle. To top it all of, the blonde surfer boy when I turned the car in was a smart a$$. Like every other car rental company, when you pick up your car, the gas tank is full so there can be no guessing how much gas to add upon returning the car. This car had between a half and 3/4 of a tank of gas and evidently a very small tank. I tried to add $15 worth of gas and it completely filled the tank up, so I gave them much more than when I picked it up. Ive had dozens of great rentals with Enterprise, not this one. Surfer boy needs to be taught proper customer service skills and know when to keep his mouth shut. If you would quit restricting your new hires to the under 30 age group and get experienced customers service reps who know how to care for your clients, you would be much better off.

They didnt have what i needed at the time of arrival so I had to upgrade, which was well worth it. The process was quick and easy and all done from the inside of the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle it was just as quick. Practically dropped off the keys and left. Ask for Ben. He was very professional and great to work with.

I booked a Ford F-150 or similar. When I arrived, they tried to give me a Nissan Frontier and insisted it was what I had booked, even though my reservation clearly was not for the smaller truck. They ended up charging more per day than my online reservation becasue I upgraded, even though that was not the case. Otherwise the car was nice. Not the cleanest considering what I had imagined due to COVID. But a solid ok experience.

I always use the same enterprise location and everyone is so so helpful and nice. Ben helped me out this past visit and when I didn’t feel comfortable driving one vehicle I sat in, he was quick to give me other options.The only thing I didn’t like was that of the sedans, only one was available and it was a model I had driven before and didn’t want to drive 12 hours for my trip. So... I ended up spending quite a bit more money than I had planned for a smaller suv, but it was worth it in the end.

Enterprise is generally a decent enterprise for car rental. Their presence a small town as Owensboro has afforded residents a great wealth of convenience, saving us a trip to the nearest airport 40 miles away. However, I recommend renting from the Frederica location ONLY as the location on Salem lacks good customer service. Their manager, Megan Phillips, lacks professionalism. She talks to customers like she brought her baggage from home to work. They will never again get my business at Salem!!!

Very bad experience. Manager/owner very rude. I was told that they had the car I requested when I got there was told they rented it out right before I got there. I had reserved the car with my credit card and they charged my card the deposit and rented the car to someone else. They wouldnt credit my deposit back and kept trying to get me to take a different car. The car I reserved was a premium one and the car they were trying to give me was the lowest they had. It took me 72 hours and me calling my credit card company to get a credit back then the next day they tried to recharge my card for the deposit and I didnt even have a car of theirs. When I finally found the manager/owner after he had been avoiding my calls and visits he totally insulted me and my intelligence by trying to say he didnt charge my card again. When I showed him a picture of the slip my credit card company sent me he got very hateful and told me to leave. This man should not be able to have a business. If he did me this way what has he done to others and how many paid twice for things that they never got. I think the company should be audited.

The guys that work at the Central City one are terrible! Very awful, rude, and unsavory people. Will never rent from that location just because of them. Actually, we stopped renting from them because we had a problem with one of their cars, I didnt feel it was safe to drive and they would not help us in any way! I have to bother them over and over. Then I called another office and told them what was going on and suddenly they let us switch to a safe vehicle.

Rented a care for about 9 days while my car was in the shop. The staff was friendly and helpful. I originally rented it for just 1 week but needed to extend the rental. I was able to just call and take care of that over the phone. My only complaint is that I wanted to pay with cash and they would not take my cash. They wanted a money order. That is why I only gave them 3 stars. Had they taken cash, it would have been 4 or 5

We were given a rental car by our insurance company. Our car was involved in an accident so we needed a rental. The car Enterprise gave us was really nice. We treated the car like it was our own. Took extreme measure to make sure the car was well taken care of. One it was a nice car and two it wasnt ours. My insurance company was really pushing me to return the car. Of course they didnt want to pay for it any longer than they really needed. That isnt Enterprises fault. We returned the car one evening, the store was already closed. We left the car and put the key in the key return. Please, if you get anything from this review. DO NOT DO THIS. Since we werent there when they received the car back we arent able to dispute the damages they are saying the car has. They supplied picture to back their claim. These pictures do not reflect how we returned the car at all. When we disputed the claims, they basically said we couldnt prove it so we owed the money. Our only option now is to pay for damages we did not cause or go to court. We will pay the bill of course. I wont allow them to attack my integrity. I wrote this review for two reasons. One, I wasnt wowd by my experience with them. Two, I hope it helps people to not make the same mistake as I did. Take pictures before you leave with your car. Take pictures after you return your car. DO NOT leave your car without someone being there.

Wonderful experience! Very helpful! We were in Florida after Allegiant cancelled flights leaving their passengers stranded with Hurricane Irma approaching. It was very difficult to get any help in Florida at the time. I called our local enterprise office in Owensboro and DJ helped us secure a vehicle. He went above and beyond what I would expect to make renting a vehicle a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend this Enterprise and highly recommend DJ! Will go through Enterprise and DJ again if ever needing another rental!

I recently had the need for a Car rental due to some work my car required at a Chrysler Dodge Dealorship. I needed a loaner to get back and forth to work for 1 day. I called Enterprise in Owensboro, KY and spoke with the Assistant Mgr. Eric Sapp. He was able to provide me with a shuttle ride from my home to the Enterprise storefront location on 1104 Frederica Street. I was given a 2019 Dodge Van for my 1 day rental at a discounted price, which was I thought was very nice of Eric to do for my 1st rental! The vehicle was basically brand new and was vaccummed and in a very clean state inside and outside. I had a comfortable ride to and from work back to my home. No issues at all great customer service from Eric Sapp and his whole staff. I returned the vehicle actually 2 days later and they had no problem extending my rental agreement for 1 extra day. At the end of my rental they also gave me a ride to the Chrysler Dodge Dealorship so that I could picked up my vehicle. If you are in need of a vehicle to rent whether it be for a family trip, business trip, need a loaner due to your car being in the shop needing body work or maintenance work definitely call Enterprise and ask for Eric Sapp at 1104 frederica Street in Owensboro. He and his Team will take care of your current need with their diverse fleet of vehicle inverntory!

We originally had a vehicle reserved in advance for over a month at the Salem Rd. Office in wife callOwensboro My wife called and verified the rental 3 days prior to when we were to pick it up and was told to pick it up at 12:00 on Saturday. Well, when we got there we were told that they didnt have any vehicles ready or available and none would be ready until the following Monday. We we scheduled to leave Sunday morning and told them this a couple of times. They told us that we could stop in Bowling Green and pick up a rental car on our way to our destination otherwise they couldnt help us. That defeated the entire purpose of renting a vehicle and went right through me and I was done with them and walked out. I called the call center and spoke to a representative that was absolutely no help in no way. We then went to the Hertz center in which we andmet someone who encountered the same exact issues we had with Enterprise. They at least tried to help but couldnt get us anything the size we needed in that short of notice. So then we went to the Enterprise office on Frederica where we met Eric Sapp. We told him of our issue and told us the three people in front had the same problems we had and in matter of fact the Salem Rd office called while we were there and asked if they had vehicles to rent and he told them that he was taking care of their customers and was about out also. Fortunately Eric and his partner had two vehicles that were available and exactly what we had tried to rent originally. So we were able to make our trip without and delay. We couldnt have been more happy with Eric and his office for keeping his fleet planned and organized. As well as taking care of us and the other customers that got shafted from the other office. From now on we will deal with Eric and his associates in which his office is moving to HWY 54 which will be also better for us. So Thank you again Eric Sapp for the awesome service. We hope you guys get to enjoy your gifts.

I returned my car on Friday at 6:04. The employees were walking across the parking lot so i dropped0+ the keys in the drop box. At 11:00 Saturday morning I realized I left a collapsible wagon in the back of a Nissan Rogue and some insurance cards and letter between the console and drivers seat. That was my fault, however, i called and they had sent the car out that morning and didnt see a wagon. That says either the car was not cleaned obviously or someone there stole the wagon. They denied both. Enterprise supposedly called the new renter but they didnt answer. I called a few more time to see if the car had been returned and it was, but no wagon of course. So either someone at enterprise stole it or the new renter. If the car had been cleaned the wagon would have been seen and i would have thought the company would set the wagon aside knowing someone would return for it. I made sure to return the vehicle clean and thats the reward i received, Enterprise not cleaning it. It was my fault I left the wagon in the car but where is any kind of customer service here

First off my name debra Daugherty. I had wrecked my vehicle. My ins provided this as my choice for my rental car 3 weeks later the receptionist from cambrons body called said my vehicle was ready. I said what do I do w the rental car she said leave it here and I will call them and they will pick it up. I did what she said. I did this at about 12:30 PM 4/2/14 I spoke w man early rental place this am and he was rude told me I wasnt supposed to leave the far at cambrons body shop tonight I get a call from enterprise they say theres a cracked bumber and I will have a claim. God knows I didnt do anything to that car. I drove it to work and home. I didnt do anything to harm it. He said since I didnt return to enterprise they didnt do walk around cant prove if I did it or something happened to it at cambrobody shop owensboro ky. I dont wreck everyday or deal w rental cars I trusted the woman at the body shop They been doing this 109 years. I pray God will intervene. I treated that car like a baby. I dont have another dime for another claim and will probably loose my ins if I have to pay for another claim God knows This has been a horrible ordeal

While the car was nice I was very disappointed when I arrived to pick my rental up. After calling and explaining a family of 7 going on vacation the enterprise employee booked a large SUV for us. When we picked up the SUV they had a ford expedition there, plenty of seating but not enough trunk space for 2 suitcases. 7 people and no trunk space, 9 hour trip and a weeks worth of belongings. Only one of the charger plugs worked in the SUV. Needless to say this made for a stressful vacation and couldnt even purchase anything to bring back due to the limited space! Probably will try another rental company in the future.

Best experience ever! Having an auto accident is the worst but DJ McHenry at Enterprise went WAY above and beyond. He was so professional and kind! I hadnt been off the phone with Progressive for two minutes before DJ called me and asked when he could get me in a rental car and literally less than 30 min after my call, my lovely rental car was in my parking spot at home. 200% service! The world needs more DJs!

I rented from Enterprise on Frederica street in Owensboro KY. I had to give this a star to write the review, otherwise I would have given it none. I had rented cars every weekend for the past few weeks while my car was being worked on. The first few went off without a hitch, other than the fact that they were renting me cars with dents in them, one had huge holes in the driver seat that looked like cigarette burns, along with an obvious spill on the inside of the driver door, and none of them had been cleaned on the outside at all prior to renting them to me. I didnt complain, I understand these people have a lot of business on the weekend and have limited time to clean the cars and it didnt effect the drivability, and I needed the car when I needed it so I didnt have time to sit around and wait for them to clean. Also frankly I didnt wanna be a pain in the ass. I get a lot of that at my job so I do my part to not spread it around. However, the last time I rented a car it had a crack in the windshield. It was there when I rented it, I didnt say anything because the lady who inspected it before renting it to me stopped right in front of it and then wrote something down, so I thought she noticed it. Then I apparently initialed a box saying that there was no damage to the windshield after having what I was initialing poorly explained to me (its not written out in plain English, its abbreviations and symbols that I didnt understand/I thought I was signing saying I am aware of whats wrong with the car in general...blah blah blah.) When I returned the car, the woman who inspected it said she had to file a claim, I only have liability so they kept my $150 deposit, to some people that may not seem like a lot of money but to me its a lot. I am a singe mom raising a 3 year old on my own with absolutely no help from my family or anyone. I work for minimum wage, and I DONT have subsidized rent or low income housing, I pay full rent without any help, so needless to say, after bills, I have NO money left. I worked and saved up that money and now its gone because some woman couldnt admit she might have made a mistake and looked over the crack originally, and because these people apparently cant do their jobs. I work at a hotel, I meet and build friendships with A LOT of their clients, not just personal but corporate who use them for all of their employees who travel, I will be telling them about my experience and recommending they go elsewhere to rent a car. These people are very unprofessional, they seem to be filing claims over damages and then instead of fixing the damage, they pocket the money, as if that isnt bad enough, they charge the next person who rents it for damages that the previous person caused.

I reserved a SUV 2 or 3 weeks before our trip. 4 days before we were to leave, my mom went in to go ahead and pay for the vehicle and was told she couldnt because it was in my name. So I went to pick up the vehicle. They said they didnt have it, because I didnt get a hold of them, even though the vehicle was reserved 3 weeks prior and they were looking at my reservation. Then my mom mentioned that she was there 4 days prior and was talking to the same guy as before. He started calling her a liar, even when what he was saying was contradicting itself. Needless to say we went to Hertz and got a great deal and better customer service.

Fantastic customer service. I was left stranded in Owensboro after my flight home was cancelled due to storms. I placed a call to all the car rental options in Owensboro and discovered that the Ford airbag recall had left everyone was out of vehicles. Eric at this location was able to work with his manager to shuffle things around after they received a late return to get me a vehicle. They even picked me up at the airport and stayed late to process my rental. Next time Im in Owensboro and I need a rental, this office will definitely be my fiirst call. The people are nice, but everytime I pick up a car it is not clean. The time before last I had to ask the person to re-wash the car. The car was white and had black dirt runs all around it and the windows are always smeared like they are cleaned with a dirty rag. The trunk always has stuff in it. I was informed by the rental lady that was from when the trunk gets closed it falls off the trunk and gets on the carpet. Ive complained to them on several occasions and still my next rental will be dirty.

In Feb. 2017, I had a very negative experience here. This was not my experience in the past so I was very disappointed. After calling the day before to ask what I needed to bring with me (My drivers license, my other driver and her drivers license plus credit cards for both of us), I had to deal with an unfriendly young man who asked me for all kinds of other things. He wanted my insurance card (that makes sense, but I rent frequently and have never had to have it before...and was not told to bring it), then he wanted proof that I lived at the address on my license and when I didnt happen to have the last two months utility bills on me, he asked me all sorts of questions about if I own my home, how long I have been at my job...it was all very strange. Then he wouldnt let me use a debit card for the rental (I rent here frequently and since I do not have any credit cards, I have obviously ALWAYS used a debit card). Several families I know were renting here to go to the same event and me...some of them had the same young man who did not ask for weird items and information while refusing to tell me why it was needed. Because I have had such a positive experience in past dealings, I will give them another chance in a few weeks when I need another rental car...but I will definitely not work with this same person. He makes your store look bad.
