Cruelly and inhumanly mass towing of vehicles for expired tags from a trailer park. These people were doing their job and I get that. But the trailer park gave no notice at all and the tow truck drivers never even knocked on doors to let the people know. Anything for a buck right? I don’t live there and my car is currently tagged. I just happened to witness their rudeness (not to mention the smell of tires being dragged and the sound of crunching bumpers) to distraught single mothers, elderly, Hispanic and people who generally need help not hurt. This was a HORRIBLE thing to witness and I’m still sick from watching. Please do NOT support these vultures.
I would usually never leave a bad review on a place, but this place deserves it. My boyfriend’s car got towed by Speedys & they refused to let him pay the drop fee when he went out there. They also told him he should pick it up on Monday rather than the weekend because it’s $60 more (it was Friday at around 4:30 pm), and they didn’t mention the fact that there’s a holding fee. They said it would be $200, ended up being over $300. Not to mention, there were ants in the car when he got it back, and he didn’t leave any food in there. Also, it’s cash only, and they forget to tell you that too until you get there. One last thing- they don’t have their Tulsa location on maps. This place just wants your money, but I guess that’s most towing places.
If you need to get your car picked up DONT drive to Owasso like Google maps tells you. They dont have there office location on there. Its located in Tulsa. Also bring cash they dont tell you til you get there. Also its exact change. And if you have them tow your car from one place to another they tell you they will call you and let you know when they do, well they dont do that either.
Our insurance company sources Speedys and in the past theyve performed solid work. Last week however when they dropped off my car at our house we realized the front bumper was broken (and it wasnt broken before!). I called and the lady at the desk was very nice, she informed me Wayne would call me the next day (Monday) and get things fixed. I didnt get a call Monday, Tuesday I called back and was told a note would be placed on his desk and he was out until 3:30 and he would call me back. Now over a week later, I have called every day, they will not give me his cell number, my wife called asking for him and they gave her the same response, they would put a note on his desk and he would be back after 3:30. I will next be contacting the BBB, it is not the matter of fixing a bumper now, it is a matter of professionalism that this company lacks, I hope the kids on this companys website dont grow up like the dad in the picture (if thats who he is)!
Very good towing service. Always on time and professional. State farm insurance uses them.
My insurance company used these guys and twice Im left sitting for a total of 4 hours because they didnt tell progressive they were short handed so it could be handed off to another tower. Ive beensitting here burning gas and wasting time.Absolutely do not recommend. Infuriating.
I love using them they are a great price but over priced. And they are fast and have awesome service we use them everytime and reccomend them too.
The driver who picked up the car was good. They had to keep the car overnight because it was Sunday and the dealer was not open. Speedy’s was to deliver my car to the dealer at 7 am the next morning but did not. I called to check on my car at 10 am, 12, 2 and 4 and they lied to me each time saying it was getting ready to be transported but never did. Finally after an upsetting call they got it to the dealer after 6 pm which is when the service department closed. Dishonorable people to work with. The extra day it took to get my car worked on cost us time and money as we lived out of town.
My sister called them at 2am to pick her car up. After spending all day dealing with the office lying and the driver Tim lying to her and our mother. The car finally got dropped off at the shop at 1922. Mind you this was after the shop had already closed and they had been expecting it all day. This is the WORST company in the world. Not to mention they picked the car up in Vinita and was to drop it off in Chouteau, however after picking it up Tim the driver decided it was ok to take the car across Stateline without permission to pickup another vehicle.
Nice people. They did a good job.
Was confuse??? Driver drop my car off truck I had to park it??? Speedy is a good company. Ben is the one driver I felt comfortable and trust with my family and cars.
Called them at 9:15 am to tow a collector car thats been in our family for 70 years. Dominic M was here early - less than an hour - and hauled the car on a flatbed. He took very good care of my grandfathers 1951 Ford. Knew where he was going and got the car there without any problems. Highly recommend them. Ask for Dominic if hes available.
Yesterday my vehicle (Luxury) was towed in by Speedys using my roadside assistance through my insurance company. As the guy was loading up my vehicle, using the straps UNDER my vehicle when CLEARLY this vehicle was designed with a tow pin in the front of the vehicle. I specifically asked the guy to not do that and to use the tow pin in the front. He was adamant about strapping underneath the vehicle. He then loaded my vehicle onto the bed. He advised me that he would call me in about 30-40 minutes. Hours had past and my vehicle is nowhere to be found nor had made it to it’s destination. I had to call my roadside assistance as well as this company to find out the “truck” broke down “supposedly”. My car eventually made it to it’s destination. This morning I went to the dealership where my vehicle was towed to and noticed that one of my rims were damaged. Called them to let them know, met with “Wayne” at the dealership and explained to him that I didn’t like the way my vehicle was put onto the bed and that his driver damaged my rim. He go onto ask me if I ever had my tires changed, or if anyone has driven my car and if I bought it brand new, like what the hell does ANY of that have to do with this. I knew what my vehicle looked like before. My vehicle cost me over $70k because thats what I wanted and can afford whatever the hell I want if I want it. But I be dammed if they feel as if they are not going to be responsible
First, I trusted State Farm because this is who they are partnered with.My car has now been on the side of the road for over 24hrs!!!!Icy conditions currently, so I fell for the, it will be about 8 hrs because theres so many wrecks. 8 hrs, 16 hrs, now 24 hrs later. Still no show. Wont answer calls to their business phone number now. They must have caller ID and are avoiding me. IT ONLY NEEDS TOWED 1.2 MILES!!!!!I have a new nice vehicle and Im concerned of vandalism, or the police having it towed. (Bet they can get a wrecker)I would NOT recommend using this company if they towed for free!Seriously, save yourself a lot of grief and use anyone else.
(Disclaimer: I have never had to leave a bad review before and I am not usually the type to resort to this. Company owners/ supervisors have remarkable talent for inadequacy.) That being said, I was told I would be serviced in 60 minutes and to remain by my vehicle. The tracker via the link reflected this. My car was stuck between two hills and was not walk-able up or down; without sliding and crawling on hands and knees due to the steep incline. . In 19 degrees, in the dark I made the trek back(1.8 miles round trip) to my car as the update said arriving soon. 30 minutes later receive and updated ETA of 120 minutes. After I put in the request at 4:18 P.M. I made this walk twice, as I was told someone else would be arriving soon. They never did. Thank god I am able bodied and able to walk and crawl in the ice, but I cannot imagine anyone other than a younger person being able to make it in 19 degree cold, while it is snowing. (Too long; dont read) I WAITED OVER 6 HOURS IN THE COLD BECAUSE I HAD TO STAY NEAR THE VEHICLE. MY ONLY MODE OF TRANSPORTATION TO MY CAR AND BACK WAS WALKING. I KNOW TOWING COMPANIES ARE THE SPAWN OF LUCIFER. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO SOMEONE WHO I DESPISED.Hey Speedys owner, if the space where your brain would be can comprehend this much writing thus far, man up and service people according to your own time estimates.Sincerely, your cold, former, customer.
My insurance has used them for roadside assistance twice this year. The first time, I waited for an hour after hearing that they were in route. They then told me that someone was on the shoulder of the highway and closer so they helped them, after they were done, an hour later. Today, I waited 35 minutes after they responded to hear that they were dropping a car off in 15 minutes, then that they would make the drive another 15 minutes away and be right there. An hour and some change later, they said they were just then “in route” but added an additional delay. Next time I’ll call a preferred tow service and just have them bill insurance, they have made me wait an additional day to get tires on my car and made me cancel all my plans for something that should have been easily doable. They also told me they would call me when they picked up my car, we had to call them. Avoid at all costs
I highly recommend this service and particularly Matt Hendershot. We were stranded on side of I-35 near nowhere and our insurance assigned Speedys. Matt Hendershot showed up to save the day! He was friendly, helpful and safe. He took his time to care for my trailer and motorcycle, making sure they were secure as well as helping us to be at ease and assuring it would all be fine. It was all great even though we had to tow it an extra long distance.
It says it in the name. Very quick and was careful to not damage anything
This place is horrible! They didn’t tow until 10 hours later than promised and then lied about it being fault of roadside assistance company. Roadside assistance verified that was not true.Very unethical, unreliable, unprofessional. Steer clear!
THE WORST.I never go out of my way to write a review but seriously look somewhere else for towing services. I understand weather conditions can delay timing of towing. We waited up all night for them and still >20 hours later they did not show. When I would call for updates their customer service was BEYOND terrible, so rude, not helpful, blatantly hung up on me. They do not deserve your business. Finally someone called the cops about my car and the city took care of it.
Speedys made a frustrating situation so much better. The driver, Matt said he would be there in 20 minutes and he was! It was not a typical job and Matt handled it great. We definitely recommend Speedys.
They left us stranded all night. Never showed up.
Speedys towing is not very speedy. I was fine with the two and a half hour wait for my pickup to tow my car to the mechanic. The mechanic shop is approximately 30 minutes away from my house. It took over two hours between the time I picked up my car and I dropped off my car. I was told the reason why was because they unhooked my car at some undisclosed location without telling me so they could go and pick up until somebody elses car. they didnt have to go back and hook my car back up again until it to the mechanic shop. This caused me to lose my appointment for that day. I never heard of any things so ridiculous. Why is it that big of a deal to just drop my car off and then go pick up somebody elses. They could at least told me what they were doing. It took forever to get a hold of somebody and I didnt know what happened to my car and I thought it was possibly in a wreck. I Will never be using these peoples services again. This place is very unprofessional
Hopefully this is the correct business, since he showed up in Tow Truck... lol. The driver was beyond nice and kind. Def need more guys like that in the tow/lock out industry.Definitely recommend them based on Customer Service, Speed, and friendliness.
Nice Fair People
After sitting on the side of the hwy for 4 hours, another tow company cancelled call (they cancelled on us and drove by), insurance company run around.Darren from speedy tow showed up. We were glad he did! He was kind professional and even cared enough to ask what our plans were to make sure we were going to make it to where we were going. Thank you for coming to take care of us!
My son bought a used car for Ben from the verdigris lot. Did paper wrk in Owasso. Very good experience! Very nice ppl that are professional & real sales experience.
I was picked up by a great driver...the only issue was that dispatch decided to continue to dispatch him to multiple other jobs such as changing a tire, unloading my car to pick up another car. Nearly 4 hours of being made to watch him do other jobs. I asked to speak with someone and he told the driver to just keep asking for my payment and threatened to have my vehicle impounded if I didn’t pay. The only reason o did pay was because again the driver was good it wasn’t his fault and he makes commission.
Always available when I need them
They arrived really quickly! Very nice, professional, and affordable! Towed my food truck when no other towing companies wanted to. I highly recommend them!
State Farm had them come tow me. They never showed up but marked my service as complete before contacting me since they claimed I wasnt on the location. We were on a hw before an exit, they couldnt have missed us. Seemed like they never made it out at all.
Sent me a notice that I had been towed but did not mention office hours or that they only take cash. Spent $100 more than the form said and i had to make an extra Uber trip to the bank. Will take some coffee next time.
Darren came and towed my truck. While we were going to the destination, I described what was going on, and he recommended something for me to try. I tried it and it worked! I had to pay for the tow, but that was a LOT less expensive than the diagnostics and repair costs I would have incurred. Additionally, Darren was pleasant and had great customer service.
The tow driver ripped my bumper off when he pulled it up the truck. I asked for the insurance they rudely told me that there not going to give me the insurance they said I have to speak to Greg he is the head manager he was very disrespectful on the phone with me hung up multiple times telling me that I’m in the wrong he said my bumper looked broke before he towed it but he never seen the bumper and I have proof that he ripped off my bumper the driver even said it hisself so they came up with something like hey were goi g to pick up your car on Sunday To take it to fix the but didn’t tell me the office is closed on Sunday so I called 8 hours after they took it and asked when can I get it back he said he don’t know when I will get it back they might work on it Monday so I said I have a job how am I going to go to work why didn’t you tell me this before hand he said I don’t know I have no control over that remind you this is the manager Greg saying all this long story short I was disrespected my car bumper was torn off I still haven’t got there insurance and I’m still asking for it Greg the GM denied my call over 5 times and I still do t know when I can get my car back
Awesome service. Arrived 10 minutes before quoted time by insurance company. Driver was amazingly nice and helpful. Even looked under the hood to see if he could identify the problem. Couldnt ask for better customer service!!
Helped me out with a flat tire when everything else was closed. Super crew that work hard and understand customer service. Thanks again!!
My wifes car had a wheel bearing go bad and we needed a tow. The dispatcher and driver were very kind and easy to deal with. Driver arrived promptly and towed the vehicle to the repair shop. Overall very please with their service....Thank you!
The driver was sweet, wished I knew his name. Even asked to see what was wrong with our car. And even check here and there. Loaded and unloaded professionally. Thank you for the service!
The driver was on time, very kind, and went above and beyond for our family. I’ll definitely be calling Speedy’s for any future towing or roadside needs!
This was a BAD experience turned GREAT! I want to share a quick experience I had with Speedy Towing. Durning the loading process my SUV was damaged 😤 I was obvessly very upset! The process that followed with the help of Speedy Towing was amazing!! Speedy Towing took care of the damages and the rental, I know that should be expected but the professionalism and the promptness of taking care of the issue was what turned a bad situation to a great experience! Thank you Speedy Towing!!
I will never use them again.
The new owners of Speedys are wonderful. Very family Oriented and seem to be very caring.
They are fast, careful and very professional. This was my 1st experience with Speedy’s and it was good. Thanks to Steven for his communication. Called and updated me 3 times...great service!!!
They were very prompt and the gentleman was just that a true gentleman. Thank you for coming to my rescue
Best towing and recovery agency in Owasso, Tulsa and surrounding areas. Anything from Tire changes, Lock-outs, Jump-starts, Winch-out, Towing and Repossessions. These guys do it all and in a Speedys manner
Drug my interview out took 4 days to tell me that they were not going to hire. Need to be more straight up.
Amazing service, polite and skilled drivers,
Great experience! With fast service!
I had a great experience with Bryan while getting my car towed from my home to the body shop after an accident. Thanks for making my life easier during a stressful situation!!
Wasnt happy with service
Once again, Dads Old Faithful broke down... & it was Speedy to the Rescue! And the driver, DARREN, was a COMPLETE PRO!THANKS DARREN!
When I asked the lady for my change back she got mad and threw the change in my face I thought that was very unprofessional to the point to where I was about to call the police
Had to use their services last night. It took a bit to get to me because of already scheduled jobs and the requirement for a special truck (flat inside a parking garage downtown Tulsa required it). Bryan was the guy assigned. Very professional, knew exactly what he was doing, and was a pleasure to talk to on the way back to Owasso.
Chris was so professional, and a great communicator. Thanks again.
Great food & great service!!!
Fast friendly service
Two of their drivers have no idea how to drive in a neighborhood with kids playing. You would think that when representing a business, people would conduct their selves in a professional manner.
Great Fast Service !! Driver Very Nice. !
Great communication and recovery time.
Good service.
Quality drivers
Great
