This is my home bjj gym. No matter where I end up living this will be home to me. I’ve known Christian and the group for several years, and they always welcome me and treat me like family. You’re not going to find a nicer or better bjj instructor. If you live anywhere in the Tulsa area, this gym is worth driving to. At least come and cross train. Also Christian and I are both from the Mississippi Delta, so what’s not to like?

Clinch is an amazing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school and the head instructor Christian Derr is a fantastic black belt under Jean Jacques Machado. The school is very professional and you will improve with consistency training with a variety of awesome people ranking everywhere from brand new to seasoned black belts. Cant recommend enough!

Great place to train with great people as well. Everyone here is very nice and all of them just want to make you better. No ego exists inside of this gym and if one pops up it gets smashed out quick. An old gym I use to go to was not the best and the owner had the biggest ego I have ever seen. That is not even close to a problem here. Great teachers and people I love this school.

I’ve tried different MMA gyms in the past. I’ve ever tried bjjj but decided to give it a shot and I will say, this place was a breath of fresh air. I’ve trained striking/wrestling at other gyms and I’ve never met such a great group of martial artists that all leave their ego at the door. I have so many good things to say about this gym. From the coaches down to the students. I was always the visiting student from another gyn but I was treated as if i belong. Christian has never hesitated to coach me when available and has always helped me out with anything and the same is to be said about all of the other coaches under him. It didnt matter if I was preparing for a tourney or just normal training. There is a tremendous amount of respect in that gym. This is a great gym, all the coaches and students are super helpful and friendly. They make jiu jitsu accessible to anyone willing to learn and be respectful to others and themselves.
