We just got tile put in on our screened porch, and we couldnt be happier with the result. The quality is superb, the workmanship was excellent, and their service was outstanding. We will definitely return for our next flooring project. We highly recommend them!

I had a great experience with Nelson the owner and Jerry the installer. I had LVT installed throughout my entire house. Nelson was very responsive and helpful during the selection and installation process. Jerry the installer, did a phenomenal job. He and his partner were always on time and are artists at their craft. I couldnt be any happier. As a bonus, I had them resurface my fireplace with stone. Jerry does it all! When I’m ready to update my kitchen, I’ll surly be returning to Nelson and his team.

We shopped and looked at all the big box stores and, although they said the installers were fully backed by the store, we were more comfortable using a small, family owned business with years of experience and a tremendous install team. Very happy we choose Nelson and Jerry (install) for this job.Jerry took the time to get the job done right and took our concerns seriously and was very meticulous, clean and friendly. He does excellent work.

We had floors installed with laminate oak in three rooms and hallways throughout our home. We’re getting a lot compliments but most importantly we love the work that was done. We called him back to install vinyl plank out in the screened in lanai and it looks amazing! We’re very happy with the look and the outstanding work of Victor!! Would recommend him to anyone!!!

Fantastic all around. Nelson and his installers (Jerry) were absolutely fabulous to work with. We did the entire house at one time. Nelsons time estimate was exactly on. Jerry and his crew made sure we new what was being done and when. They never left us without bathrooms or beds when they left. We absolutely love that Jerry and his team were able to run the floor in one direction without any transitions. It looks amazing.We got 2000 sqft of flooring and all new baseboards as well. It was a long process, but worth every second and cent! The pictures are the kitchen before that was done but shows the flooring we were dealing with. The new floor photos are during construction so everything is still all over the place but gives you the long kitchen run from the other side.

Worst experience you can ever have imagined. Please do not use them to put any tile or bathroom cabinets. I hired them to install wood-like tile throughout my bedrooms and living room three years ago. We had three different sub-contractors (pretty much cheap installers) try to install the tiles which took about a month or more to do. The master bedroom has three different patterns of this wood tile. It is embarrassing when guests notice and we have to explain to them this horrible experience. My daughters room was so bad they had to redo it three times and still today it is horrible. You can hear a crack in three tiles as you walk on them, which means they did not fill it in correctly. My sons room had tiles with chips on them and they still installed it. Later, they had to break the tile and install better ones instead of doing it correctly the first time. During the same time, we also had them install cabinets for our bathrooms. We were told they were real wood and when we received them they were not. Then, we were told it has pieces of real wood in the material and that is why it is real wood, a wood blend (so they can technically call it wood). The supervisor is the owners elderly father who doesnt say anything to the installers and just looks and leaves within minutes. I had to make the owner come to my house after pleading multiple times so he can see the installation and he claims it looked okay. I had to show him the different patterns in the master and the un-walkable bedroom that had to be redone 3 times. The fact that the customer had to show him the bad work makes me wonder if he even knows what to do. He wanted to charge me for the extra tiles but luckily I had purchased extra from the beginning. Complete shady, I am sorry I have taken so long to write the review I was scared they would threaten not to comply with our five year warranty, but then realized they would just hire more shady people to do another bad install for the one room that needs it and charge us for material of their mistake.

We are very happy with Nelson and his crew at Unique Flooring. We had luxury tile and new carpeting put in and could not be happier with the results. We highly recommend this company.

We hired Unique Flooring to replace our existing tile, with wood look tile. We loved the idea of supporting a fellow veteran and a family owned business that had stellar reviews. The idea of having a one stop shop also appealed to us; they completed the demolition as well as the installation. Nelson, was excellent at communicating with us and addressing any concerns we had, even well after the project was completed. The craftsmanship and attention to detail on the installation of the flooring was unparalleled, the floors are absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend Unique Flooring and Design.

I really appreciated the ease of working with Nelson at Unique Flooring. They were very patient and let me bring several samples (multiple times) back to the house. They worked around the schedule of my demolition and cabinet installers to help me keep the job moving. The floor installer did an exceptional job and everyone who walks in has a positive comment. Yes, I would use them again when I do my next job. Well done!

We scheduled an appointment and received a consultation from Nelson with ease. That’s where the customer service ended. It has been almost a month and we have yet to receive an estimate. We have since had the work done by another gentleman who did an amazing job for an incredible price! Despite several phone calls inquiring about the estimate and even stopping by the store in hopes of expediting things.. we never received our estimate. It seems the lady handling the store front is unprofessional, incapable or both. We seemingly were put off being told “I’m waiting to hear back from the distribution warehouse” or “I will get that estimate out to you when I can.” We even had to provide our contact email at least 4 times as it kept being misplaced. To reiterate Nelson was confident and professional and we looked forward to more than likely working with him. However, the 1 lady at the storefront provided negligible customer service. It is my hope that given this review she will provide superior service to the next customer no matter what the job may entail.

Talk about a transformation! The condo is virtually unrecognizable. I have absolutely not one complaint. This entire process was smooth and in the world of working with contractors I believe that may be almost impossible. I went in on a Saturday and the office manager was fantastic in helping me to make some decisions on which aesthetic I wanted to try. I was able to sign out some of the samples to take back to see how it worked in the space. We scheduled a time for Nelson, the owner to come in and give an estimate, he was prompt and the price was fair. Everything was done exactly on schedule and the installation crew led by Jerry was INCREDIBLE. They were courteous and helped answer 3000 questions, we had about the upkeep. He lent his expertise and advice and truly the floor looks so incredibly luxe and amazing. Im already planning on going back to work with them for the kitchen back splash!

My travertine floors look amazing! Very professional and excellent communication all the way through the process. Installation crew was respectful of my home and cleaned up after they finished each day. Very nice people. I recommend without hesitation.In addition, Nelson stayed with the project long after I had paid him to ensure I was 100% satisfied. I had some difficult transition pieces that we were able to come to a custom solution on. Nelson reinstalled the custom transitions free of charge to make sure the job was perfect! Unique flooring did an exceptional job in my house, we had 4 different types of tiles when we bought the house and we decided to change everything to be the same in the entire house, we got them to do demolition, install, base boards etc. There’s not a single error on the job, our house is looking beautiful, the staff and employees are just amazing, we cant ask for more simply the best around, we really recommend them and if we can do 100 stars review we will do it for sure. We called Unique Flooring & Design for new floors after reading some reviews for them here on Google. My wife and I have a home with about 2200 sq/ft with wood in the kitchen and entry ways, vinyl in the bathrooms and carpet everywhere else. Our plan was to put tile where wood and vinyl was and laminate where carpet was.While at their showroom picking out the laminate and tile, Nelson and Luis promised me they would be able to start on Monday and have my house completed by the following Saturday, Sunday at the absolute latest. They started on Monday and by the end of Tuesday it would be safe to say that I was disappointed with the progress they made. Only the old wood and vinyl was demoed and only half of the kitchen was tiled. This left pretty much the whole house with carpet and concrete in the entry ways and bathrooms.I called Nelson on Tuesday night expressing my concerns with the progress. Instead of making excuses, he focused on solutions. He told me that if he had to do the work himself he would. He seemed to put my home his top priority.The next two days after returning home from work, the original crew was there, along with another crew for the laminate and Nelson himself moving furniture and helping the crews. I seen huge changes in progress and my disappointment changed to relief.In the end, they met their deadline of Saturday. The quality of work is fantastic, right down to the quarter round trim. Dealing with them from start to finish was pleasant (except for the first two days of installation of course). Luis kept in touch with us every step of the way and answered any questions we had in the week or so leading up to the install date.We plan on hiring these guys again in the future for some granite counter-top installation.

My wife and I recently purchased a new construction home. After hearing the ridiculous prices for flooring options that the builder offered, we decided to go with a local contractor for our project.We got several quotes at different reasonable ranges but only Nelson truly impressed us. We arrived after the store was closed (due to Google having incorrect closing times) but Nelson opened back up and stayed for over and hour consulting with us. Never once did he rush us or imply that he had other things to do. And this was before we even agreed to be his clients! No one else showed that level of professionalism.You can guess how the rest went so I will spare you the details. We gave Nelsons team a very short deadline yet they met it and the work is SPECTACULAR! we couldnt be happier.Now, thats not to say there werent hiccups. However, Nelson immediately took the proper steps needed to resolve any issues that arose. Even more so, he was always polite, caring and honest. Those qualities are far more important to me than the bottom price (which was among the lowest we were quoted as well).I will DEFINITELY be hiring Nelson and his team for future projects. But dont take my word for it. Go and see for yourself. I promise you will not be disappointed!
