Staff is very friendly ~ great location ~ very helpful in explaining costs and services.
No organized line. No shipping supplies ready. Supervisor stands in the back watching and not helping or restocking supplies that have run out.
Have been visiting this post office for a few years now most currently today 16 November 2020.I have always had great experiences at this office. Today clerk 05, Rueben and Lolita were all very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I was greeted as I came up to the window. The lines moves quickly. There were 4 windows open, the post office was clean and well stocked.Great experience!
Was inside the post office Tuesday, January 13th and last Friday, January 8th. Each time I received great customer service. This is a 5 star facility with 5 star employees! Weve loved our local Oviedo Post Office since 1997. Always, always, always they take excellent care of us customers. I really disagree with the Google 2.9 score - thats just not the case at this branch of our USPS - still the best postal service in the world!
I have no problem with my mail carrier, it is this branch location that gives me chills.Overcharging me for services that are honestly much cheaper online, a lack of familiarity, clarity and consistency for Mailing Requirements and the patronizing, I have better things to do than serve you attitude shared by the branch manager and several of her underlings have made me dread using this USPS location for delivering mail-pieces.I have read the local and international mailing requirements, reached out to the branch manager who said I was wrong, followed up with a couple mailing requirements clerks to confirm that I was right and had them follow up with the branch manager to explain to Mary Ann why I was right and still (with proof in hand) could not get my parcels shipped without groans and moans from the front desk staff. How hard is it to read and apply shipping classification standards word for word without adding arbitrary and simply wrong caveats? Large envelopes are not only classified as large envolopes if they are made of paper. Letters that are more than three ounces shouldnt be automatically upgraded to packages they should move up to large envolopes. International Mail does not have to be sent as Certified Mail, it can be sent as first class package international. Its pretty simple stuff. You dont need a college degree for that; and yet my back and forth with Mary Ann got to the point where she couldnt even be bothered to look at the factual information provided by the very Mailing Requirement Clerks that she originally referred me to. Ignorance must be bliss for her, but it was a headache for me.Not everyone there is a jerk, some people who work there actually take pride in their job, and do it well. For those few, I wish them the best.In the end I decided to look for another post office for my business needs, and ship packages through Pirateship.com (much cheaper and no upselling). Luckily the drive time is not so different from what it was going to this branch.Extra Thought: I really wish the post office as a whole, had a meaningful way of allocating resources to better performing/higher volume locations. That way perhaps we could show appreciation by giving our business to higher quality locations. Or maybe add a little 1-5 cent fee to mail piece prices, paid to the branch directly to aid in their improvement of infrastructure, public relations, and meet their increased staffing needs.
Fast and friendly service.
Jamila is AMAZING! I had a package that was going to be returned to sender because we had listed the house number incorrectly by accident. I called and she located the package and made a note so that it would still be delivered correctly! Thank you so much. We really appreciate it!
My mail is constantly delivered to my neighbors. Recently I bought a set of $300 mirrors for my motorcycle. I believe the key to the lock box was put into someone else’s box. Tracking said it was delivered to me. That was a week ago. Someone stole them. When I contacted them they deferred to the fraud division. Good luck there. Not happy with my service. These Postal Carriers make too much money to make the mistakes that they do. I would have been fired from my job if I worked this poorly.
I’m Still trying to get a new key- it’s been over a week with no mail now- I finally Went in to post office And had to wait like 15 minutes while they scrambled around they “couldn’t find the keys” and said my carrier will “ bring them today”- never happened. I’m still waiting. No customer service ethics at all - the Asian postal man was rude. Actually acting like I was an imposition to ask for a key to a mailbox they replaced! I’m not impressed at all.
I have come to this place for the last 4 years and The manager, the people that work in this place are so amazing and professional.I don’t understand why some people put them a bad star.
Packages sent via UPS Surepost are constantly delayed at the post office. I did not have this problem in other towns I lived in. My wife went to the post office to check on a package that should have been delivered last week. The Post Office employee was rude and blamed the delay on the store we purchased from. No, the packaged was received by the post office on wednesday. We still have not received it by the following Monday evening, even though the printout the post Office gave us stated it would be delivered Monday by 8 pm.
Had to do an RMA and the postal worker was very helpful and nice.
They have been nothing but helpful and quick when I am there. Some customer have lots of questions which they answer in turn and it takes time.l. This is not the fault of the post office here, rather it’s the people who show up having done no research on their own before and expect to be hand held every step of the way.
1. They have no manners. Dont expect a hello, how may I help you and have a good day.2. Getting them to do their job, like asking them to type in a tracking, is like pulling teeth.3. You stand a better chance of your package being lost, delivered to the wrong or broken.4. Long story short they are rude, incompetent and lazy.
Im frequently in this post office for business purposes and the staff is friendly and pleasant every single time I am there. When there is a line, they open a counter to the side and also have somebody come from the back to work the line and help direct people. They seem very service-oriented.
The USPS in Oviedo is extremely concerning. Packages are consistently delayed. I wish all packages had the same level of quality as our other services. They always arrive on time if not early. USPS, step up your game.
Even though my certified mail was not delivered to the recipient, it was not the Oviedo Branchs fault but I really appreciate the staffs concern on why it was not delivered utilizing their internal tracking system. Marianne (the manager) took the time out her daily routine to attend to my situation at hand in a timely fashion. Michael at the counter played an intricate part trying to get the managers approval for my refund and Betty provided the end result with the refund as Marianne overseen the entire progress...In all TEAMWORK and customer service was exceptional at this location!! Thank you so much for your wonderful services! And just in case youre wondering about my certified mail. Well, lets just say it has been held hostage at another USPS location in Georgia and Marianne will investigate further. Now thats why this branch receives 5 stars from me, because the staff will try their utmost to resolve issues..
Highly incompetent and extremely rude. If you will work for a private company, you will get fired on the spot for insulting your customers.
I am not one to leave reviews but this place is an absolute headache. I would not recommend dropping any packages off here. If you are delivering mail with them directly they are okay just make sure to keep the tracking # handy. Do not use their kiosk as I have used the kiosk to deliver a package to a customer and it was never delivered resulting in me having to refund my customer and be at a loss for my item as well. Secondly I mistakenly dropped off 2 UPS packages to this post office and usually when this happens you should be able to come back and pick it up or they could give you some idea of where it is so you can pick it up. With this post office they were not able to help me find my packages and once again here I am out money because these people cant seem to keep track of anything. The UPS thing was partially my fault but still why do they not know where any of their packages go!
Theyve always been very helpful to me. Ive bought supplies and shipped from this location multiple times in the past couple of months and theyre always fairly quick and efficient and seem to know what theyre talking about. The only issue I had was when I was trying to get ground shipping on a couple packages that were ORM-D marked and the guy kept trying to talk me up to getting priority shipping, even after I told him multiple times I wanted ground shipping. He was pretty pushy about it until I told him they were ORM-D.
We have an excellent delivery man at Palm Valley. I have also enjoyed my interactions with the people in the office. Sorry about those who have had trouble. I am sure they were not the norm.
Worst thing of Oviedo! If you move to this great town, expect the post office to loose your mail, specially packages, expect to have your mail marked as delivered and not actually receive it for a week or two. Best case scenario, your package will be delivered to your neighbor with a complete different address at least 3 blocks away from you.
If you are dyslexic, have poor attention to detail or are just downright incompetent, apply to the Geneva Drive Post Office in Oviedo, FL. That is apparently their preferred candidate. We have lived in our current home for 12 years and, unfortunately, are serviced by this post office. For 12 years we have consistently been given neighbors mail and have had an unbelievable amount of our mail delivered to other people. In most instances, after the items are reported as delivered (but not to us) we have had to report the issue to the sender and get a refund because the items are seldom returned to us by whomever received it. I NEVER send items through the mail via USPS. I prefer to pay more to UPS or FEDEX because at least I know it will arrive to the intended recipient. Unfortunately, I do not always get to choose how others will send items to me. I have warned my family and friends and have requested all vendors that I do business with to avoid USPS since my mail goes through this location. Additionally, my complaints about the carrier go to the same incapable post office where the incompetent carrier works so nothing ever gets done. I called this office to report the latest problem, but they never answer the phone. I then called the 800 number and was told Id be on hold for 45 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes. Thats what you can expect from government-run agencies!
👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 horrible employee. (1) The worst ever. They can never handle packages or deliver packages correctly.
4 YEARS LATER and the service in this office hasnt improved. I was there to check in a package that the mailman apparently didnt pick up from my mail box, even though the other 2 packages that were along with it were picked up. They dont even care about what happened. I called first to know about the procedure, they said they will call me back,, they didnt, thats why I went to the office to receive a we dont know what happened as an answer...The mailman keep delivering my mail to other neighbors, so maybe at that time he picked up the package a didnt scanned, a human error that only asking him could know, but the office didnt help at all.+++±+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I was in this office today asking for something that I didnt understand in the tracking of my package. I was in line (holding my 15months old) and when my turn, I explained the USPS Clerk (an Asian man) about my package concern. He may did not understand my English or didnt want to take the time to understand, so, he proceed right away to point out when another Clerk was and said You see him, his name is Javier he speaks Spanish so he could help you)What about if Javier wasnt there? I did not speak in Spanish at the first time so what if my first language wasnt Spanish? btw, I did not ask for help in Spanish.I think it was rude, because he didnt try to understand me, it was easier to him sent me with the other clerk. The 2 stars are for Javier who take care of my case was very nice and very informative (5 stars for Javier actually), he solved the inconvenience like in 2 minutes. (which I think the other Clerk could do too)
Ive always had a pleasant experience at this post office! The staff is very friendly and I LOVE our mail deliverer, Betty! She is the best!
I have never left a review before, but after my wonderful experience, I had to post this. It was approximately 9pm on Christmas Eve, when my doorbell rang. I was having a party, so I thought it was just some of my guests arriving late. To my pleasant surprise, it was Travis, the supervisor from the Oviedo post office delivering a small package that could have very easily been overlooked. It was my father -in- laws, trifocal glasses!! With a big smile he stated, Merry Christmas. The package looked like it was something needed sooner rather than later, and I wanted to make sure you got it before the Holiday. He looked so tired- bless that man. I assured him they were very much needed by my father- in- law who was anxiously waiting for them to arrive earlier that day, and thanked him for his kind act of service. It is a wonderful reminder that there is still someone who takes his job to heart and goes above and beyond for the community he serves. They have to deal with angry customers who think they are too slow, roll their eyes while waiting on line at the post office or worse. We take for granted that they have to work in the sweltering heat or deal with massive downpours of rain driving an open car or often times walking, with greetings from pets that are not so happy to see them, just to get our mail to and from where it needs to go. He most definitely made our Christmas merrier not just because he fulfilled a need, but for his kind act that restores my faith in humanity, and makes me realize how much we take them for granted. That is not something I have ever experienced from FEDEX or UPS and I am thankful for our dedicated postal service workers.
This post office is the worst. My packages are constantly being crushed or lost. They wont deliver half of the shipments and I have to go to the post office and beg for the packages. I always ask the people I buy from to ship with UPS or FedEx, anything but USPS. Nice people at the counter but resulting service is terrible. Imagine if we socialize the medical industry... I imagine it to be like the USPS. No accountability or care of service.
Mail delivery isn’t until 3:00 P.M. daily, which is ridiculous. The speed of service on mail delivery clearly isn’t a priority.
Most of the staff is friendly, and they try hard to keep the line moving, HOWEVER, one of my very expensive priority packages was lost, and I had to file a claim. The second package that was guaranteed priority, was three days late. This has never happened to me at any other Orlando post office.
I have been to this post office many times. Today the staff on duty was awesome. Funny. Helpful and fast.
Clean, fast and kindness even speedy
Typical post pffice
Excellent location-great service !
I went in there nobody bit me it was a nice post office and the lady behind the counter was positive and helpful
Very friendly and great customer service.
Super nice service.
Ive always been helped with enthusiasm and knowledge at this postal office. The staff is great!!
This post office never has flat rate envelopes. They said we have to order them. What? It’s still the post office right? The kiosks with packaging supplies is completely empty, no envelopes at all except express. I ask about it and they treat it like no big deal.
Helpful and service oriented. Oriental employee is rude.
Such kind workers here! Fast and helpful
What a terrible service !! How complicated it is to get a communication with you ... they returned my package due to lack of information in the address and I have been trying to contact them for more than four days, complicated telephone service, complicated website. really bad time!
Very helpful at all times.
Ive been customer since 2004. I thinks the customer service is kind and helpfull
These dudes, besides been rude, dont care about quality service and dont have a clue on ANY question ask; they always respond check onlinewhy the USPS grant licenses for their services to ANY ONE that request it even when they dont care about the goal of the USPS?bliise come again!
They never answer the phone and the staff is rude.
The staff is hopeful and nice enough but the wait time always seems long on the days I go in.
Always friendly and helpful.
Package stolen / lost 2 times in a row, can’t even trust that if I order something I will receive it.
No direct number to reach anyone to ask a simple question gotta go through an hour of endless circular automated prompts that take you nowhere near a living person to talk to
The mailman that delivers in Riverside must be new he keeps putting other peoples mail in my box getting old folks, Twin Rivers Blvd. Mailman I believe he is a contract employee.
Worst mailman ever, makes too much mistakes on delivering mail on our mailbox!
If the goal of this post office is to lose its patrons’ packages and deliver mail to the wrong recipients, then it is killing it!
Came to pick up a item on Saturday they told me to come back Monday and came back Monday and they were closed
We have lived several places and this is by far the most rudest place and their carriers should be called dont-carriers!!!
I always like going here sometimes the box drop off gets stuck but oh well mailing things is so 2005
