I would not normally take the time to review a title company because the experience is usually akin to a needle in the eyeball. However, the lengths Aloma went to accomplish the task of closing a loan were truly a great example of how business should be done during a pandemic. She answered all of our questions and even had a plan for the inevitable slip of the pen when I signed a form incorrectly. She was courteous and her pacing was just right for us. Aloma Title worked with us when we sold our condo in Orlando. Had a closing scheduled. Deal ultimately fell through during inspection period, meaning according to agreement the money is to be refunded without question. Title company held on to funds for an additional three days requiring written approval from seller to release funds despite contract specifically stating that it is not necessary. When I received the funds they were actually made out the the wrong name. Check had to be recut. Disappointing experience.
