Morgan Hunter is a wonderful company to substitute teach with. They make an effort to get to know you as a person, and try to match you to your teaching preferences. Im not sure how there are so many positive reviews, but this is one you should listen to.Long story short, this applicant has graduated with 5 honors designations, 3 years of corporate accounting experience, 1 year tax experience at the IRS - all within the last 4 years. This applicant was laid off due to the pandemic in May of 2020, and decided to get those 5 honors designations and finish their degree. This person has also touched multiple accounting software packages from JD Edwards, quick books, Lawson, sage, oracle, etc.Adele Hoch said that this applicant is entry level. 4 years of accounting and finance experience isnt a lot, but definitely not entry level. She graduated from K-State and according to her LinkedIn profile, worked 9 months as a staff accountant before going into recruiting. THAT is entry level experience.Im definitely not an entry level applicant. Either Morgan Hunter cannot train their employees for what to look for, or this poor gal is clueless. Either way, Morgan Hunter clearly does not value your actual worth.Zero stars if possible.

Morgan Hunter made the task of starting a new career effortless! I can’t impress enough how easy they made the process. And during a pandemic, I might add!I interviewed with Julie and Morgan, and they had multiple open roles for me to consider within a week. Morgan coached me through best practices and language as far as how to tactfully juggle multiple interviews, and how to navigate alternate interviews while an offer was on the table. I felt seen and heard, and like I was her most important client. MHED is amazingly thorough in their application process. I am a retired educator with 43 years of service PLUS ten years of substitute teaching. They still required me to go through their detailed application process for me to be able to sub for them. Very professional. I had worked in two school districts and then subbed in three different districts. None had anything even close to their application process. Substitute teaching is an important aspect of the school setting. MHED respectfully honors that and demands professional credibility in return.

I am a business office manager with 10 years experience and I had applied for a job in October 2019 on one of their Indeed ads. A few days later I got a call to come do an interview with Melissa Rose. I went in expecting to interview for the position I had applied for, instead she asks for my job preferences, gives me pointers on how to change my resume, and then tells me that I should change my hair color (its a faded red because Im trying to grow it back out). I left a bit disheartened and embarrassed, Ive never been treated like that, but I tried to let it go and decided to do the changes she requested on my resume and emailed it back to her the next day. She emailed back and said she updated my file with the new resume and email I had made. Then silence. I waited a week and still nothing, so I emailed her and asked for an update. She said that the opportunities were slow this time of year and then asked if I had seen any jobs on my end. Yes, plenty, but I thought you were supposed to help? Unfortunately it is now March 2020 and there is still no word from these people. Waste of time and gas, save yourselves the grief.

My experience with Morgan Hunter was nothing short of amazing. I received a call for a meeting with Andrea Johnson within 24 hours of filling out the online application. She was very thorough during my interview, suggesting improvements for my resume, and really listening to me express what I was looking for. I worked specifically with Eric Walters (Senior IT Recruiter) and felt really good working with him. I worked with Eric Walters to find an IT position and he does an absolutely fantastic job! He finds out what is important to you and what you are looking for in a position and an employer. He doesnt waste time throwing things at you that would not fit your interests and then works diligently to find positions and employers that match your skills and tastes.I have been in the IT world for over 35 years and in lots of different industries. So, you would think I would be an easy placement. However, most of the employers I have worked for werent exactly cutting edge in terms of technology. So, although I had a lot of exposure to many things, my skill set was a bit outdated.Eric had no problem finding potential positions that would fit me. And, even when I rejected some of those based on my own personal preferences, he never stopped working hard to find something that worked. Not sure how this company is to make money if youre not helping companies find good people when theyre standing in front of you. Youre better off finding your own job.

I worked with Andrea Gann. We had a 30-45 minute meeting. She immediately got me an interview set up with a company in my area that paid within my requested pay range. Had a wonderful meeting with a rep at Morgan Hunter in Kansas City. The girl seemed professional, and knowledgeable. I left my interview with them thinking that Id get a call in about a week about opportunities in the area. (I have 14 years sales experience, and am a documented $1Million seller) Couple weeks go by, and theres no call. Okay, she said that she wasnt just gonna call me to chat... she just call me with opportunities. I went through their site, and found jobs that looked great! Emailed my rep about them. Silence. This started in February. Its now late Oct and theyve yet to EVER call me, write me, acknowledge me. Joke of an organization. My advice is to swallow your pride and do it yourself. Theyre a joke. Save yourself the headache of thinking they are going to help you.

WASTE OF TIME CAR SALE TACTICS. Unqualified and unprofessional. Bait and switch tactics. Lied about having a position then when I got there it was magically filled yet is still being advertised. The interviewer is unqualified for the field she was attempting to interview on and doesnt know much about the Legal field other than what she saw on Law and Order. To make matters worse she showed up wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Anyone that knows the legal field knows not to wear that to an interview. WASTE OF TIME!! MORE DISHONEST THAN A USED CAR SALESMAN! !

I am very disappointed with Morgan Freeman I dont know if they dont place African Americans in positions, or if my specific recruiter doesnt place African Americans. I signed up with them over 2 months ago I have worked for a company for 18 years and know I am more than qualified to do multi clerical Jobs or office management I have called my recruiter to see if any other positions were available she advised me nothing I look online and I see multi positions that I would qualify for I email her and no response so I tried calling her again with know return call so I tried again and she said nothing out there due to the holiday, however online it states they are recruiting for holiday work I understand Im not the only person looking for a job but some response would be nice. The reason I question discrimination is because I have a friend who is white who recommended this agency to me who came from the same company I came from with about 6 years less experience then I have and with reading the other reviews, It really makes me wonder what the overall mindset is at the organization. Im still currently looking for employment but since I have been on multi interviews with another agency and on my own If everything works out I will be back at work next week.

I have never had the pleasure of writing a positive review about an employment agency until now. I think it is imperative that you remain open, because when I had first signed up I really didnt expect Morgan Hunter to find anything for me. However, after my initial stint, and forming an amazing relationship with Adele, I cannot help but sing MHs praises. Working with Adele at Morgan Hunter was what I would deem a serendipitous experience. Adele did not make me feel like a mere client, but after a rough start, I believe we formed a wonderful bond. Adele was honest, caring, compassionate, professional, and empathetic. Adele was absolutely amazing, and is genuinely a decent human being. Just a wonderful person. After my last stint had finished in December, 2014, I called Morgan Hunter in January 2015, and Adele had me working the very same week(I was shocked). I had an interview with Melissa Rose the Sr. Recruiter at Morgan Hunter on August 30th Wednesday. She set me up for an interview with a job she already had in mind for me. I interviewed Thursday; Thursday afternoon she called and said they need you to come into work Tuesday and thats because of Labor Day. This lady,,,got me placed on my perfect job, within days. I had been unemployed since January,,,registered with just about every existing staffing agency in the metro area of Kansas city. Melissa the lady to see about getting you hired Right Now! Horrible experience!!!! They do not care about placing employees with opportunities. They only care about receiving their referral fees which range around $10,000 for every employee hired through their service. Save yourself the agony of dealing with a 3rd party agency and apply directly with the employer youre interested in working for.

I recently was told by my daughter, who is an graduate student from VCU, that she Looked like an 12.00 an hour girl what is that supposed to mean? They better fix this and their crew who seems to need a class or two in Ethical management. Before someone takes this FOIA to corporate and they get slammed with a suit or better yet have their doors closed. This is not how you treat a solider or their spouse! she came there from the Washington DC area relocating with her family to find work. She knows her worth and what is expected from her; and the change in the cost of living there. However, please believe me, do not assume you understand folks that come into your office when you do not personally know what they do or where they come from.Concerned Patron

This organization is a waste of time. They were dishonest with me multiple times. Unfortunately, Morgan Hunter isnt the only company in their industry that lacks integrity.

Very disappointed! I left my interview thinking I was going to receive a call within a week or two from my rep. Never heard back from her again.

I spoke with Geoff and he requested my resume. I sent our over weeks ago and have gotten no response. After several emails requesting an update, I give up.

VERY DISAPPOINTEDCame in to interview for a position. Left knowing I had 2-3 options. The next day I get an email the positions are no longer available.Never heard from them again.
