Very helpful store, also very knowledgeable. I told them what I needed for my computer to do and they directed me towards a computer that would do it very quickly and efficiently. The 3-year warranty is a little bit of Peace of mind. And the antivirus software is a 3-year version instead of a one.
Easily my favorite store to simply wander through and look at everything. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful, sometimes overly so. Best place for picking up computer parts and accessories in person.
Amazing tech store. Kansas is lucky to have this store in our state. Its basically the best tech store ever. And they price match?? Thats just so good man. Their workers are also really good and smart. If you need anything technology wise, go here, you will not regret it!!
I purchased a refurbished Dell computer that never powered up! $430 for noting more than a door stop! I purchased this for a young man that has an opportunity to go to college and needed a computer. Now I am out the $430. More importantly, this young man has no computer to start college. The chat on the website said it will take days for a live person to call my provided cell phone number. My best option is to drive to the store and see if they can do anything, once I pay a $40 diagnostic. There is no phone number for me to be able to call someone to see if there is anything I can do. The only option I have is to drive to the store to see if someone can help me, once I pay an additional $40 diagnostic fee. Matt Wallace is listed as the General Manager on my receipt. How about caring enough about your customers to; 1. not sell a piece of junk. 2. provide customer service.
Masks are required. Lots of wi-fi info; latest technology. Shelves well stocked, knowledgeable sales people. Several folks checking people out. Bathroom was clean!
The best service you will find!!! (And the best prices). I was helped by Glenn Simpson who did a phenomenal job of answering all of my questions about the different Windows devices. He probably helped me for an hour and a half in total. After the incredible service and prices I received, I look forward to revisiting Micro Center for all of my future tech needs.
Did the first ever exchange it was easy with no hassle. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff
Fantastic experience purchasing a laptop computer. I went online to reserve a refurbished MacBook Air, when I went to the store to purchase it I realized I hadn’t completed the order online. I was worried they might not have what I was looking for, so I went back and spoke with Jeff and he help me find the exact computer I was researching the night before but failed to reserve. These fellas are sharp and they will help you with any question you might have. They also have microphones.
My go-to place for my computer needs. They always have specials and sales going on that are worth checking.
I love Micro Center, but hate that their staff works off commissions and are constantly pestering you with stickers. Honestly it would be so much better if you did away with this system and just had helpful staff (as you already do).
First time shopping here. Needing 75 computers, monitors, keyboards and mouses. Ben was very informative, better pricing on name brands than internet or Dell website. All merchandise was available for purchase today even though I was just price checking. Ive found my new favorite computer superstore. Everything anyone would want. Price, unbelievable selection, instant availability. Plus service after your purchase. Very impressive computer warehouse SUPERSTORE...
Favorite store on planet Earth.Anything you could possibly want related to computers can be bought here and usually at an unbeatable price. Most of the staff are computer nerds who are helpful and extremely knowledgeable.
This is a great place to shop if youre looking to build a PC, even if its your first build! The employees are always there to help if you have any questions or if youre having trouble finding what youre looking for. My only complaint is the website could be improved for ease of user experience. The prices and availability could more accurately reflect whats at the store and they could offer more user preferences on the email updates they send out, like options on what specific products users want to receive updates on, but, overall Microcenter is amazing at what they do. 💪
Ive been going to Micro Center for 7+ years now, and it has never been less than pleasant. Microcenter is the only comission-based store Ive ever been to where it feels like the advisors want whats best for me, not the most expensive option. They are always kind, ready to assist, and recognize when you dont need any help and you are good on your own. My thanks goes out to the employees for helping me create my work-station/fun-station.
Decent prices and Great Service. They Have what you Need !
The place to go for any tech savvy or those in need of tech help. This place has a large selection of most anything you can think of for your gadget needs. Layout is open and nicely labeled. There are a multitude of options for any of your needs. On floor staff helps you find anything youre looking for, service center to help with repairs and questions, and online pickup makes ordering what you need a breeze. As a pc gamer I find this place my go to fit any pc parts. They also do price matching which has saved me time going to other places. If you are in need of anything tech this is the place to go.
Bright happy and with on going sales!! They are a good solid business, with Customer Friendly support/staff, who knows Anything about everything. I even talked my son in law into getting a store credit card and then, they gave him 10% off! Yaaaaaay ❤️! We all won!!!!7😘
Chad daniel, make this guy manager or something ive never seen somebody so passionate with their job and so caring. Dude helped us constantly with giving us details and it was a ton of work yet he still did it, this guy deserves a promotion, he has a perfect attitude and genuinely loves the art of gaming and being polite to people
Helpful, knowledgeable, and (mostly) friendly staff.Ive worked in the IT industry for 25+ years doing networking, storage, server, and virtualization systems. Ive built countless home systems. Whenever I need a specific item, Micro Center has it. And if theres a technical detail I need help with, MC staff either know the answer or can get it for me in short order. Its what Radio Shack, Circuit City, and Best Buy used to be.In the few years Ive been going to MC, I have run into a few staff that werent friendly, didnt want to help, were in a bad mood, or just were clueless, but they are definitely a small minority, and I suspect they are weeded out quickly. If you happen to get one of those people, just ask for someone else to help you.If you want a particular part or need technical help, Micro Center is the place to go.
Excellent service. Very knowledgeable.
The staff is always helpful and insightful for the information needed! Prices are generally good and they have great selection. Nice to be able to buy parts in person!
Great experience! Why go to the Apple store when you’ve got Micro Center! Everything you need in one place & extremely helpful, knowledgeable & friendly associates. Thanks Davey for making our iMac purchase fun.
Couldnt find a graphics card for msrp anywhere, been searching for months online. Amd released a new card and surprisingly MC had loads of them in store. Drove 2 hours to get there and snagged one. People were super friendly, and the stores overall tech selection made Topekas Best buy look like a pawn shop. 5/5 would drive 2 hours again.
I really enjoyed going to this place and just looking around but sometimes the employees trip over themselves to put stickers on your stuff that they didnt even help you pick out. Nor do they have the experience or wisdom to understand what it was I was wanted. Yet they still want to put a sticker on your stuff. The Apple staff seems fairly knowledgeable but they only understand what they sell they cant always think outside their own micro center box.
Just browsed around the computer monitor section for a while and I guess the people supposed to be helping customers were too into their conversations with each other to come help me. They weren’t helping anyone else, just standing there chatting with their arms folded while they watched me browse and walk right out of the front door. No “hello”, “can I help you with something” or even a “goodbye” from them. The lady at the register did tell me to “have a nice day” on my way out. Won’t be back and I still need a computer monitor. Just sad.
I have been a customer at this location for many, many years. However recently I have not been all pleased. I had my computer there in their tech shop for about a month all totaled. They thought they cured my issue (chronic shutdown and restart of the computer out of the blue...), said it was a power supply. Even though frustrated it took a month to get to this point, I gladly bought a new power supply and put it in. Get home and the issue STILL is happening. Now I have a call into the manager to call me back (he helped get me the right compatible power supply replacement), now its almost 5 hours later with nary a text much less a call. I wonder just what in the hell the tech REALLY did while they had my computer for a month??? Seriously. This is NOT the same customer service and store I use to get 10 years ago. Sad.
Best place for computer related thing! If it’s a pre built computer or wanting to build your own. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Just bought a computer online and it was a super simple fast process. Love this place.
Nearly everyone in this place is an actual enthusiast of some kind, and happy to help. Once I just needed an anti-static bag and they were out of stock, so a heroic Build-Your-Own PC salesperson jogged over to the service department and got me a spare. I didnt even buy anything that day. What more can I say? The service is incredible and this place will beat anybody for price and selection.
Great place to buy a laptop or really and computer related item. We were not sure if we wanted a chrome book or actual laptop and then when we decided on the laptop we didnt really know what we needed. The salesperson asked questions about what we were going to be using it for and then gave us a couple of options to choose from. After answering all our questions he walked us to the register to be rung up and to make sure we got the correct sales price. Highly recommend!
Always a great place. Microcenter is usually my first stop for electronics. Always friendly staff, people willing to help, and a good return it replacement policy especially with their coverage plans.
Best prices for all types of computers and tablets. I like to reserve online and pick up from the store. I have bought 10 computers from here and keep coming back. BTW there extender warranty really is no questions asked.
I love it, it has all the stuff I build for my PC. Huge discount I your a military member.
This is my 2nd Disney World-like place. (Costco is #1) Cant beat the selection of electronic parts and the return policy is darn near close to Costco as well. This is one of the places I dont mind getting the warranty at, because I trust it. Everyone is usually very helpful. The GPU market had kind of ruined things for everyone, but theyve finally adapted to the situation.
Had a great experience here the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable will definitely be coming back again
Been going here for two years since moving to the city. Always get amazing deals and customer service is always super attentive!Reserve a product online for store pickup today!
I bought a trash Lenovo tablet from Emily, the lying salesperson! It won’t download any of the apps I need for my graduate class, the microphone will only pick up your voice if you are directly facing it, and the camera is as basic as basic gets. I literally have to use my work computer to upload my assignments because my Lenovo can’t! I regret the day I walked into that store and trusted what they told me. I’ll never ever shop at Micro Center again. Don’t make the mistake I did!
They have way more products than I can ever use!Ive bought several Dell products - labtop and an all-in-one - along with their E-set protection products. Good value and good price.I also enjoy getting other products free or heavily discounted through their email coupons and specials. If you build your own computers or repair them, they have a great selection of parts and will work with you if they dont have enough for you in stock.Sometimes you have to find a more knowledgable salesperson on the floor, but their are several that really know their stuff. Whether youre you just need a computer, headphones or are serious about your programming and gaming, they offer a lot of options.
Knowledgeable staff. Great selection of electronics. Great return policy.
Friendly staff, knowledgeable, clean. This place is great, you can buy most computer components here, except maybe some 10 year old stuff. Easy check out, plenty of associates to help you find what you need. Love this place!
The Tustin location is a bare-bones shop with a decent selection and knowledgeable staff. They had store remodeling while I was there so keep that in mind if youre going any time soon.
Great service, prices, and had plenty in stock to choose from. Associate Alexis Fox was super helpful.
Knowledgeable people that help get you what you need. And decent prices
One individual in the service department could use a better attitude. Hes not a smart as he like to think he is. There floor help are great.
Look, is this the greatest tech store ever? No. The greatest in the area with in store deals? Yes. It’s amazing. I could blow my entire paycheck here. The staff isn’t as pushy as they used to be and are so helpful. Over the years I’ve done a few builds form here and with my kids getting older we’ve shared some bonding moments as a gamer dad raising gaming kids. I’m gearing up for my 4th build for my youngest sons first ever PC. We really like this place.
Wish this store was more inclusive, they have a huge display of white men who were instrumental in developing the computer, but women and people of color also were involved in computer development!!
Not a single aspect of this store isnt curated to a degree of professionalism that is anything less than stellar. The individual product specialists are very keen from chairs, to monitors, to individual parts, anyone here is there because they love everything tech, and their enthusiasm is palpable.I have yet to see another place that boasts a similar selection, too. And if they dont have it they can work with you to find it as well. Usually, its something they can easier than other competitors and still, its not even close.
We have bought two desktop towers and a laptop from Micro Center and have not been disappointed. This has become our go-to for anything computer related and is well worth the three plus hour drive from Wichita. Look forward to buying another tower from them when that time arrives.
Super satisfied first time customer! My GPU died in my 11 year old desktop and I figured I was doomed to wait forever on being able to build a new machine due to outrageous GPU prices. But after doing a little looking online I saw some pre-built PowerSpec options that looked decent.Moses Diaz did a great job helping to find a good fit for me. Though its a sales job he handled it the right way by giving me information and options without trying to strong arm me into making a purchase I didnt want. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. The system has been good so far. Build quality is good. And the price was actually close to what I would have paid for the components if I could actually buy them at msrp.Next time Im in the area Ill definitely be stopping by and you should too.
The only retail destination I can think of as a positive feeling these days.
I wish we had one of these in Wichita. It’s a Best Buy but on steroids. Great people working there, too.
Excellent customer service even during the middle of a rush to grab graphics cards during launch day (First time complete PC build with the 3060 so it was extraordinarily helpful). Well organized, plenty of product selection, and prices under those found on Amazon for similar products (no outrageous up sales and stated price limit for each item was worked with). Im definitely planning on making the 6-hour round trip from Omaha again if I need anything for my computer.
Micro Center is the best place to purchase electronics I have ever been to. They also have a great service department and very knowledgeable people working there.
I took a few laps of the store to see my first micro centerI was asked probably fifty six times if I needed help. I got the help I needed and didnt have to wait in line. Great place and great deals!
I am currently tracking the CEO of silicon. I promise my fellow PC enthusiasts we will rise up once more as the prices fall to MSRP.
Always love stopping here to check out PC parts whenever I’m in town! I don’t have a store like Micro Center near home, so it’s nice to actually talk to people and look around rather than order online
When I went in I had one of the associates helping me a whole bunch with comparing computer cases and AIOs and the like. She also ran around looking for a specific AIO only to find they had a bunch out in the open and it was just Lian Li being weird with packaging, as well as helping with case fans. She was amazing and I wish I got her name to praise her for her amazing work and really friendly demeanor.Go here if you need components for your PC.
Super helpful! Better than I imagined it could be.
Man oh man oh man. Id heard the great things, and finally made the pilgrimage. It was great! Now of only we had one in Omaha so I didnt have to go KC, and the bad part of KC at that...
Ive grown to really like this place. Good people. Be sure to go to their site and research a big purchase online and triangulate with a sales consultants advice before buying. Watch for upselling, but everybody theres really willing to help. Late weeknights are better than week_ends. Late-night is less busy and theyll stay open till youre done transacting. Generally, compare prices online before buying too, obviously. --Update.Nice place-usually. They are good about honoring their service contracts and return policies; the employees are knowledgable. I wish theyd give better information about their policies. The employees seem overworked and tired-such is the age of the Coronavirus: no harm, no foul there.
Best electronics spot in town a great staff and amazing selection of DIY hobbyists parts too!
Very nice store and helpful staff. I am only making it 4 star because I needed help with a refund, but I could not find their phone number anywhere. Its seems kind of ridiculous that its that hard to contact a store by phone. Not everyone wants to chat online with a worker.
Great variety, great prices, well organized store with great sale prices and many individually discounted items.
Store GM was super helpful & friendly. I was able to get exactly what I came for and pay within 15mins. Great store!
Good place to locally find parts and tools generally not found at the average tool shed. A bit pricy compared to an online vendor but hey, its brick and mortar with knowledgeable staff ready to help, unless they are super rush busy. This does happen at times, so timing is key.
Love this store, excellent business model. The in store only buys are much appreciated for the current scalping market. One con is that the website is slow on updating store stock so be sure to go early or call ahead to make sure its still in stock. Also the suggesting of warranties gets a little much at times. Im sure its because they probably make commission off these, but it might be a turn away for some.
The employees aren’t the most attentive, but this place has everything your Geek heart could desire!
If your a computer/electronics lover this is definitely the place for you they have everything you need to build a computer from scratch...well besides graphics cards🤷♂️
Got a monitor quick and easy at a great price!
Their pricing is great, but their customer service is poor. We purchased a very expensive TV and got home to find the screen was cracked. When we returned it, the manager told us to go see if they had another one, he wouldnt walk or call to the back to check his own inventory. Then the guy in the back came just short of accusing us of breaking the TV ourselves. Exiting the building they didnt offer to help load the TV. I called them on their service level and the MANAGER told me he couldnt see his inventory in the computer. I said you should probably walk back there yourself, he shrugged and went back to typing.
My grandpa loves the dilly micro ur awsome
Everyone was very helpful. A lot of items I did not expect to see.
Paid $799 for custom water looping for GPU and CPU. The reason I didnt go with a closed loop (the cheaper way), is because I was told you cant have clear tubing and it only for the CPU. So I paid extra for the custom loop. When the PC got here the GPU water loop was capped off, and the only thing that was water cooled is the CPU. So now I paid $799 for only a water cooled CPU??? I would of rather built my Pc with another company and got what I wanted. Mind you its over a $4,800 PC....
All your tech needs in one place. Definitely the place to buy SD cards. Literally a fraction of the cost of Best Buy or anywhere else for the same sizes.
Had about anything a person would want doing with computers nice people a little high but you can see what your getting
Good product selection. Hate their checkout line system.
This store is my go to for all things computer parts. Particularly when I need something quicker than Amazon can deliver. Theyre almost always busy but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and seem always willing to help out. Even someone with no tech experience would have a good time shopping around here.
I walked into the store, was asked by an associate near the front door if I would like hand sanitizer. I went directly to the department I needed, brought up the link on my phone to the product I wanted, and was promptly helped by David, who went and got what I requested, did not try to sell me something I did not want, and took my product to checkout, told me to let them know it was there for me. I was able to get what else I needed, check out with no problems, and was in and out in short order.
As always a great selection of hard to find electronics. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Parked, found what I needed and was out in 10 minutes.
Well stocked. Friendly service.
Love microcenter they always have what I need and price match
An IT oasis in an otherwise relatively barren midwest that my friends in other states are always jealous of.Ive never had any issues here outside of maybe something being out of stock. Always good prices, always helpful staff, and theyre being very careful to keep people healthy and happy.Highly recommend going here if youre in need of PC parts or just tech in general.
They are selling $1000, 6900XTs for $2650. This is exceptionally unethical. It is tantamount to the unscrupulous business practices of the Facebook Marketplace scammers. I was appalled to see this and questioned an employee. He stated that they were priced this way to, “prevent scammers from buying them.” Well, congratulations! You’ve prevented the average Joe from having one, too. Unbelievable. As much as I have enjoyed Micro Center over the past couple of years, this was enough to keep me from giving them my business in the future.
The best of its kind in the greater KC area and beyond. Has everything for tech/electronic/gadget needs. A usb storage haven. They also price match. Employees are knowledgeable and genuinely helpful.
I used to come here for every electronic need from phone chargers to TVs and computers. I dont live in this city anymore and I miss having this place nearby. I still try to do my big electronics purchases whenever Im in town because Im very tactile and Microcenter has WAY better deals than anyone else. Ive never had a single problem from any of their refurbished items either. The customer service is usually excellent but I will mention that Ive had many friends work here through the years so maybe my opinion is biased.
Came to by a offbrand ps4 controller that work very well the service could of been better!
Tons of employees hanging around but none helping with what customers need most. Online orders... Waited forever for an online order I had placed two hours earlier. Well, those people sitting around arent in the department that handles those orders. Need a new and more flexible staffing process
My husband loved this store. Hes kind of a computer geek, and he wanted a thousand things. The prices were really high.
Always amazing. Staff is knowledgeable and fast and takes time out to help you. Just great
Although I have bought hardware at MicroCenter before, without any problems, their computer repair service is abysmal. Cant talk with anyone on the phone, have to text back and forth, they dont follow up, dont even have a phone number. Will NEVER go back here. Customer service is beyond bad, its non-existent!!
I would normally give Micro Center 5 stars, they have always been great to deal with and have a very knowledgeable staff. But yesterday was the exception, I found an HP laptop on the website and my wife drove to the Overland Park store to purchase it. When I showed the sales person what I wanted he said he would go to the back and get it. It was an off lease laptop and not on display, which I knew from the website. He returned saying that the store did not have that laptop and proceeded to try sell me one of two other laptops in the same price range but did not have everything that I wanted. When I returned home I got back on the website put together my order including the laptop that was not at the store and 20 minutes later I was notified that my order was ready for pick up. So I got the laptop I wanted but it took two trips to the store to get it.
You guys really need to get your check out stuff worked out.. I was in line today behind eight people for 5 minutes and the line didnt move once.. I kept trying to talk to employees expressing how frustrating that was to try to get them to talk to her manager to ask for help or to at least apologize for the fact that obviously you guys need to make a better system because two people with large orders checking out shouldnt clog up the entire thing I was trying to buy a $300 camera and two other items I shouldnt have to wait half an hour in line to get the heck out of your store somebody with a order that large so maybe be checked out by that customer service thing or maybe when you see the line not moving and people getting frustrated you should say Im sorry sir were doing the best we can are are other people to help there are some other lady just walking in circles in the front area doing absolutely nothing do you need to cross train more people to be check out people because this is a consistent issue at your store. Also the gentleman upfront that finally did attention he gave me attitude he looked like a manager to me he was an additional help to the checkout guy I guess he was the sales guy helping the check out guy but all I could see was a whole lot of nothing the line not moving I had my one year old with me I dont have time to sit in a half hour line again the line didnt move a single person in 5 minutes there were eight people in front of me you do the math unacceptable ridiculous business practices I used to love the store but the attitude the guy gave me today...
Great, knowledgeable staff that will help you with anything. very nice website where you can see what aisle your product is in which helps to limit exposure during the pandemic. has a wide assortment of electronic parts for people from all variety’s, from wifi cables to building your own computer from scratch. very cool store.
Their broken website has lead not only myself, but others to the store under false hopes of a 3060 ti graphics card being available for purchase in store only. At the same time, theyve got some really great prices on the items they do have in stock, and the staff are generally friendly and helpful. Theyre great people, but it seems like someone needs to talk with IT about the inventory problem.
Product availability is great as always. Unfortunately, customer service was no where to be found. After walking around the monitor section making several laps through for about 20 minutes, we saw several employees walking by not even saying hi, we had to flag someone down. We got the item we were seeking. Then on to another department...no assistance there either....head to the cash registers to pay for the $800 monitor and the cashier seemed to hate being there, no greeting, is this all ....and that was basically the extent of communication.....was something wrong? Do these people really despise their jobs that much?*** EDIT*** Two nights later my buddy and I are back in Microcenter. Instantly greeted at the door, greeted by staff as we walk through isles and if we hovered around too long, we were asked if there was something in particular we needed and arent finding. We had ordered some Monitors online, made our way over to pick them up....BEST staff ever over at pick up. Michael B and Melody at customer service counter and Jacob B from another department were the absolute best. They tried to get the open box monitor I was buying to work and worked with us. Even a shout out to the manager who didnt like Monster drinks (said they smelled like baby wipes) all were great to deal with and we had a wonderful time. They truly redeemed the company experience and put some normalcy into what I am used to seeing a Microcenter when we go there. Thanks guys!!!
SO MANY memories of this place! lines always been a bit long but its worth it to pick up a new mousepad (my latest purchase) or a new graphics card. i always loved the staff here, theyre geeks like me but also work hard
Went here yesterday after being burned at Best Buy. What a great experience. Staff was knowledgeable and directed me to exactly what I needed with trying to upsell my on anything I didnt. Great laptop for a great price. Id send my grandma in to the store to be taken care of.
Good deals on sale items. LOTS of electronics.
