Drew and Laurence were efficient, thorough and professional in cleaning my carpets. They wore a mask, for which we are grateful. If there’s an issue, they encourage customers to call and they will come back out, but I’ve never had the need. They do a great job the first time!

We had four rooms cleaned plus the grout in a tile floor. The crew was great—thru called ahead to let me know they were on the way. Arrived promptly/on time for appointment. Two guys shared the work. Were careful with furniture. Explained drying time and warned about slipping/falling. Friendly. Respectful. Clean cut. Definitely recommend them.

What a total waste of time! Booked an appt. 2 weeks out to have two rooms cleaned. Had a conflict arise, called the office the day before to see if we could push our start time from 9am to 10am, lady that answered the phone was worthless! In a very rude way she proceeded to tell me that the technician had to start at 9am, no flexibility at all, very, very tight schedule. We went out of our way to re schedule an a/c and Furnace install at a home we own, then, technician called at 9 and told me he wouldn’t be here until 9:40! They refused to price cleaning over the phone, I finally got the price over the phone from the technician, $240! New York City pricing, plus they can’t be on time, plus you have to deal with a lady who comes across as a Bulldog with lipstick! Called a competitor and have it scheduled tomorrow for $110. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS CARPET CLEANING BUSINESS!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

We had a bathroom full of light-colored tile and grout that had years of dirt that had been tough to remove through traditional cleaning methods each week. Finally had the floor steamed, and were so pleased with the results! Highly recommend this process for tile and stone cleaning.Scheduling was easy, and while the service window is a pretty wide one (4 hour period offered, which can mean a large section of day having to be set aside, not knowing when the service might actually occur until the day of), steaming and cleaning was quick, professionally performed, and respectful of our home and belongings.I asked the employees if they would have worn masks if asked (my husband and I have both been vaccinated, and have no children in our home, so we arent asking folks to mask any longer in our home), and they were totally prepared to do so. Very easy to schedule, accurate bidding. Everyone showed up on time, called at least 1/2 hour ahead and used safety measures to protect my floors and railings while cleaning. Excellent experience. Highly recommend. Carpets were clean and soft at the end. The only crunchy places were where I had tried to clean a prior spill and used the wrong cleaner (my fault!).

They cleaned an area rug, the carpeted stairs, 4 chairs, and the tile floors and the epoxy garage floor. The grout looks so much better. The arms of the upholstered chairs were heavily soiled but they got it out. They were very detail oriented and explained everything, especially about the grout. They worked very hard. Theyre very thorough. They were here from 9-4.They were not the lowest bid I got, but we are extremely pleased and will use them again.

The service I got from Bocks was excellent all the way from a timely free estimate to two very helpful and professional cleaners who showed up right on time. The carpet changed from what I thought was ruined to looking very decent. They also restretch carpet. I only discover after they left that the guys had even cleaned an area of floor that was not carpeted. A pleasant surprise!

I had Bock’s clean urine stains (from a a guest’s pet) that appeared on my white couch and white carpeting. I was concerned that these large stains were permanent but team was able to get the stains to disappear. My couch and carpet look almost brand new! I also had them clean several area rugs and the carpeting throughout the rest of the house. They were able to get grease, coffee stains and dirt from foot traffic removed without a problem. The team was professional, informative, and lovely to work with. I highly recommend Bock’s Steam Star.

Great experience. Friendly and professional. My only complaint is not knowing that the paper they give you as a quote also becomes the receipt. If I had known that, I would have kept it in a better location. Instead, it got packed with my household goods and I needed the receipt to show for moving purposes. I was able to contact them and have them email me a copy. It would be nice if you tell people this at the time of the quote.

Before choosing Bocks Steam Star I researched a couple of companies. I was impressed with Bocks website and how they seemed to be completely customer service focused, so I decided to go with them. When scheduling I made sure to tell them I was not in a hurry and was scheduled for early afternoon on a Monday (about 10 days from the time I called the company). I was not told who the technician would be or a more specific time, despite being scheduled out over a week later. The technicians were courteous and the work was completed very quickly. The problem came when they were leaving. The technicians poured out some of their cleaning solution in my yard and killed a section of the grass. A day or two after the large spot died, other spots started showing up. You can look at the photos below if interested. When I was sent this survey link it gave me three options: 1. Completely satisfied. 2. Content but not thrilled. 3. Not happy. I initially went with option 2 and have been waiting for several days to see if the company would contact me to discuss my concerns. So far I have not heard from them. My purpose in writing this is to let others know that if you want something done quickly and dont mind some shortcuts being taken then you will have a quality product at a standard industry price. If you would like to see some additional care being taken to make sure the cleaning hoses are not run through the yard, interior walls are being protected when moving from room to room, and any extra solution is disposed of off site, you might consider using a different company.Hope this helps.Follow-up: I heard back from the Bocks team and they have made repairs to the yard. I appreciate their willingness to make things right.

So, the guys came out and did the carpet cleaning and by the evening it was obvious it wasnt quite done right. One call and they guys came out the next afternoon and redid it all. Clean, respectful crew provided a courtesy call that they were on their way. They came in and got right to work; the carpets look great and smell so much better (I have a teenage son and a dog)!! Do note, that the carpets stayed damp/wet for about 24 hours which is fine if you prepare for it.

Amazing experience!! Our 75 lbs dog had an upset stomach last night and got sick everywhere. Poor girl had it out of both ends. We did our best to hand clean it and were not successful. I called Bock’s this morning and spoke with Phil who handled our situation with care and urgency and sent a team out to us within two hours (they were busy and worked us in). Michael and Jesse called and gave me a one hour heads up before arrival and did a fantastic job!! They even lifted up the couches and cleaned under them which had never been done before by cleaners in the past. I could hear them laughing while working and communicating about their next scheduled visit and managing their time. Absolutely amazing. I really feel relieved I had such amazing people to help us out today and can not compliment them enough.

Bocks Steam Star is absolutely the best carpet cleaning service in the KC metro area! They are true professionals that do an amazing job of cleaning carpets and area rugs. My carpets look like brand new when they leave.

The cleaning crew arrived right on time and were directed to the areas to be cleaned and stretched. They immediately prepared the area to be stretched and did a vacuum of all of the rest (main floor and downstairs). Cleaning of the downstairs was begun while the stretching was being implemented on the main floor. Upon completion of the stretching, that area was cleaned. All movable furniture were given plastic pads to be used until drying was complete. The entire process was done with precision and quality. I have never used a company that were so thorough and professional. Thanks for such a great job!

The beginning of my experience at Bock’s was great. Brian came out and gave me an estimate and the first cleaning of my carpets went well. After a few days the smell of the carpets in a bedroom smelled wretched, so the guys came back out and cleaned them again with less water this time. After the guys left, I then had a large brown spot appear in another room. I tried to remove it myself so I didn’t have to have the guys come out again, but it did not come out. I played phone tag for about a week with one of the managers, Philip, who I finally was able to talk to. From the start of the conversation he was very rude and condescending and ended the phone call on me. He told me that I should have had the guys treat the brown spot when they were the second time even though the spot had not appeared yet and said they will not be coming to treat it. Not a happy customer!:(

Wonderful experience! My rugs were picked up within two days of my calling Bocks. The customer service by both Amy (answered phone) and Phil (picked up & returned rugs) was impeccable. It was actively snowing the day they came to return them to me. Phil shoveled the walk up to my door and a portion of the driveway because he didnt want to track it into my house.The rugs are very clean and smell great. Bock’s isn’t the least costly, however, they do fall within range of the other bids I’ve received.What I like about Bock’s is their work ethic. They always call before arriving, arrive promptly on time, come dressed professionally and wear protective covering for their shoes. Once at work, theyve always done exactly what we’ve agreed on and then they go non-stop, scrubbing hard to get as much dirt from the rugs as possible! A bonus feature is that all of Bock’s technicians that I have encountered were all been very polite and easy to communicate with. Nice going Bock’s, I’ll be calling you for my next cleaning. Wow! So impressed! As per typical “carpet emergency”, I am having a Christmas party this weekend. As per typical when such an occasion arises, the great big dog gets sick and has the big D all over my beautiful cream-colored carpets (pet owners, you KNOW what I’m talking about!) Store-bought carpet cleaning agents didn’t do anything. In panic mode, I called Bock’s Steam Star as a friend recommended them to me. The gentleman who took my call was so understanding and said he had one crew that could fit me (and my stained carpets) later on THAT SAME AFTERNOON. Wow! I got a call 30 minutes before the two fabulous employees showed up at my door, and they did a fantastic job. No promises were made (stained pretty bad) but got it completely cleaned and the carpet looked like NEW again! They also cleaned 3 “spots” from carpet in different rooms that have been there since I moved into this house in June. I cannot recommend them enough. Carpets were clean/spot-free and not overly wet like so many companies leave them to be. Beware, no estimates on phone so they can get there and charge an arm and a leg! $245 for a U sectional and one room carpet AND thats with new customer 30% off! Very distasteful. They know youre going to be eager to get cleaning done while there giving estimate. Dishonest business practice. Guys cleaning were very kind and Im embarrassed they are embarrassed at high prices. Maybe owner should take a pay cut to pay his employees well instead of gouging his customers and trying to be sly. Taking advantage of the public isnt cool. You can disclose details over phone. There isnt that much to it. Its a sectional and carpet not rocket science.

I recently had my carpets cleaned by Danny and John at Bocks Steam Star. They did an exceptional job.
