We were extremely happy with Built by Designs work on our basement. They were professional from start to finish and provided a great final product. They were always responsive and worked with us when we changed our mind on some of the finishes. Their crew was top notch. The ability to map everything out and virtually see a final product really helped in the design. They also gave us a few ideas that we would have never come up with on our own. We highly recommend them and will use them again!

From my very first phone call to contractors, Built by Design was the only one to give me some idea of what costs are to finish off my basement. At my first meeting Dave, we talked about ideas and what I was looking for and was offered suggestions that I didnt even think about. At our second meeting, Dave came in with a computer rendering of what he suggested and played out costs to do everything we were looking for. From there Kristen took over as project manager and I could not be happier with the way she handled the build. Step by step she laid out what was being done and the time frame for completion. Her construction crews were the best and made us feel very comfortable working with them. The overall budget for the project was right in line with our thoughts and the allowances that we were given to complete each step allowed us to get top quality products. I can honestly say this was probably one of the best experiences Ive had working with a contractor. We used Built By Design to finish our basement. After getting bids and plans from three different remodeling groups, it came down to Built By Design and one other remodeler. The prices were identical, but we loved working with Dave and felt he had the best vision for our project. The whole process went incredibly smooth, communication was excellent, and the contractors were all extremely professional and the work top notch. I wouldnt hesitate to use any of the contractors again in the future, the painters and tile folks did especially fabulous work. Project finished on time, and everyone weve shown the space to have been incredibly impressed.

We have known Dave and Mike for 12 years. They have remodeled two bathrooms, our kitchen, and added a sunroom onto our house. Very easy to work with these great guys. The designing might be great, but the built by design truck drives extremely violently on the road and almost hit us. How is it possible for one to almost back into someone when they have a backup camera? Oh just ask them. #rip
