I would recommend this company they are the absolute best people. Fast efficient and. Professional. My family was overwhelmed so stressed out from the moment we decided to go with busybeever it was a huge weight lifted from our shoulders. They were honest and very thorough the girls found some jewelry we were missing and they made sure we knew that they found it. When we arrived at my parents house they had a pile of personal items set aside for us. That means so much to me that it wasnt thrown away and it wasnt just added to the other sale items. They took great care with our parents house and its contents. Thank you girls!!

I called several estate companies they were not helpful just seemed rude.This company has been a blessing For me I was in a different country when I first talked to them, immediately they began helping me get everything together. They met with everyone for me and had a plan so we got a consultation as soon as my plane landed. They were more than just an estate sale company. They tirelessly made it possible. They made it so everything was attended too while I was in the country. The other places I called didn’t want to help me. Said they couldn’t do anything until I was there and were unwilling to even listen. This family was there from the moment we first spoke. I say family because they all worked together to make me feel like they were with me. They arranged everything and even played a huge part in getting the place sold so from start to finish they got the place together and. Liquidated and lastly spotless and in the hands of the new owner before I got on the plane back to Jordan. Wow! I dont even know where to start. Losing a loved one is very difficult. Taking on the task of going through all of their belongings is overwhelming. Busy Beever did such a great job and made this process as painless as possible for my wife and I. From beginning to end they did such a great job. They were transparent in everything that they did. From setup, parking, organizing, securing our belongings, snow removal, neighbors, etc... The staff are friendly and knowledgable. We are so grateful that we found Busy Beever.

I meant to post my favorable review of Busy Beever Estate Sales soon after our sale was ended in May, but probably like most people I got distracted by other life activities.I consider myself a reasonable and not a high maintenance person with reasonable expectations and was very pleased to work with Busy Beever Estate Sales for my in-laws estate sale. As with any review, I try to determine what type of person is leaving the review and most of the time people are quick to leave negative reviews and are either delayed or forget all together to leave a positive review.I am not an Estate Sale aficionado, but learned from evaluating Estate Sale companies what kind of valuable items you have before they will even consider doing your estate sale and realized many companies only want to work with you when you have fewer/high-dollar items to sell. My mother-in-law should have been a professional interior designer with all the decor items she had available to sell. There were enough items to decorate three homes!Busy Beever Estate Sales was up for the challenge and maintained positive / open-communication with us and was highly flexible when suggesting we have more than the usual 3-day Estate Sale in order to ensure we sold as much of the folks items vs trashing or giving the items away. They worked on their days off to make this happen.We felt like the staff was an extension of the family in protecting items from being broken or stolen and not accepting some of the insulting offers on already very reasonable priced items. When an offer was in question they didnt hesitate to contact family members whether they were on property or by phone. Busy Beever is confident in their business that they have no issues with family being around.Once we all agreed the sale should be over, their clean-up crew was fabulous as we had a cleaned house for the next stage of selling the home.Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but we dont hesitate to recommend Busy Beever Estate Sales. These are hard working people with compassion and integrity not getting rich off other peoples belongings. I wouldnt hesitate to work with them again!

These guys are great!! Professional, polite, funny, down to earth, helpful, I could go on. They set up everything very nicely and take care of it (example: they even had extra support under a rug in effort to not damage the coffee table/rug). They’re on top of things even when they’re busy; marking things sold, handling helping people take stuff out, cashing them out. It’s a lot to manage and they do it well and with a smile on their face! We are new to the area and needless to say, it was a great first experience. Will definitely be visiting their sales in the future!

My husband chose to inform other readers about our experience we had with my mothers auction held by Busy Beever on another review forum. Instead of taking that information as useful, constructive feedback to better serve their future clients, the owner, Gabrielle, publicly and aggressively lashed out towards our family with multiple slanderous and false accusations, including saying that my recently widowed mother was being dishonest in her review/reply. My only goal here is to make other people aware that the fact that Busy Beever chose to react in that manner reflects, not only on the way they handle their business, but also on their own personal character.I will also try to summarize our whole experience in as few words as I can for other readers doing their research - The staff that spent days going through and organizing all of the belongings did an exceptional job. They were very friendly and very respectful of my mother during such a difficult time in her life. The whole process of all the details leading up to the auction, for the most part, went smooth and accordingly. It unfortunately stormed the day of, making everything more hurried, which in turn caused disorganization, parking more of an issue and put more pressure on the limited amount of staff that was present. Multiple family members stepped in and helped with the proceedings, including traffic control, watching over valuable items in separate areas of the estate and diffusing a situation involving an intoxicated buyer. Everybody, staff included, was trying their best to deal with what Mother Nature was throwing at us.At the point where the big ticket item (a classic car) did not sell is where, in my opinion, things took a turn. Steve was no longer helping the auctioneer with items that were still left...he was on his phone the entire rest of the day. This caused several auction items to be overlooked and not auctioned off.As things were getting more and more disorganized, several people began telling us and the staff that they witnessed a buyer accidentally drop an item that hit the classic car being auctioned and ultimately scratched the paint. All while this was going on, there were also buyers trying to pick up their items all at once which caused traffic jams along the one-lane driveway which resulted with multiple ruts in the yard. Both incidents thankfully ended positively, but without going into detail, the whole procedure to get to that result and the demeanor as to which it was done, in my opinion, was unprofessional and could have been avoided all together if there was more security/staff to keep people distanced from the highly valuable car and to keep vehicles off the grass.Getting payment later than expected (16 days) was blamed on the mail system, which could be true, but just wanted to state the fact. Three weeks after the auction the remaining tables and trash that were left were picked up.An honest customer review is not a personal attack. Review forums are here to let potential clients know of others past experiences, good and bad. The forums should also hopefully help the businesses learn and grow from the reviews, good and bad.

We recently found ourselves in needing to (quickly) sell my father-in-laws home and have an estate sale in order to move him to be closer to family after a fall at home and brief hospitalization. I did some research online and found Busy Beever. Their reviews/ratings were excellent and I felt their pricing strategy to be fair and competitive. We managed the entire process via phone calls and texts - which worked out beautifully for us - as we were able to focus on getting my father-in-law settled in his new apartment. Gabrielle and her team took charge - sorting, organizing and pricing 20 years of accumulated things. As they sorted, they placed anything they came across of personal value (paperwork, photographs, etc.) into a designated spot for us to pick up prior to the sale. We heard from neighbors who attended the sale that the event was well organized and they had taken extra precautions such as placing plastic runners throughout the house to protect carpeting/flooring. After the close of the sale, we opted to have Shauna take all of the remaining items and clean out the home so that it was ready for the new owners. Upon closing of the auction, we received a detailed, itemized list of all items sold and a check that was much larger than we expected. We had excellent communication through the entire process, despite being relatively hands off. Would highly recommend Gabrielle and her team.

My wife and I had quite a few antiques ranging from small items to larger pieces of furniture that had been passed down to us by our parents. As we are downsizing, it was time for us to try to move the items, and Busy Beever stepped right in and walked us through the process from start to finish. Overall, we would consider it a success. While it was a time consuming process (no fault of Busy Beever), generally things went very smoothly. Gabrielle and her staff worked very hard to ensure we were taken care of. What impressed us the most was the care and respect shown to the items placed in the sale. You cant put a price tag on pieces with sentimental value, and they packed/displayed/priced the goods as if they belonged to them. With all the glassware we had, I was stunned that not a single piece was damaged during the process. Very patient and thorough. Be sure to ask lots of questions, and youll feel more comfortable as time goes on. Wed definitely recommend contacting them if faced with a situation similar to ours.

I went to one of their sales two days in a row. Both days the guy working the front table was rude and mouthy with me. He got angry when I was adding my purchases along with him. He got mad and told me to stop. When I said I always add up my purchases he told me not to tell him what to do, that he was an adult and talked very harshly to me in front of my young child. I will never go to another one of their sales.

Busy Beever helped me out so much. It is a long story but I had lived in my house for 30 years, and raised a son and daughter here in Olathe KS. I had finally paid off my 30 year mortgage and after the divorce a few years earlier I was ready to move on. But my story is more complex than just that. My mother and stepdad had owned an antique store since about the time I graduated high school until about 15 years ago now. I was a picker for them and after they sold the store I mostly stopped picking. But after the divorce I had some free time and started picking again. One of the estate sale companies I always tried to go to was Busy Beever. So I had accumulated a large collection and a vast array of items. I didn’t contact them until very near my moving date. By then it was too late to have a sale at my house. I asked them to see if they could put this in another sale they had coming up and they were able to do that for me! I was very happy with the results!

The worst experience from one of the rudest people I’ve met. Horrible pricing, does not know fine things from trash. So much back talk and scolding us for giving her (Lori) nothing but “scrap crap” then she made $23k and will not deliver our portion of the sale. She said it’s “not her job to run around and deliver money”. Called me “quite a piece of work” when I told her I was disappointed.

I am the Trustee for an estate that came with a home and lots of stuff! I was entrusted to liquidated assets and distribute proceeds to various beneficiaries. As a non-family member this has been stressful. Busy Beever came highly recommended to me so I contacted them for a free estimate. Their fee seemed very competitive...some slightly higher some slightly lower. But without question, worth every penny. The estate has several collectibles, antique furniture, smalls, etc and Gabrielle and her team came in with the upmost professionalism and respect to properly price every item in order to get the most $ in the quickest fashion, brining in appraisers with decades of experience for each item.
