We had an excellent experience with Summit Heating & Cooling. Mike gave us a great estimate on what we needed done. He walked us through the payment process, which was extremely easy to navigate. Nick and Javier did a fantastic job installing everything and explaining to us, step-by-step, how to operate our new systems. Justin came out the next day to inspect everything that was installed. We appreciated having a second set of eyes to double check the work that was done. I have not heard of companies doing that before and it really is a comfort to know the company fully guarantees the proper installation and maintenance of the work done. Every single person involved in the project was friendly, respectful and answered all our questions. And a huge thank you to those working in the office who took care of all the paperwork and scheduling involved. You all are VERY much appreciated!

By far the best company Ive ever used. Exceptional quality, communication, service, speed, and more. I tell everyone how amazing these guys are on every level. Mike who came out to give us a quote and tell us what we need for our house. The installers for doing such a great job removing all of the old equipment, installing the new equipment. It looks super clean and very professional. They left the HVAC area spotless way cleaner than it was before. They then had Justin from their quality department come out and do an inspection to make sure its working properly and fix any existing issues with the new system. He walked through the new thermostat and water heater settings. I will always be a lifelong customer of Summit.

I had a whole house humidifier installed on my existing furnace. I’m very very pleased with Summit. No one else could touch them on the price and the technician was top notch. He’d been to my home a few months before to perform a furnace tuneup. When I requested that he install the humidifier they easily accommodated my request.

These guys are great. Professional, honest, and fairly priced. We originally tried to get our AC unit repaired by a larger company, but the quote was outrageous and they were dishonest. Working with Summit was a breath of fresh air, and they did excellent work.

Clearly this place doesn’t need another five star review but here I am. They were so responsive to our call and were at out home in less than 12 hours, though they did offer to send someone out at midnight. The tech was super helpful and explained everything to my husband and was clear on prices. He fixed it in under an hour. Casey, Nate & Dillon were sent out to our home to install two new HVAC systems. They were professional and worked long, hard days to get the system installed, tested and working timely. All 3 went out of their way to answer questions and get concerns or requests handled to satisfaction. We decided to upgrade thermostats midway through the install and Casey was very helpful providing some extra attention to detail and customer concerns/questions to make sure the final result was good. The impression is that Summit wants its customers to be happy and feel like they got a value when the install is complete.

It was time to replace my old system with a new AC unit so I called Summit. They got me an appointment right away, and the next day Victor came out and looked over my old one and gave me some options for replacement. He was very knowledgeable and took time to explain and answer all of my questions. We set up an install date and they worked with my schedule to make it happen. They sent 3 technicians to get the old one removed and the new one installed all in one day! Mike, Dillon, and Nate were fantastic, professional, and efficient. They did a super job. After 25 years, it was time for a replacement on my AC & furnace units. Since I was not pressured to get a replacement right away, I researched extensively HVAC companies in the area to find the right fit for my wallet and future maintenance service the heating and cooling company would provide with their annual inspections. Out of 5 companies interviewed and bids provided, I selected Summit Heating & Cooling. First Summit had an excellent representative, Mike, to come out. We spent almost 90 minutes to go over the units they had and to narrow down which AC and furnace units would be best for my home. Mike was very courteous and nice and made it a special point to wear a mask and shoe protectors during the whole time. He is very easy to talk to and was able to answer all of my questions. He provided a bid and never pressured me to go with Summit. Once I settled on Summit, as a result of their great product line and fairness in price, Mike set an installation appointment convenient to my schedule. Even though Mike assured me that the units would be installed correctly and tested before the installers left the premise, Summit has an additional service in which a separate technician would come out usually within 48 hours to re-inspect the whole installation and re-test the units. This extra service actually swayed me to select Summit. The other 4 companies do not offer this service to make sure that all is perfect on your new installation. The installers, Nick, Ryan and Michael arrived on time and were very polite and professional during the whole installation process. They were very efficient and never wasted any time during the installation. They completed everything in one day, tested both units before leaving, and did a superb job on cleanup. The only thing they were unable to complete was to switch out my current AC fuse breaker from a 50amp to a 30amp. Unfortunately, Covid has caused a shortage on 30 amp breakers in the KC area and had to order one. If I had a second home and needed another AC and furnace installed, I would request these installers again. They are a great team! As expected, Summit had their inspector, Justin Stinnett, come out in a couple of days who reinspected and tested both units from top to bottom. Justin is very kind and polite and really knows his profession well. Great guy and tech! And just recently, Summit had another technician, named Street, to come out and switch out the switch breaker on the AC unit. Street is also a great guy, kind, and very professional. Like all of the other named technicians, he was on time for the appointment and called before coming out to my residence. Street answered all of my questions and was very thorough in his answers. Overall, Im very satisfied with Summit and really believe that I made the right choice in selecting them to perform the installation. They are definitely a 5 star out of 5 company and I highly recommend them!!! I look forward to having Summit perform the annual maintenance over the life of the units! To all techs involved, Great Job You Guys!!!

Had a bad TXV valve diagnosed during my regular spring AC checkup. It’s a pricey item, so I checked around town and found that Summit’s price was good, so I scheduled the repair. The original tech, Jeffrey Ludvicek, arrived along with Street Parrish, a guy who knows some tricks in diagnosing TXVs. Something tells me he might also be able to find water with a forked stick and cure migraines with tree bark. It turns out that cool weather can make diagnosis tricky. After some more testing, my TXV proved to be just fine, saving me beer money for the rest of the year. This kind of customer-centered approach (double checking rather than just doing the work and pocketing the dough) is so rare, I wanted to point it out as exemplary. Well done, guys. Now, do you think you could help me locate a good spot for a well?

We had Summit heating and cooling replace our HVA system in 2019. It has run flawlessly. We’ve also use them for scheduled maintenance. Today we had a scheduled maintenance visit from Jeffrey The technician called 15 minutes prior to his arrival. He was professional arrived and on time. On arrival he was masked with appropriate PPE and put on shoe covers at the front door.We went directly to the furnace where he worked in an orderly and efficient manner. He answered specific questions politely and knowledgeably.Jeffrey also offered a new product that could be added on to our system. He explained its purpose and benefits. I made some notes and told him I’d like to do further research on the product. There was no pressure for sale on the item today which I appreciated.All in all it was a very good experience. Thank you Jeffrey and thank you Summit for a job well done.

I didnt have heat. I called at 8 AM, I had heat by 10 AM. Jeffrey L. diagnosed the problem, found something that would cause an issue in the future and kept me updated as he was doing my repairs. Money well spent on polite efficient service.

I had Mike Barker out to give me a quote on a new HVAC system. He was prompt and professional. He spoke to me honestly, not as a salesman, but as a human, and told me I was probably another 2 or even 4 years away from needing a replacement, despite what I had been told by others. Mike and Justin were professional from start to finish.Called me in the morning to let me know that they were on their way with an ETA.Explained the process thoroughly and answered any questions I had.They wasted no time getting the old system ripped out and getting the new system installed.No mess to clean up after them. He replaced it at no charge. Im so very happy with the way Summit heating and air has taken care of us and I would highly recommend them.

Jeffrey came by EARLY and VERY KIND! Working from home has been hectic! I did catch the original phone call to schedule my maintenance for the winter. Lovely young lady, a gem to talk with! I was surprised that they could get out NEXT DAY! It was 12/22 and they got me in 12/23. I choose the later time because of working from home has been fun... I happened to be on a coaching call with one of my team members and I declined the call with the default, Sorry, cant talk right now decline message. To my surprise and delight! Jeffrey, texted back saying he was nearby if I was available to have him over sooner. I texted him back, Sure! Im on the phone but text me when you arrive and Ill open the door. He texted me when he was 10 minutes out and then arrived in 10 minutes! He texted me when he got here. I was in the middle of a meeting on the computer, coaching in a chat, AND a phone call with a client! He was attentive, respectful, and very efficient! I poked my head out in the garage to make sure all was good and he said, everything is great! I just need to check the attic and Im done! Oh and I marked the airflow direction on your filters for you, for a long time I didnt know it was required. He didnt make me feel bad about having the filter in backwards LOL!... When our A/C wasnt keeping up with the heat, Summit was able to get us an appointment lined up within the week. The tech Jeffrey was right on time, worked fast, and got things cooling again. Very pleased with the service!

Our furnace went out a few months ago, and Luis walked me through how to test what I thought the problem was over the phone at no charge to us. When the furnace went out again about a month later, they came out and looked at it multiple times, and finally isolated the issue when other people couldnt figure it out. They didnt try to sell us unnecessary services or parts, their prices are more than reasonable, and they were able to keep us from having to purchase an entirely new furnace. If we ever have any additional problems and/or when we do replace the furnace, Summit Heating and Cooling will absolutely be getting our business-theyve gained a customer for life! Got home froM work about 3:00 and noticed my A/C wasn’t cooling the house. Called Summit and Krista (I think) answered the phone. I told her what was going on and that I needed service. She said she could have someone out between 4-6 today if that would soon enough! Uh, yes, that’s only an hour from now, can’t get much sooner than that. About 15 min later the tech, Jeffrey Ludvicek called me. Walked me through a couple of things to give him and idea of what was going on with system and he point on like he already knew what the issue was. Said he’d be here in about 30 min. Sure enough, showed up right on time. Introduced himself, handed me a business card, was all set up with mask and show covers. Showed him the unit and he went to town. Checked it all over thoroughly and said the only thing he could find that might have caused it to freeze up was the filter was a little too dirty even though he thought it still had life on it (this was one of the possible issues he mentioned when he called). He checked the outside unit, found a contactor that he said was wearing. He recommended replacing it but said that wasn’t causing the issue today. Finished everything up, made sure the unit was running and cooling properly and now I’m sitting in a cooling house. Thank you Jeffrey for your promptness and professionalism. Never dealt with anyone with this company that wasn’t the same way. Summit has had my business for a couple years now because of their service and prices (I’m sure there might be someone who would be cheaper but their prices are really good and if you factor that into the kind of service they provide then they’re absolutely outstanding). You can’t go wrong and won’t be disappointed if you give Summit your business. Love these guys! Thanks Summit!

I cant sing the praises of Summit Heating and cooling enough. Theyre so incredibly nice when you call in to the office. The techs are knowledgable and do a good job of explaining to someone who doesnt know the ins and outs of HVAC systems. My husband and I used their services a few months ago as we were closing on our home that we sold. Summit installed my hvac when I purchased a new home. They make regular service checks to insure everything’s tip-top. I haven’t experienced any issues with my new system, but I recently asked a tech for his advice on an unrelated home maintenance issue. He stayed at least another hour to investigate the problem and helped me find the solution, though it had nothing to do with his job. Homeboy was like a GD encyclopedia and it cost me nothing.
