Fast and professional service on my dryer.I would like to have a detailed itemized invoice, the company does not take American Express credit card which is also disappointing and some conflicting communication between the booking and the invoice.I will use again.

I thought I would need a new refrigerator, but they fixed it for very little cost. They are so honest... I will use them for my heating and cooling from now on, too!

Our second experience, dishwasher repair, was as prompt and well done as the first, refrigerator repair. Kurt, our serviceman, was well informed, efficient and courteous. Everything was handled promptly the same day at a reasonable cost. I would recommend them highly.

I was completely impressed with the kindness and honesty with Abbey. I greatly appreciate their work ethic. Kurt was easy to speak to and was beyond courteous and priced fairly. We will definitley be calling again when needed.

Called this (Abbey Heating and Cooling in Kansas City) company for a washing machine repair.Their service call advertised as $49.00Owner Kurt come and diagnose the problem, told he had the part for pump in his truck for $20.Did the repair and gave a bill of $207.04 for a repair.Pump is $25.00 at Sears store (charge $171.00) 3 hose is $6.00 (he used a used hose from his truck, not even an original hose and charged $20, almost 350% more compared to original new hose).TOTAL service time in and out 30 Minutes.Charge $207.04 DOES NOT equal 30 minutes + $25 pump + $6 hose.OVERCHARGED, EXCESSIVE CHARGE. Not a professional service.Ripping off customers does not help your business. Just because people trust you when you walk in does not mean they will not tell the others when they are cheated.Will not use again. WILL NOT recommend.

My ice maker stopped working a week ago. After trying a few of the DYI things, it was time to call Kurt. I have used him for over five years now on everything from AC, humidifier, dryer, and now ice maker. He always fully explains my options and willing to talk me through the mechanics (not all repair men will do that for the women of the house). I found Kurt after I had had several bad experiences with repair guys. Now I recommend him and several of my friends use him as well.

Thank you!!!!!The guy that came out to fix my washer was amazing!!! He knew what he was talking about and explained everything to me. I was ready to go buy a new washer but a friend of mine told me to call Abbey first! I am so glad I did. He installed a new drain pump assembly for around 160.00, had the part with him and was in and out in less than an hour and my washer is good as new!!! I had a different company come out a couple weeks ago and they charged me almost 300.00 to install the exact same part, which they installed incorrectly and the guy had to come back 2 days after the first visit because he didnt carry the part in his van!!!

Came home from work to find our house a toasty 90 degrees. The air conditioner was making a terrible noise and was unable to kick on. I called Kurt. He answered the phone after hours and walked me through some things to try to troubleshoot the problem. He immediately suspected the blower motor was the issue. He was at the house at 8:15 a.m, the next morning with a new blower motor and capacitor. He got those two parts swapped out and got our AC up and running in less than hour. Weve used Kurt to repair our refrigerator and our washing machine in the past. He is always on time, gets the diagnosis right the first time, has the parts on the truck, gets it fixed correctly, and is extremely fair on price. Definitely our go to guy for all HVAC and appliance repair. Would highly recommend.

Kurt at Abbey Heating & Cooling is THE go-to guy for all your appliance needs! He has been helping us with out-of-warranty issues on our refrigerator, washer/dryer (Bosch is terrible, BTW), microwave oven, dishwasher, and HVAC for over a decade. We have a basic service contract with a big-name HVAC company here in Kansas City (for 23 years) yet they arent nearly as efficient as Abbey Heating & Cooling. It looks like we will be having Kurt and his team put in a new system very soon!

We had them come out and fix our refrigerator this morning and the gentleman Greg was so nice and did the job in good time. I would highly recommend them
