They seemed like a great company the guy who I signed up with made everything seem easy. I had missed my first payment due to a family emergency someone came to service me but I missed the payment so he didn’t provide the service. I had paid it the following day But no one has been out to my house since then it’s been over 3 weeks and it’s been nothing of a hassle trying to get someone out here to provide the service I paid for. They seemed like a great company but was a headache to deal with. I’m sure they do excellent work but just not what I want to deal with.

I cannot recall the last time i did a negative review for anything but hear me now - do not sign up with Dewey pest. If someone comes to your door, do not sign an agreement if Dewey is in the name, If you do, get ready to clock in as Dewey administrator as you will need to call 6-12 times to even get an answer. Thankfully they have an answering service or I would rarely get a call picked up. Ill get to it - I have never been so aggravated with any service Ive signed up for. As said, I am VERY tolerant as I understand customer service an be a challenge. However, heed my warning - DO NOT sign up with Dewey. I am now about 2 months away from my contract being up (early termination fee), that is fine as I signed up, but, I cannot get ahold of them for the life of me. The tech actually told me he did a certain request I asked for and when I asked, he lied about it. He may not have guessed I have cameras everywhere. Anyway, I am a good person and I will certainly remove this review if things are made right with me or meet them in the middle. I go to a review as I have nothing else left to do to get to them. You have been warned..

If I could give zero stars I would! I started my service with a door to door sales contract. I completed the terms of my contract and found that pest services can be put on hold for the winter months (less bugs), so why pay. The lady at the office placed the account on hold and commented that this was not a problem but that I would need to call to have the service restarted as my contractual obligation was up. The next contact I received was in the form of a bill! Confused? Well, so was I, my account was on hold and no services, no charges! I called the office and spoke with a woman who stated, “oh, you signed with us on a door to door, people expect magic from these sales.” I never expected magic, I sign contracts with clear understanding, as would any responsible customer. She quoted the hold notes and then became confused, but she couldn’t/wouldn’t reverse charges for a service that even she was unsure of due to the hold status of the account and the single service that hadn’t been provided as would be scheduled previously since the account was placed on hold or after the “billed for service” THAT Did NOT Happen! She transferred me to the office manager and he also noted confusion and therefor stated “I will do a little research and give you a call back”. I have yet to have spoken to him, but I did get a collection letter from a collection agency! Now I am having to take more of my own time to dispute a charge for a service that was not provided and so confusing to the customer service and manager that both could not verify in one phone conversation as to the validity of the charge! I say Do Not Get Mixed Up With Dewey Pest Control in Oroville Ca. Unless you don’t care about your credit standing and throwing money out the window due to poor billing systems and “magical services” that shouldn’t have been scheduled as the account was on hold, meaning, no service, no billing! Simple right!

Have this company for pest control. Nate is the guy who normally visits.Have had good luck with Dewey. They call ahead of time and show up when scheduled.Any problems that pop up between service calls and they respond right away.We have been very happy with their service

Moses Gaiton is an amazing person. Was so helpful and respectful. I was not sure if Deweys would be a good fit because of rumors but after working with him I will be his client for life. Thank you Moses great job

What happened to you after the fire 🤷🏻‍♀️? Had monthly service with them before the fire. But after the fire I never heard from them again. I had to just figure it out myself that they weren’t coming back and I suddenly had no pest control service without any warning. It’s ok though. I’m going back to Terminix.

Jacob Logan is an awesome employee he does an awesome job at spraying my house at hidden valley mobile park Ive had no problems with the bugs he is just awesome Id give him 10 stars if I could. Thanks Jacob for doing an amazing job.

Yesterday our technician came to our home for monthly service. After he finished treating our property, he returned to the door and informed us he had detected leaking in our water heater cabinet in the back yard. Thanks to his alert, we will be replacing the water heater and avoiding further damage and loss. Thanks to our tech for his alertness and concern!

Jacob has done an excellent job for us as long as he has been with Deweys. We have been with this company for as long as they have been in Oroville. He was very helpful recently when we made a move after 42 years from one property to another. Im glad hes been there for us.

Called earlier in the week looking to get service started as ants started taking over. No call back as promised. Called this morning bright and early after almost drinking an ant filled cup of ice tea. Left a message with answering service at 7am that I hoped to get someone out today before the ants carry us out and take over. No call back at 8:00 when they open so I call at 10:30 explained again what I had told the answering service. The girl answering the phone said she had no messages. So I ask about getting service today, she says that shouldnt be a problem but the tech would be calling me back to get details. She goes to hang up and I asked if she wanted my info, she responds that she has it from what I left the answering service. Huh, strange that she just said she never got any messages? Its now almost midnight and going through spraying pairing the house in raid I remember I never got a call. I only saw their 2-5 star reviews on google so thats why I called them, guess they dont need any more business and by the looks of these other reviews on yelp, they treat others similar.

Fantastic company. They are willing to do whatever it takes to get any problem taken care of. David is an incredible branch manager. Easy to work with and willing to do whatever it takes to solve problems and make things right. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

I have to say the first person that came out I wasn’t happy with he seemed rushed and just wanted to leave.But the next month they sent Moses! He did a awesome job. He sprayed everywhere around house and cleaned up all the webs. He didn’t seem rushed at all. He was more concerned about doing what I was originally promised. He was very friendly and had great customer service. I called the company right away and asked that Moses would be the only tech to do the job here. If it wasn’t for Moses coming out I probably would have gave a 1 star but he did a 5 Star job.

Watch what you are signing! They will say one thing and do another and then youre signed up for something you didnt know you were signing up for. If I hadnt signed up for a year service, I would not have them back. This happened twice with not only me, but someone else.
