During this time of mask requirements customers can be difficult to hear but the staff are patient and listen and are courteous thank you !
I received notice of an attempted delivery. When I went to the main location it took the clerk, supervisor and another supervisor 22 minutes to find where my packages were located. They indicated it was at the Meyer location. I asked why the packages were not delivered or put in a locker since I have a PO Box and after another 5 minute wait, the supervisor (female, and didn’t give a name) said they would meet me at the front door and give me my packages. But this was after telling me how many pieces of mail she still had to process. Just FYI managers, supervisor or those who feel they have power; telling customers how much work you have and how you’re unable to complete your workload isn’t my concern and you seem highly unprofessional trying to get any sympathy from customers. I went to retrieve my packages and out of the 4 packages I picked up only one of the packages would not fit in a locker. The others; 1 package 10x13x3, and 2 envelopes 1 16x10, 1 8x11 would have fitted in a locker but yet they kept all the packages. As per usual Oroville has poor customer service. Also the first clerk’s hands and fingernails were black and dirty, please keep your hands clean and use hand sanitizer, it’s pretty gross!
Very helpful clerk and super nice. Way better than the main post office. Friendlier and faster!
On Monday 11-13 -17 I received 10 pcs of other companys mail in our box. This occurs way too often. I have reported it directly to this post office in the past and again this Monday. I was told that they would discuss with our delivery person.Today / Friday 11-17 I received 3 pieces of other companys mail in our box.
The staff are really nice and helpful.
On time. Helpful employee. Easy access. Lots of parking. Killer location..
I like this post office because it has a lot of parking. Ive been getting my mail here for several years. I like the fact I dont have to walk up all those stairs like you do at the main post office on Robinson. A few times of the day they are pretty busy but other times its pretty quiet. I also like that it is next to Raleys and Marshals, the Chinese restaurant and the pet store. All these in one location.FYI they only have one postal worker here because its a very small post office. Also note they are closed for lunch from 12 noon till 1 p.m. and then the post office has no service after 4 p.m. the main post office on Robinson is open until 5 p.m. for counter service and does not close for lunch. Because its a full service post office.
Shipping packages and in a hurry? Go here. Quick in and out.
Warning to visitors not familiar to Oroville - this is not a full-featured Post Office. If you need to ship something, visit the main Post Office on Robinson Street.
Filthy! This post office was so dirty it smelled when I walked in. Absolutely unacceptable conditions. I would use the other post office if I were you.
If i could give a worst rateing i would.
Slow service, bad house for access
