If I could leave a higher rating, I would. I havent been to a more relaxed and comfortable spot for a haircut before. The cut was amazing but, it was more amazing to see children in the establishment getting haircuts and being happy for it. Ive never seen that before at a Barber. I was searching for a new barber since the fire in paradise. After trying quite a few different barbers even in the Chico area. I finally found Shane and he has been the best yet! I would definitely recommended him to anyone looking for a good haircut. Nice location right in downtown Oroville. Thanks again Shane for always coming through for a great cut.

Great family environment. Shane is always very polite and professional. Toys for the kids, and they can actually play without it being a problem. I take all of my boys here even my 3 year old when he was 2. Shane has a great amount of patience and works wonderful with children. He takes his time and makes sure he does what the customer would like. Great place, especially if you have children, and/or want your hair cut nice without a huge hassle.

What a fantastic family friendly barber shop! Ask for Shane when you go - he was so kind, patient, and genuinely sweet to both my young boys. He kept telling them “I’m so proud of you!” during their haircuts! He made them laugh and feel so relaxed (which normally they have a hard time with the electric clippers). I recommend this place for everyone, especially those with special needs or sensitivities. Shane is awesome!

Best Barber I have been to in my life. I moved in the area from the Bay Area and out of all of the barbers in the Bay and in Butte county Ive been to this one is the best. Amazing cutting skills, friendly atmosphere, and great price. Everybody who sees my hair after going there is super impressed. Shane is a great barber and charges a fair price. He is great with children. My son and I went one time and we we’re hooked. Shane doesn’t just rush through your cut, he takes his time and makes sure your hair is cut the way you want. He is very thorough and you should expect to be in the chair for about 15 to 20 minutes. We will be returning to Shane from now on.

Shane always takes care of my son and I, the staff is very friendly and talkative. Even though he cut tons of peoples hair he has a great memory and remembered me on my second visit about a month later and asked me about my trip I was talking to him about on my first visit. Now everytime I go its like going to visit a buddy. Im normally not the talkative type but I always end up talking and cant shut up lolAnyways I highly recommend this barber shop. Give it a try, you might go in a customer and leave a Friend.

The place is clean and staffs were friendly. Last week I had my hair cut at this place and was my very first time and will be my last. I had Shane to cut my hair and was my mistake just going to this place.During my haircut I realized Shane and two other barbers had their customers back facing the mirrors and I couldn’t understand why.As my haircut came to a finish Shane clean my off and ready to send me on my way. The whole time I cannot even see how the cut turned out (my back was facing the mirror).After I got up and look in the mirror and I almost fainted with the horrendous job that Shane did. The whole cut was extremely uneven. I brought this to Shane’s attention, he sat me down and attempted to to fix, but not any better afterwards.My conclusions are below:1. Very poor cutting skills2. Does not verify their own work afterwards3. They need to stop turning customers back facing the mirror.4. Staffs are courteousEdit: replyShane,Im not quite sure what kind of card board box you live in, every barber shop verifies their work at the end with an additional mirror and with the customer so they can see the back of their head. Perhaps you should attempt to experience how the professionals do it.Ive knew youve been confused from the beginning. Ive shown you a picture of myself with the hair cut I would like from you, but you still looked confused so I had to try to explain to you. unfortunately you were still confused after a picture and an explanation.Ive already brought to your attention how uneven my hair cut was the first time youve finished. Youve sat me down and attempted to fix the issue the second time. In the end I still had to walk out with one side of my hair looking like MT. Everest and the other side looking coral reef. Regardless what kind of hair cut youre giving me, left and right side should be evenly trimmed.Lastly, if youre banking on reviews on google to bring in business (unfortunately that was how I found you) I suggest you sharpen up on your barber skills or complete a cosmetology course. Youve mentioned you strive for customer satisfaction, but obviously it was not the situation here.I had many bad hair cuts before. It was either left too long or too short, but none was as uneven as the cut youve provided.My 12 years old nephew might be able to do a better job with less instructions I gave you.PS I suspect the high reviews are fakeGood luck.

Family friendly with a few toys to distract little ones and lots of encouragement for the kids in the chair. I am definitely a regular with my 3 kids. Very kind barber and great haircuts, although sometimes they are very busy (you can see why if you go there and try it for yourself!)

Just wow! These guys are amazing to say the least. Shane and the team here were very friendly! Shane gave me the best cut and it didnt cost an arm and a leg. I definitely recommend this spot to any and everyone... if you want to look your best that is!

Ive got my hair cut at this establishment since November. Im a very picky person when it comes to getting my haircut but they have never failed me. I recommend this place for anybody who picky with their hair, or simply wants a relaxing haircut.

BEST BARBER IN TOWN! After going there once I’ve been back with my whole family once a month since! He’s so good with my boys and has patience with every cut! You can tell that he genuinely loves what he does and it shows on every top he touches!!!!

Finally a place in town where my husband and son can go get a Good haircut. My 3 year old talks about Shane likes hes his best buddy after every haircut and I never worry about how hes gonna come out looking because he puts attention into every little detail of his haircut.

I always get a great cut. Make sure you call in advance and make an appointment because they are very popular because they make sure that the customer is happy before they leave. Two thumbs up!

Shane, whos the owner is a great barber 💈 and his associate whos a cosmetologist but specializes in men is a very good real artist (and not hard on the eyes) as well as professional. I highly recommend this establishment for your hair cutting needs.

There is so much to say about this barber shop. To start, Mariah is just absolutely amazing in every way possible. Super friendly and always a smile on her face and she truly loves her job and it shows. Shane the owner is an awesome down to earth guy and I love the conversation with those two every time I go in. Always pleasant and fun when I go. Prices are very fair and they are very good at what they do. I started going there due to my sister living in chico and she was cutting my hair for free but I mover to Oroville due to the campfire and found a mobile home and just made a appointment one day and got Mariah and Ive never regretted it since. Weve actually became good friends and Im so lucky to have her as my barber and friend now. I highly recommend this shop. They deserve 10 stars if it was an option.
