We had a fantastic experience working with Ronald on several projects on our new home, including replacing the flooring, painting, and updating the molding on the baseboards/doors/windows throughout the entire house. We learned about A.B. Floors through our realtor, and wanted to finish these projects as quickly as possible before moving in. Ronald helped us to pick out a luxury vinyl floor that had the look we wanted, and worked with us to create the exact custom molding style we were looking for by reviewing sample images we sent. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were able to finish everything, as the project started the day after we closed and all of the work was completed in about 10 days. We recently purchased a building that had 30 year old commercial grade carpet glued down on top of the original oak hardwood. The first contractor we hired quit after an hour. We used A.B Floors and Restoration to refinish our hardwood floors and repair drywall from water damage. They were so helpful from the beginning writing up a detailed quote (great for our insurance claim), communicating with us, and when we were ready to do the work, they were ready to go. A.B. Floors & Restoration showed up 1 hr 38 minutes late for our initial consultation. Then, when the rep. arrived, he asked which floor we were using. After telling him, without looking at the sample he immediately told me how my floor choice was a bad choice and that I should read reviews. I proceeded to tell him that I used the same company for flooring at a previous house and they were great. He proceeded to ask me where I wanted them installed,as soon as I pointed out two of the rooms, he took a quick peak in one and said, sorry we do not do just installation. He then left.What a joke. Very unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. I took time out of my busy schedule, only to have him show up over an hour and a half late to tell me my floor choice is bad and that he would not install any floor I choose if I did not buy them from him.

I had a leak under the hardwood floor in my kitchen. I had one of the big, national remediation companies come out and run dehumidifiers and suction floor mats for 4 days. The machines were extremely noisy with a high-pitched sound. When they were done, the floor still looked like there was moisture left.Then, I got a recommendation for A.B. Flooring & Restoration, who said there was still a lot of moisture under the floor. I was not happy that they wanted to run humidifiers and floor mats again but it was necessary. Their machines were quieter and they came daily to check progress. They were very professional and genuinely concerned about doing a perfect job. When the floor was finally dry, they pulled up the damaged wood and replaced the floor.Now, you cannot tell that I ever had water in my kitchen. I only wish I had used them the first time so I didnt have to go through the process twice. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing floor restoration.

A B floors installed wood floors in my home 10 years ago. I had water damage to my floors this year. I should have called Ronald first. He made the process of installing new floors and drying the water damaged areas easier for me. The installers did a fantastic job, my floors are beautiful. We used AB Floors & Restoration for the new house we bought. We had to replace the entire carpet and get brand new wood floor in 2 of the rooms. They did an amazing job! I needed to repair scratches/dents in a small section of my engineered wood floors. I didnt necessarily need it to look 100% perfect - I just wanted it to be less noticeable. I spoke to a couple other reputable companies in town & they said they couldnt help me, because unless I was able to track down the original flooring manufacturer to replace the damaged panels, the only way to fix the problem would be to replace the ENTIRE floor (not an option!) Ronald was confident, honest, and did an amazing job! My floor looks great and Im 100% satisfied! I highly recommend this company.

I have a living room/dining room area that has oak wood floors that were at least 10 years old and needing some repair. AB floors explained every detail of what of what was needed to be done and provided us several options as far as the quote went. Not only do they lay superb floors, but they get to the bottom of the issues that caused any problem in the first place, and fix that too so the problem will not recur. We had a major issue with moisture damage to our oak floor. Ronald, Marco and their team handled all the remedial work and installed a top quality floor that we are delighted with. Their knowledge, experience and attention to detail really sets them apart. They kept us informed every step of the way and went to extraordinary lengths to ease the inconvenience while our floor was replaced. Nothing was too much trouble. When you find a vendor who can be counted on, has competitive pricing, a wide range of products, and superior knowledge of those products, you keep that persons contact info close by! Ronald and Marco know more about flooring than any other flooring installer Ive ever hired. Ronald came out to measure for four rooms of new carpet and 3 rooms for carpet cleaning. Even with the short notice, Ronald and Marco were able to get all that work done within a couple of days - before our movers were delivering our furniture. I already have an estimate from Ronald for 850 sq ft of tile were having installed in the near future. I have no doubt that it will look great and last forever. AB Floors & Restoration will treat you right and make your floors look amazing!UPDATE 12/17/2012In the last review I mentioned that we had a tile job coming up with AB Floors. They did indeed install over 850 sq ft of tile throughout my home and it looks AMAZING!!! However, not only did they do that, these guys ALSO were able to take care of some MAJOR renovations in the house. With their experience in flood restoration, Ronald, Marco, and their guys came in, demod my entire kitchen, took down one load bearring and two non load bearring walls, installed new load bearring header(s) and columns, installed/finished the drywall, resurfaced our ceilings, and installed trim. Not only does our house look absolutely amazing, but they got the job done in about 30 days AND kept because of proper preparation, the amount of dust and debris in my home was kept to a minimum.Having done renovation projects like this before (both myself and hired out), I was beyond pleasantly surprised at how quickly, efficiently, and professionally our project got done. Expecting this type of work to take 3-6 months with lots of down time in between, getting the major structural work, flooring, etc all done in 30 days +/- was truly remarkable.If there were questions or concerns (which there were VERY few), Ronald and Marco were just a phone call away. These issues were resolved with either a phone call and then reporting back to me OR even a visit here to the job site.I took on the job of GC for this entire project. Having Ronald & Marco as my Project Managers for the structural portion was a decision Im going to be happy with as long as we live in this house. Even on the last day when they came to pick up the final bits of trash, finish up the punch list, and get their final check, Marco noticed a little spot (maybe a 1/4) in a transitional doorway (meeting of tile and carpet) where there is no grout. They told me to plan for the tile guy to come out and fix that soon (and Im sure they will, but it wasnt even something we noticed).One last thing, I called 7 contractors to look at my project. You know its a bad sign when they either 1) dont return your calls or 2) try to talk the customer OUT of getting permits and having inspections. Not only did AB Floors & Restoration come out when I asked, but, Ronald referred us to the architect/design firm to draw up our plans, gave us what we thought was a fair estimate, AND was (I think) more comfortable with the fact that we were getting this job permitted and inspected.There is no doubt that I will call AB Floor & Restoration again. Many thanks Ronald and Marco! We are SO thrilled!!!

Horrible. Do not use ! New carpeting was fraying 2 days later. When there rep came out we were told You get what you pay for . Was never shown carpet samples he assumed cause I was a gym I wanted cheap carpeting because I stated I rip it out once a year. Im still floored it is falling apart 2 days after and no ones even used it yet. Horrible experience
