I called Toms Stump Grinding and they were outstanding! Justin Arrived for an estimate on time and he called and sent a text keeping me updated on his arrival. He gave me a estimate that I accepted and got to work immediately! Justin was awesome and did more than I even expected someone would do. Two thumbs up for Tom and his staff! I definitely recommend them if you need a stump ground up!

I called Tom stump grinding to come out and grind a couple stumps for me. He charged me more than the other companies, some excuse about using a bigger machine which actually makes his job easier. But because the issue was time sensitive I needed to hurry up and get it done so I paid the fee. After I paid them in full Tom told me that he would come back with no issues to get the rest of it down if after we moved the grinded mulch and there were still some stump left. I made it very clear to him that I would need it prepped in order to put sod there. With that being said I had my irrigation company come out not too long after to set up. They noticed that not only were the stumps not grinding low enough to be able to sod, but the area also had abandon pipes located underneath the stumps. I specifically showed Tom the route in which the new pipes were ran so that he could avoid them. Never did I say anything about avoiding the abandon pipes because obviously they would get grounded with the rest of the stump that was there in order for me to be able to put sod which was explained from the very first visit. After I called them back out to come finish the job that I had already paid them for they wanted to charge me a minimum rate. After the gentleman called the office to check with Tom, Tom then proceeded to call me and argue with me on the phone to tell me why it wasn’t fair and why they needed to get paid. I will not be using their services again and I recommend people finding someone else if they need grinding services.... And by the way I still ended up paying the fee

I’ve used Tom’s Stump Grinding twice over the past couple years, and have been very happy with their work each time. They’re extremely responsive and they’re always ready to get the work done quick! On top of that, their prices are extremely fair, and they’re very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend them any day :)Important to note if this is your first time getting a stump or roots ground out: they don’t haul away anything left over, but they’re very upfront about this. (And let’s be honest, what’s leftover is much easier to get rid of them stubborn roots/stumps!)

Toms team was awesome. When I called them, they provided a free quote for the service. I had concerns about how close the trees were to my power and water lines, and they called someone out to mark it off for me. They arrived and took out 2 stumps in a matter of 20 minutes. Tom came out three times to get rid of very large Norfolk pine stump. First time he said he could try to tackle it with the machine (apparently he has many) he had with him but if I could wait until the next day he would have a larger machine that would do the job more thoroughly. I said sure, if he could get out early (needed stump up for paving contractor to start). He was out by 7:30 am with his big, badass Vermeer grinder and made mincemeat of the stump. His price was reasonable. Later that morning, I discovered a large root under the pile of dirt left by the grinder that needed to come out for the pavers. Tom returned that afternoon to finish the job and refused any further payment. I would suggest that anyone using any stump grinding service make clear to the operator at the outset where any irrigation/water pipes are likely to be which should at least help prevent breaks. Also clarify before the job if cleanup of tailings will be part of the job, unless you, the homeowner, intend to take care of that cleanup. In any case, I recommend Tom’s Stump Grinding.

Please, please do yourself a favor and go with this company. Amazing same day service, very reasonable prices, and even blowed off the debris from my driveway to leave it nice and clean.I went with another company for some stumps, and they ended up doing a poor job (and were more expensive) so I called Tom Mulligan to come out, and they fixed everything for us!! It was such a relief! Please don’t make the same mistake I did and just go with Tom right away! I will definitely use this company again if the need arose.

They came out same day for a quote and two days later to do the work on grinding multiple stumps down. Justin was professional and got the work done quickly.I havent moved the mulch yet, but so far, I would highly recommend.

Had them come out out for a large stump and a small stump, brought the right machine for the job each time and were done very quickly. Last stump was left over from work the tree cutting company forgot to put on the work order, then forgot to come back and do. Do yourself a favor and just call Tom after your tree company leaves, its better all around.

Toms is a phenomenal stump removal company!!! I called on a Wednesday and Jim quickly called me back the same day. He was at my house the next morning and removed everything that I asked to be removed. Jim was very responsive and easy to work with over the phone. I called Tom Mulligan Stump Grinding and spoke to someone that was very friendly and professional. She mentioned that there was someone in my area that same day and that he could grind the stumps immediately if the price was acceptable to me. He came out and the price was good. He ground the 4 stumps I had within about 3-4 hours. Once he was finished he said that once the chips are removed if there was something still left to grind to call the office and they will send him back out free of charge. There were some pieces of stump/roots and they came back as promised. I cant say nicer things about this company. Absolutely great experience. Thank you!Antonio

We had 3 palm tree stumps left by tree company. Called Toms Stump Grinding. In neighborhood and stopped that day. Was here about 25 minutes and stumps were completely chipped out. Great job!

After having so many different companies come to our house to provide us the free estimates (super expensive) and date to perform our stump grinding, we came across TSG made a same day appointment for a free estimate and Tom himself was able to come by. Toms Stump Grinding came out to take care of a very large Sycamore stump as part of an overall job I had contracted to a tree removal company. Jim (I think) came out twice because the stump was so large for the first visit and both time, worked non-stop until everything was taken care of. Super polite, professional and overall very nice and friendly guy. Definitely recommend.

I called Toms Stump Grinding to get an estimate at 10am on a Wed morning. One of Toms employees was in the area, and able to swing by and provide us with an estimate. The estimate to grind down a stump from a Pygmy Date Palm in our front yard was extremely reasonable. From the time I spoke with Tom until the job was done was all in under 2 hrs. Tom was courteous and polite while talking with him on the phone, and his employee James was professional while at our house doing the work.

I was referred to Tom Mulligans stump grinding by a larger tree service company. Im so glad they did! I texted Tom and the next day someone came out to do a free estimate. I had 6-7 tree stumps removed within 2 hours. I wasnt even home. The process was so quick and simple I still cant believe it. They did a great job and the best part is they did it for less than 1/3 of the cost as another company who had given me an estimate. Great service and great work. I would highly recommend.

I just read the reviews. Lol after I had the work done today by Toms grinding company. I called them yesterday at the spur of a moment and based on 5 stars. It was pm and the nice lady at the phone said someone will be in the area tomorrow. Well he called me 30 min before he got to the house which gave me plenty time to meet him since we didnt arrange time the night before.Wow. So far fantastic customer service. Awesome. I called Tom and he had someone (Roger) at my house in a short time period. Roger showed up with all his equipment and quickly ground out the 3 stumps I had. Very easy process. I would highly recommend Tom and his team.

I would highly recommend this company. Called Tom at 9 AM, a representative showed up at my house by noon and was finished by 1230. John was a true professional. He protected all windows before starting the job and cleaned up afterwards.

This is the company everyone should call for stump grinding. After reading the reviews and checking out the website, I gave them a call. A nice woman answered the phone and scheduled me for a same day quote -barring the weather. In less than 30 mins, Mike called me up to inform me he was on his way. In a little over an hour I had a same day quote. I agreed on the price (very reasonable BTW) and Mike was out in the backyard grinding the two stumps. In less than 2 hours I had a same day quote and both stumps were gone. I recommend giving them a call. Also, I called another company and received a call back a day and half later.

These guys were great. I called in the morning, they called me back that afternoon after asking me to take a picture of the stump and then gave me a quote so I knew what to expect BEFORE any work was done. He came out, raked the landscaping rocks away and grinded the stump down to practically nothing, with little mess. After Hurricane Irma, FINALLY a contractor who does the job without trying to rip you off!

Orlando Stump Grinding (a/k/a Toms Stump Grinding) saved the day! The stump grinder that was subcontracted out by the tree removal service we used failed to do the work at the last minute, which needed to be done before our scheduled fence install. In a panic, I called the first number that popped up in my google search and OSG/Toms came out within an hour of my call and completed the work, keeping us on track for our scheduled fence install. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

The nice lady who answers the phone in Toms office was very helpful in getting the stump grinding done, even though I ordered the grinding through the Company that cut down the tree. The Tree Cutting Co either forgot to order the grind, or were very slow to order it.
