He was recommended by a friend and when we saw the multi-million dollar listings in his sold-portfolio, we were a bit intimidated to use him since we were just selling a small college park bungalow. However, he put as much effort into our listing as he would for a much larger commission. The service was especially great considering we were out of state when he was selling our property and we were doing everything via distance. He worked with our tenants (friends of ours that were renting our property at the time) to get the house in showing-shape: mulching the garden beds, scrubbing and bleaching the gutters, and painting the porch. I decided to buy a home, and Alex had good reviews so I clicked on him to contact me. Within seconds I had a phone call and an appointment set to talk to Alex. He called me on time, got me pre-approved, and we went out looking the next day. Alex listened and showed me good options. I found a great home on a big lot which was in immaculate condition with new roof, ac, etc. When appraiser only valued it as an average condition and appraisal came in $20k less, somehow Alex was able to negotiate the price down to the appraised amount, PLUS get my closing costs paid. I was putting 20% down and was able to pay my own closing costs. I can definitely say that Alex really does like to negotiate. The whole process was extremely smooth. I have used a different Realtor in the past and I did not even look her up. I will recommend Alex to all my friends, before they end up with a mediocre agent.
