On a recent trip to Orlando to attend a conference and speak at a seminar I was surprised to find I did not pack the charger for my hearing aids. Needing them charged I started looking to purchase a charger. Location after location said they could order me one, but none had one in stock. Our last call was to Lyrus Hearing Center, they again said not in stock they would have to order it. I was again surprised when I was told that if I brought the hearing aids in, they would put them on a charger for me overnight. This allowed me to present my seminar and hear all the questions that were asked.Today when it seems that customer service is a thing of the past, Lyrus and their staff went above and beyond to provide me with an experience that was truly exceptional. If I every need assistance with my hearing aids and in the area, they would be the first place I would contact. They need more than the 5 stars for the service they provided me. Outstanding service!!

We had a great experience with Karen Butler.Our mom is 97 yrs old and was experiencing issues with her hearing aide. We called and made an appointment and saw Karen, she was excellent with my mom and very kind and caring. She sure made my mom’s hearing aide so much better bless her. We highly recommend this place and will definitely refer them business.

Ive been going to Lyrus since 2007 and this location since the Fashion Square Mall location closed. Karen is extremely knowledgeable and great with recommendations based on needs, budget and current technology. Ive just purchased my second aid through this location (monaural user). If youre searching, I cant recommend this location enough.

Everyone is very nice. The receptionist is very friendly. They took the time with my husband to fit him the best aids for him. I had come to Orlando from Virginia to attend a family funeral and realized that my left hearing aid was not working. After making some inquiries, I was directed to the Lyrus Hearing Care Office on Orange Blossom Trail. I called, and the receptionist could not have been more helpful. I explained that the funeral was some distance away and that I would have to leave Orlando no later than noon to reach it. She advised me to be at the office when it opened the next morning, and she would work me in. I did so and saw the audiologist within forty minutes of my arrival. She quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, refusing to accept any payment. Obviously, I would not be a returning patient, but the staff could not have been more compassionate, understanding, or attentive. I highly recommend them to anyone with a hearing loss or a problem with a hearing instrument.

This is my 1st time here. Ive been wearing hearing aids for 40 years and have had 8 different providers. Ive never had the attention that I received from Karen who tested and fit me for the perfect aid. She is a true professional and really knows her stuff plus excellent customer relation skills. I had an emergency situation when the rubber tip on my hearing aid remained inside my ear canal although I had removed the hearing aid. Im from Boston, down here on business, and the hearing aid is not more than a month old.I obviously did not buy it here, but the woman at the front desk, Yvette, was incredibly helpful. She carefully removed the tip from my ear canal and replaced it with a new one.I had looked up hearing aid professionals in the Orlando and was lucky that I truly did find a Professional!Amazing courtesy they extended to a stranger in need. I have had reason to visit this store twice, I have seen Karen Butler on both occasions, Karens knowledge and professionalism was second to none, I would definitely recommend anyone thinking of trying this hearing center to give it a try, you will not be disappointed.Karens charges were more than reasonable and I feel I could go back at any time with any problem great service and a walk in facility as well for those breakdowns when you least expect them.I highly recommend this hearing center.

Excellent service! I came for a repair to my hearing aide. The specialist quickly made the repair, and she patiently explained my options for a better hearing aide. I was not only impressed with her knowledge, but she didnt even charge me! I will definitely be coming back.

The folks at Lyrus are awesome. They are very knowledgeable about what equipment works best for each individual. My wife had a sudden hearing loss due to Menieres disease about 10 years ago, and the first time we came to Karen, she knew how to program her hearing aides to dramatically improve her comprehension. Other places either didnt care, or didnt understand how to program them properly. Lyrus/Hear Again America goes that extra mile in dealing with insurance, and getting repairs from manufacturers. I highly recommend them.

I needed a hearing aid repaired for my sister while I was visiting Orlando on a Saturday. I called and advised of the issue and they told me to come right over. It was repaired within minutes. The staff here is wonderful and very knowledgeable and helpful. If I am in the area again and need their services, would definitely go there. I would highly recommend this office for all of your hearing and hearing aid needs. Thank you for all of your help.

One of my hearing aids stopped working about a month ago. I normally see a doctor in Kissimmee, but could not find time to visit during their office hours. After my very patient family had had enough of talking loudly and repeating everthing, I used Google to find an alternative with more flexible hours. I was invited to come in on a Saturday during their lunch hour and was absolutely charmed by the pleasant staff. My ten year old daughter even said how sweet everyone was! My issue was fixed within five minutes, and I had such a good experience that I decided to purchase my next set of hearing aids here when the time comes. Customer service is a dying art, and Im so glad I stumbled upon this office!

Dr. Karen Butler was very thorough and provided professional assistance in a stressful situation of a tip of my hearing aid lodged in my ear. She agreed to work me in on our vacation, removed the piece, put in a new piece, cleaned the hearing Aid and installed a new tip. I would highly recommend her, Ann Fisk

Karen is absolutely the best Audiologist I have ever seen( and I have visited many over the last 15 years!) She is an expert in understanding the problems related to hearing aids particularly with adjustments. It is often hard to communicate correctly the problem you may be having. She is never in a rush and always goes that one extra step to help you. For example today after getting my aids tuned up she help me download a new app on my phone to control them. Like I said it just doesnt get any better than Karen at Lyrus !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ACA - AudioprosthologistIf your are looking for competent, reliable, and professional(ism),,, then I would not recommend going to the Orange Blossom Trail Lyrus Hearing Center. My son needed custom fitted ear plugs and the audioprosthologist who made the mold was incompetent. According to her, she has never fitted someone for custom fitted ear plugs before. In my opinion then you have no business advertising that you do. The first time we picked up the ear plugs, the Ukrainian employee at the front desk was rude. We stood right in front of her waiting to be helped, but I suppose she did not know the appropriate method of how to greet customers. When I tried to explain to the audioprosthologist (not audiologist - I want to make that clear that she is not an audiologist) the points of the ear plugs that we were not satisfied with - that one of the ear plugs did not seal the ear completely of my son and water would be able to leek through which would eventually cause an ear infection. In addition, they were not the color that she had showed us, and the quality was just very poor workmanship. She was rude, kept talking over me, and got very defensive. To try to make the story short, we returned back again to pick up the second set of ear plugs that should have been corrected.This time it was another employee at the front desk, and she was also unprofessional just as the first - sitting there filing her nails! Both plugs were awful! As I again tried to explain to the audioprosthologist that she would need to make a new ear mold, she again got very defensive kept interrupting me, mentioning that she does not make the ear plugs that another company makes them and it is out of her control. and so forth. I told her that I find their behavior very unprofessional and even more so each time I come into their office. I let her know that I did not understand why I feel the need to defend myself for a product that cost $85.00 and it is not fitting as it should. I should not have to feel the need to defend myself as a customer, that a professional person would listen to the customer, listen to how they are describing where they are dissatisfied and doing their best to make sure the customers happy and satisfied, rather than blowing up, interrupting them, and taking a defensive position. She interrupted me as I tried to suggest making a new mold, she told me she has no time because she has customers in the back waiting on her, but yet she and the secretary shut the side door and were talking silently and then called another Lyrus to speak to her boss (as she mentioned to me), all the while the customers in the back waited patiently. I heard her on the phone telling the person that she had tried her best, but these customers are being difficult, and would she be able to give us our money back. The person had advised her that she should make a new mold..... all the while this is what I was wanting to suggest to her if she had given me the opportunity. She went back to her other customers (who were waiting about 10 minutes during this time), and I asked the women at the front desk for the number to speak also to her boss that she had just spoken to. She gave the business card and told me after I asked that it was the Altamonte number. I went right outside the office to call and left my young daughter in the office. The secretary immediately called that office and told the secretary there that I was going to ask for the boss and she should tell me that the boss is not there and she could take a message. My daughter came running out and told me that she said this. My daughter went back inside as I at that moment was provided the same response as my daughter told me. While my daughter was inside the secretary told my child, I know what you told your mother. Unbelievable!!! I asked immediately for my money back, as I do not want to deal with such people!! We did not receive all are money back, and no where on the receipt does it suggest money back policies!! Do not waste your time with this place!

Thanks for your help and service! We had a problem and couldnt get there on time, but their help in making an appointment for us immediately was spectacular. With his guide we were able to find the headphones for my mom. And she now hears normal again! We definitely hope to return.
