VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Oh and when they tell you it will be out for delivery they lie you cannot believe a word they say THEY do not care for the Customer at ALL. Excuses and Excuses Stay far away from this company. I really do not even want to give 1 star!!! All they do is LIE!!!!1
This is the worse company I have ever worked with. Jessica was rude and the manager had no solution for the problem. My shipment was never delivered after a month of patiently waiting. They told me everyday they would deliver tomorrow and they never came. I finally cancelled my order that was little over $2000. This is really bad for business.
I will not use them again. Their Cheap Freight is not worth loosing MY CUSTOMERS.Deliveries are consistently late. CHEAP is not better. A day or two is understandable - but they are now late almost a week on a customer order. I literally had to reship this order to my customer and eat those charges. They should disclose ahead of time their delivery times. When you get a quote and it clearly states 1 or 2 days - but then its actually a week or more - thats BAD BUSINESS. If they are forthright in their days of service - it would be okay but they are not.
This is one of the worst terminals I have ever had to deal with. You get what you pay for with Central being cheap, but they have been holding my freight hostage for more than a week at this point and using excuses like, we just dont have any people or my city trucks are more important. Its always nice to be told youre less than important.
Went to pickup a pallet from the terminal, but tried calling before i left, no one would answer the phone at the terminal after multiple calls, and voice mail does not work (go figure why would they call you back if they cant even answer the phone). In the past year i have picked up about 6 loads from the terminal, no problems, BUT YOU HAD TO PICKUP FREIGHT BEFORE 2PM. Well not anymore, they changed the policy and how am i suppose to know that if no one answers the phone. NEW RULE IS FREIGHT HAS TO BE PICKED UP AFTER 2PM. Wasted 60 miles round trip for nothing because they change policies like they change underwear, VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Oh and the main line for the company had wait times over 30 min and could never get anyone on the phone period! Stay far away from this fly by night company, they will probably close their doors over night!
Wish we would have checked reviews first. If I could give 0 I would. if you need your item, DO NOT US THIS COMPANY! Shipped a small crate from ATL 4/1, arrived at terminal supposedly 4/2, they never notified or shipped to our Orlando address, they held on to it and on to it, so on 4/14 I go to the terminal to pick it up, they cant find it, waited and waited. No organization what so ever, poor customer service. How can you lose a crate, when that is your one job, what kind of tracking organization do you have. Consider it lesson learned, wont use this place again.Edited this because the new Division VP that is there to straighten and organize this place, seems to know how to treat customers and seems to be working at getting the place in order. Doug newton stepped up with his customer service. Good luck going forward.
They had no issue setting-up a pickup time that worked for me. Product was in great condition for pickup. Workers did a great job loading product. Total time from pulling in through time loaded and leaving was under 10 minutes.
Do yourself a favor and ship with another company! We get deliveries from all sorts of trucking company and this one is the absolute worst! Always late delivers and pallets being left on the dock. When we call they guarantee it will be delivered the following day and the following day we call to see when it will arrive and somehow it failed to make it on the truck again. Again not a one time occurrence I am talking about this happens to us weekly. When we call they tell us we can check the tracking on there website with the pro numbers but that too is inaccurate, it will show items out for delivery then we call at 4pm after waiting all day only to be told nope it still sitting on the dock in Orlando. I am warning you save yourself the trouble and ship threw another company.
Just adding my 1 star review, appears to be mismanaged beyond repair at this terminal. They do not answer their phone, freight was stuck at terminal for over a week before I gave up and drove to the terminal myself only to be told they lost 3 of the 4 pallets I had booked. If they tell you its loaded for delivery they are likely lying to you. Was given several different explanations, lied to several times by several different employees. Its a miracle that they are not bankrupt. Save yourself the grief and stay far away from this mess.
I was expecting a 4 wheeler to be delivered and I had missed there call, I called back got through really quick and scheduled the delivery. Very easy
Worst trucking company in the world. Ordered 3 pallets of freon from a manufacturer in Tampa, Fl. I am 90 miles from Tampa, and every other LTL company would only take a day to get it here. They picked this shipment up on March, 29th. The still have at their terminal in Orlando since the 30th. Now they wont answer their phone. I will be putting on all of my p.os that I will not accept deliveries if they ship with central freight.
Said they would let me pick up at terminal to save some time. Then said they have to wait on the shipper to release. Then showed up at my house with no way to unload and said that I would have to pick up at terminal. Called and they once again said I would have to wait on shipper before I could pick up. What!!!
Yet another 1 star review. If I could give less I would. We didn’t choose this company, but the company we ordered from used their services. First they tell us it is coming on Friday, then we call and they say not till Monday. At 5:30pm Friday I get a call that it is being delivered (no call ahead, they’re just there at the location which is an hour from our home). They act like no big deal and reschedule for Monday morning. We headed down to Orlando with a rented trailer to meet our freight delivery at our commercial location for our window of 9am-12p. We called 3 times, the time kept getting pushed later and we were told that there were issues with the driver. We now have been told 5:30 pm and they can’t guarantee if it will come by the end of the day. A whole day wasted waiting on freight. This is just unacceptable business. They do not return calls, they do not respect deadlines, and they do not communicate the shipping times clearly. PICK ANOTHER COMPANY!
Dont ever ship with these people. I had a will call to pick up at the terminal. Drove 4 hours to get it and they said it was in the truck at the dock and Refused to unload it and made me come back the next day. Very poorly run business if I have my way they will never get my business again.
Will make an appointment time with absolutely no intention of meeting it. Every person you speak with gives you a different answer. We are (currently) waiting 6 plus hours on a delivery that we have to be present for. We are infuriated and held hostage by their grotesque lack of professionalism, disregard for time and dishonesty. Pallet (eventually) showed up with no damage and the driver was very professional. Thats all the positives for this company.The website is horribly out of date and needs some attention. The pickup was late, which seems to be a constant issue with this company. The estimated delivery date is actually wrong and that is just the date that the truck gets to the station. This company has a ridiculous policy that the pallet has to get to the local station before a delivery appointment can be made, so that means my shipment had to sit in Orlando for an entire day while it could have just gotten delivered instead (it arrived late at night the day before the estimated delivery date). Then, they never loaded the pallet into the truck which means I had to wait another day for this time sensitive shipment. Luckily, after it being 2 days late, the driver showed up first thing in the morning.

I only gave 1 star to leave review. This company is terrible! They quote 3 days transit and 14 days later they may show up. It seems Houston TX terminal is the worst. Skids sits there for weeks and when you try to call, you are on hold for over an hour and just give up. I started chat with them, but still nothing happens. Spend the extra money on a carrier like AAA Cooper, SEFL, YRC or any name brand you are better off. Oh and when it does show up, its heavily damaged and refused
Avoid these thieves at all cost. For weeks our shipment has supposedly been there, and every day it is supposed to be delivered, and isnt. Im betting that the shipment is heavily damaged. That seems to be their M.O. They need to be sued.
Item came a day late. manual and keys for the shipped item were lost at some point. I called to try and locate lost items they basically told me everything was shipped and acted like I was unreasonable for trying to see if they could help me find the lost items. I had discussed inside delivery and they were billed as white glove company, not true, the delivery guy did not have a dolly and I had to pay him extra to get him to stay long enough to use his pallet jack to move the item once unboxed. He left before we had it in the door. Was not a great experience.
Been on hold for over 30 mins and to be honest after reading reviews i dont think they are gonna answer smh i am the shipper at the company i work for we close at 4:30 it is currently 4:35 and the truck still hasnt showed to pick up our shipment im allowed to be here til 5 if they dont show i will be leaving another review!!!Its is 5:04 they never showed smh great job central freight and great job on answering your phone smh!!!!
Honestly, I am now at the point to acknowled it is not worth saving 20-25% on a shipment, and having it so delayed. Everytime i ship with these guys I add 2 days to their shipping estimate, but that is not always enough. Right now, Im waiting on a delivery that was picked up over 2 weeks ago. Was supposed to be 4 day delivery. Buyer beware.

Horrible, Horrible company. What a joke. I can write a book on how horrible they are. So disorganized and dont have a system on how and when the deliveries should be. Lied to our company almost every day when we called. When we finally got our shipment, parts was missing and the one part we did get, was totally broken.

Have been waiting a month to have a delivery. Multiple times they have promised my spa cover would be delivered on a specific day but never showed up. Not only should you not use this company, but do not order from any company who has their deliveries go through Central Freight.

I spoke with Rita several times about a driver position I have experience all the endorsements clean driving record and they never call me. They looking drivers but I guess they’re hire especific people 👎🏻
