My car is toast and was towed by Rikers. Staff was very professional, extremely nice and calming to my loss. The cost was much less than I anticipated. Great people!!

Update: The manager contacted us to rectify the situation. The manager was very kind and professional, and happy to assist us. Changing from 1 star to 4 as a result. The 4 star is strictly for the manager, I still feel the lady who first attended us was rude.

The lady working at the front desk wouldn’t allow my boyfriend to help me get my belongings out of the car and made him go sit in his car. My car is totaled and none of the doors would open. Glass shards everywhere and I had to crawl In the spaces I could to get it out. Ended having to crawl in the back and legs had glass all over them. Not to mention the car was in a mud pile and It was extremely difficult to even walk. Totally disappointed in this and made my day even more difficult than it should’ve been.

I was stuck on my semi bobtail and was referred to this company. Victor showed up with a heavy tow truck. In less than 30 minutes I was out of a ditch and ready to go. Excellent service and reasonable price

These people are anal and unprofessional. They will not release vehicles to the insurance company and expect the vehicle owner to sign a release that has to be notarized at the owners expense. This is a tactic used by rinky dinky tow yards such as theirs, to continue to rack up daily fees at the expense of the owner and insurance companies, at their discretion. They refuse to even give their fees over the phone and want to first get your vehicle and then you will get your rates with your bill. If you get into an accident and they show up, call your insurance company and request a reputable tow company; its your right! Even if the police call their tow company, request someone else. Their staff is rude and uncaring. Its unfortunate that the Hispanic lady who answered the phone is as rude as her English, and gives others a bad rep. Funny how the 5 or 4 star reviews are mainly Hispanic - I wouldnt doubt it if they are having their friends or peers post these reviews to increase their ratings. Its also ironic that everyone complains about the same things: rudeness, unprofessional, and jacked up fees, etc. You unhappy customers are able to start a class action law suit against this company - seek the advice of a civil trial lawyer, and use the Better Business Bureau to raise your voice. Ive read the owner response comments about how they would like to assist and discuss the situation, and lets not forget: clarify misconceptions as to their business! So, I suppose all the bad reviews are a coincidence; how convenient!

They lied and said they didnt have my car, they refused to let me pick up my car, then when they finally admitted they had it, they wanted to charge me for the full time they would not allow me to get it. $418. This should be illegal.

BEWARE this scam company! Our subdivision was having its roads resurfaced, so they called Rikers Towing, who usually monitor our sub, and told them NOT to do any towing, as cars would be on the street in compliance with the subdivisions request. Rikers towed several cars, two nights in a row, in spite of having been told not to, and in spite of seeing the signs that are up everywhere showing where cars should park during the resurfacing. They then pretended they were doing us all a favor in only charging $50 to get the car back. Then they took cash only (exact amount; claimed they had no change) and threatened to keep the car for the whole weekend unless we gave them cash (we noticed they charge extra when the car is there for more than 48 hours. Coincidence? We dont think so), and then left us to find it in their muddy lot, with guard dogs roaming freely. This is the second time this scam company has towed our car, the first being the night we moved in, when they took our two cars right off our own driveway. Although our subdivision is refunding our payments to Rikers, that refund comes out of our association dues. Rikers knew several cars would be on the street during the resurfacing, and they totally took advantage of it, claiming ignorance. We have confirmed with our subdivision association that Rikers WAS, in fact, told not to tow. Nothing but a scam operation. Use them at your peril.

Unprofessional and inconsidersate. Was in a bad accident two days ago, went by yesterday to gather my belongings, provided the woman (who was extremely rude and careless) with every piece of paperwork that she requested.) Called today to make sure they know that my insurance company will be the ones picking it up and was told by the same rude woman that I have to waste another 3 hours of my day going back to sign a waiver to give my insurance permission to pick up the vehicle. If the vehicle had to be towed there in the first place, how could *I* pick it up myself? And why didnt she provide me with that form when I was standing in front of her yesterday? The man who took me back to retrieve my belongings also barely spoke English and had me walk in circles around their property because he kept taking me to where he thought my car was, but it wasnt. The whole thing was a waste of time. I have no clue who used to own this company but based on the (fluent) english on their webpage, I highly doubt its who does now. Disgusting way to treat a human who is probably already traumatized from a severe accident.I can honestly say 100% that I will never call this company for a tow ever in the future, and that I will make sure everyone I knows avoids them after this.

These people don’t know what they’re doing. I came here with authorization from my company to go and pick up some stuff from our company truck that was stolen. The first let me in the yard and I found a truck, but now they are asking for more information and kick me out of the yard. The company has a contract to tow in tow away zones. My son parked in a lot for about 10 minutes when he had to make a stop across the street. The Tow Away Zone sign is almost hidden in the lot. Needless to say, my son missed the sign.While making his stop, he saw the truck pull up and quickly begin to load the vehicle to tow away. He ran across the street, and caught the guy before the car was even fully secured on the wrecker. He confronted the man but the man would not release the vehicle. He demanded $65.00 from my son, refused to give receipt and would only take cash. You can give me $65 now or you can pay the lot $150 tomorrow was his reply.This was an honest mistake on my sons case and he immediately attempted to remedy the problem, however, the truck driver would have no part of it and strong armed him for the cash.Not an honest company, practicing with little integrity.

Theyre just doing their job and Im the one who parked incorrectly. Were easy about meeting and getting the car from their yard on a Sunday morning. Staff was polite and friendly.

Called here to ask general questions regarding the junk cars. The lady that answered the phone was very unprofessional and she claimed to be the owner. He English was ridiculously broken that she became upset because I could not understand her. Luckily this is just a junk car business and much professionalism isnt required. AND NO my car was not towed, I am a regular person that was trying to get information.

They like to add services to their menu, my vehicle got repossessed. They are trying to charge $150 to get my private property out of the vehicle. It’s not on the service menu. My ID is in the vehicle, but she said it’s my fault the car got repossessed.

On Sunday I was in a bad accident that involved someone rear ending me and pushing my car into a fence. My insurance told me to let the state troopers tow my vehicle since it was not drive-able. The state trooper informed me that the car would be towed to Rykers. I spoke with my insurance and told them where it was going and they informed me to go to Rykers in the morning and release the vehicle to my insurance so they could come and get it and to go ahead and get my belongings out of the vehicle while I was there. I went to Rykers Monday morning and gave them all my information. Drivers license, wreck info from the troopers, signed their log book and a form stating that I allowed them to release the vehicle to my insurance and the company that was coming to pick up my vehicle on behalf of my insurance. I asked the ladies at the window SEVERAL times to make sure that it was okay for them to come and get my car and that it was properly released. The women at the window said yes everything was fine and allowed me to get my belongings out of my car. Yesterday, Tuesday, I receive a call from my insurance stating that Rykers was claiming I did not release my car and that the guys from the company on behalf of my insurance were turned away. My insurance informed me that a woman named Janet turned them away. I called Rykers myself and spoke to Janet myself and asked her why she would not release my car after I released it. She said uh uh hold on and put me on hold for approximately 4 minutes. Then she comes back on the phone and says no its fine they can come and get the car. So I asked why did you not allow it in the first place? She said they had 5 other cars that were all Hondas. Really? I find that hard to believe that you have 5 other Hondas with the same insurance, my name, brand, make, color, and model. I believe this company wanted my car in the lot for another night to make extra money and I do not appreciate the time wasted by them. I would give them no stars if I had the chance. I did everything that was asked of me and provided all documentation and so did my insurance. This is a cheap company that screws people and I see and understand why they have the low rating that they do.

This place is truly a place that has no integrity. The people who work there are crooked. My sons truck was stolen and wrecked and abandoned and by the time we found out they had his truck was ten days later. They charged him $671.00 in fees. (Cash only)Then the man showing him the truck told him he needed his key and when we asked for the key back they refused to give it to us. The woman who works there was absolutely the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She told me that she would not have called us even if she had our phone number. She said the truck would be theirs.We ended up calling the police in order to force them to hand over the key. I definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone EVER!

The driver dragged from the back my rear wheel drive truck w/a locked diff off MY driveway the full length of his flat bed while no one was home, the tranny is now leaking and I have to pay to get it checked for internal damages. The tire skid marks on the driveway prove it.

These people are complete animals!!! I called and they told me $125 cash to get my car and then ended up charging me $511 and he refused to play back his video footage of someone coming out to meet me at the yard that told me that info and denied the whole thing so he can scam people (the manger). He was yelling me at while I was crying and did not even listen to what I had to say. Oh and did I mention that my car was even more damaged than when they had towed it from the accident scene, it had a leak from when it was picked up by their truck. DO NOT USE THEM, ABSOLUTE ANIMALS !!! I see where all the horrible reviews are coming from.

My car was towed from the mall I work at (tax free weekend, had no choice but to park illegally)The next day I called around 8am and someone answered, and told me to just get there. Had to wait 2+hr for the guy to show up at the impound lot (it was Saturday, they operate the office during the week) but he did cut me a huge break in letting me take my car even though it was registered under my father, and charging me the same amount I was told over the phone ($135, $140 since they had no change). All in all it would have went a lot better if the response towards pick-ups was a little faster, but he was very apologetic and gave me an explanation for his lateness (police calls or something), and I was happy to pay

Worst company I have seen dealt with customer service, i presented them with documentation about a car i previous owned and till this day Im still dealing with it. 6 months ans nothing was resolved and the old Spanish lady that answers the phone is horrible and apparently a manager is never around to deal with customer concerns. This establishment is crooked and wouldn’t recommend to no one. Please stay as far away from this company as you can. They can not provide you with any type of documentation as to why your car was towed. I will be reporting them to the BBB as to investigating this company for fraud. This place deserves 0 stars..Worst customer service in the world, she was also racist. I was involved in an accident and I called them to ask what is needed in order for me to get my car. A male answered the phone and stated that I only need my driver liscense and my registration.. I go to pick up my car and this racist biggot with the most disgusting attitude ever advise me that I had to pay to get my vehicle out..I wasnt upset about the cost but she couldn’t even give me an explanation of the cost, she then assured me that I had to pager my car by 4pm or the it’s extra fee.. I asked for sheet with cost of explanation so I include it in my claim so I can provide it my insurance and she said no. One of their idiot drivers decided to block a whole cul-de-sac for an hour, No one could leave or enter. Called management- management said they are allowed to block off public roads with tow trucks, told me to call the police and hung up.A car was never towed, just some idiot sitting sideways in the middle of the road for an hour in a 50’ truck

Im not here to complain about the towing fees, because although they were rather high, that was not my main issue. They tried to force their towing service on me at the scene of the accident, it was my first accident and I did not know what standard protocol was. Because my accident involved four cars, the insurance companies had a lot of things to work out, so my car was stuck on the lot for a week. I called about picking it up and they were very rude, and were not willing to work with me about getting it towed off their lot. When they brought the car out to have another company tow it to the salvage yard, they towed it across the street and left it on the side of the road in a ditch for the next people to unsafely get to. Also, they claimed to have mailed me some papers, that I had not received at the time, and were unwilling to make me another copy while I was at their facility. They took our situation, and literally laughed at our misfortune. I pity their next customer.

The worst towing company ever they tell you one price to get your business then charge you $250 more and I called them at 7:45am and they said the driver is 45min out but didn’t show up 3 hours later unprofessional and you told me that your driver couldn’t make the turn in the shop so I would have to drop off the trailer that 1mile from the shop and you add $250 on to the price when we had already discussed this before I agreed to you’re services then you said pay it or you will impound my truck then hung up the phone very very very unprofessional and a nasty attitude

They towed my car from my own driveway (just because my husband forgot to remove the magnetic signs from his car, a KIA Sportage). In the process, they damage the pavers. The wheel lift from the town truck scratched the pavers. After several calls trying to reach Jose, the manager, we were told by the secretary that he would not speak to me and they would not fix my driveway. I dont know why but I had a feeling that was coming. Terrible company!

Parked at ABC liquor in Lake Nona in a parking spot designated for ABC liquor customers. Went in, did my shopping for maybe 10 mins and this company illegally took my car from a spot which I had every right to be in. After contacting the store manager of ABC liquor the Rikers Tow Company brought my car back within 30 mins. That said, If youre going to use shady business practices you should be sure you are getting the right vehicle. The blonde spotting for misparked vehicles obviously needs better training. Took thorough pics of my car this afternoon and will be having my mechanic check it out for any damages this week. Luckily I have plenty of comparison photos of exterior and interior because it just got detailed yesterday.In short. Do better.

This place is horrible. They are NOT open 24 hours as they advertise and they DO NOT answer their phones or voicemails. They are bullies and extremely disrespectful, especially their employee Jose and the lady that sits behind that little glass window. My sister went their to pick up my nephews car and she literally had to go to the emergency room after the treatment she received. She left there in tears at the way they treated her.They humiliated her and talked down to her, all because she questioned their charge. Stay Away! Rikers Roadside service is the worst service possible. They are inhumane and have lost their humanity. On 7/19/2012 i stopped in a culdesac to drop my husband and my son off for a fishing bout. I stepped out of the car so they could show me where they would be when i returned but as soon as i got 50 yards away from my car rikers pulled up. I started running back to my car to talk them and they said hurry up get the car. They left my four children out in over 95 degree weather didint even wait to talk to me, waved at me as they drove off with my vehichle, and then charged me $125.00 for 1 mile of towing and a storage fee for a half an hour. Where is the humanity? they are just after the money for the sorry little company it is. I donot recommend anyone to use this towing service.

This company is the dirtiest and trickiest that can exist in all orlando, I left my trailer and my personal car in a place that did not bother anyone and I was a victim of one of their hunting nights, I had to pay $ 625 for they towed my trailer and my car for a mile and a half to his dirty yard, I honestly should not have left my vehicle in that place but I never thought there were companies like this that are dedicated to making money in such a dirty way for me they deserve not a star

Watch for the scratches when you get your car back

Worst service ever! The front desk lady is unproffesional, racist, and would not release our vehicle even though we provided every single document that is required by the law. This place does not even deserve 1 star.

Called because this was the closest to me (10 mins away) was quoted a 1 hour wait took almost 2 hrs.

They towed our truck from Acme Truck Stop, no sign, they add sign after reserved parking and towed, anyone want to join lawsuit please respond, I know this is organized crime and lots of us got hurt
