This Is NOT a typical insurance agency office.. if it wasnt for staff professionalism and JIM personally, I would be upside down and a mess.. Jim went to bat for my family and we won, bless SUN and all, especially JIM for saving my family home.. wow, I could write a book.. but I am so lucky this agency is truly for the people.. thank you and bless... Were new to Orlando and have found Sun Insurance our best guide to how to be protected from weather & other risks as we settle into our new home. Sun now provides our auto and home insurance, plus an umbrella policy. As an independent agency, Sun was able to research and give us choices from a number of good companies at a variety of price points. We especially appreciate the insight & advice from Jim Brandt, as Florida is truly another planet (in some respects)!

Best customer service!! highly recommend. I was given 4 different agencies to find us a quote for our new home from our mortgage company. not one of them answered nor returned my call. So I went to google hoping to have better luck. I read such great reviews for Sun Insurance and called. I got someone on my first call and from there he worked fast and hard on getting us the lowest priced quotes for our new home. I have always had State Farm since my first car in 1967 and house in 1970; however, they dropped coverage on my home when it moved from rental property to my home again. Someone gave me Jim Brandts name at Sun Insurance and he found home insurance for me that was the equivalent to State Farm...and cheaper; so, I asked him if he could do the same with my car insurance...and he did! He has always quickly responded to my inquiries and resolved any issues I have had. I feel he works hard to find me the best quality deal. What more could you ask of your insurance agent?

Lesley Massey at Sun Insurance has handled policies for my rental property and two primary residences. She is always diligent about finding the policy that best suits my needs, and does a terrific job of explaining the ins and outs. Anytime I have a question (and Ive had many), she is quick to reply to let me know she is working on the answer and she never drops the ball. Professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and super nice. What more could you ask for?

I cannot stress enough the importance of buyer beware when dealing with this company. Not only did Scott M use slimy tactics in over-selling us insurance, he also was not very responsive when we tried to cancel our policy. We are still being charged nearly $400 a month and is not helpful in resolving the matter. In fact, Scott was flat out rude. Sun Insurance should be embarrassed to have a person like Scott on their team.

I dont think they watch over their customers accounts as well as they should, my homeowners ins was lapsed for 6 mos. And if I hadnt decided to shop around I probably wouldnt know about it yet. Turns out that 4 years after I moved here they still hadnt changed my mailing address. Kim sent emails to the carriers but never followed up to be sure it was done. All my premiums are on auto pay so I missed it too. My new premiums are 2 to 3 hundred dollars higher this year because I had no ins. when I switched. Same thing happened just before the last hurricane with my flood ins.P.S. I got an email from Jim Brandt asking for a review so I didnt just take it upon myself to right this. Dont know why you would send this request to an unhappy ex customer.
