You get what you pay for!Id rate this airlines consistent.Consistently bad that is.Never count on them to take off on time.Never count on them to land on time.Dont count on them having the right equipment at the right place at the right time. Yes Im waiting for them to bring the plane from a hanger to the gate but they need to find it first... lolIf you can deal with that, then you should be good to go.

Ok, first I want to say after reading all the negative reviews, 30 out of 33, mind you I found them after I booked, I was scared to death, I did a lot of praying for safety and comfort and said I know God will protect me and when its over I am going to be able to write a good review for others like me who find all the negative reviews..... now prayers were answered, in my experience the staff was friendly and helpful, flight did leave and arrive on time at my destination, it was a morning flight..... now I will say this is my first experience in a prop plane with only 12 rows of 3 seats, definitely not like flying in a jet that most of us are used too when flying commercial airlines. After saying all this I want to encourage others to write positive reviews for this airline and other businesses, not just negative, even small amounts of positivity, 3 out of 33, goes a long ways, lets add to them.

I do not know why people never leave positive reviews but if negative ones leave them quickly. I work for a major airline and am used to traveling on Airbus. I needed to go to Pensacola from Boston, MA and travel with the airline where I work to Orlando and then Silver Arways to Pensacola, FL. I must say that the customer service was 10/10 the plane was super clean and smelled even new. At 511 I felt like I had legroom compared to other airlines that use Airbus or larger planes but they dont offer you the necessary legroom. My legs always collide with the seat in front and this did not happen to me with Silver it was something that really surprised me. They really surprised me and I would definitely travel with Silver Arways again.

The flight ticket can be cheaper but the service is very slow, the airplane is extremely small and makes a lot of noise inside the airplane the entire flight. I did not like the service at all. I do not recommend if you are flying short distance where they have 37-seat airplanes. A little scary for me and my friend that was flying with me. The passengers even take pictures inside the airplane because they were also surprised with the size of the airplane. If you still want to take a chance, bring your good noise-cancelling head phones.

Ok airline. We went from key west to Orlando. On the departure listing every silver airways flight was delayed. Ours was delayed 2 hours and half. However this time passed by with reading a book or watching a video. Finally we went on the plane and it was daunting, it was the smallest plane Ive ever been on. It was a bit dirty in some places and some paper was coming off. When the plane took off it was extremely loud but once we was up in the air it was fine. The flight was good and I didnt feel in danger at all. Despite the delays and the loud set off it was a good flight.

Only giving a one star review as I cant give a review any lower. Silver airways is the worst airline I have ever experienced. Not only did they delay my flight three hours, re-delay it for only two hours, cancel it all together and tell me it was because the captain just didnt feel like flying, but they would not issue me a refund AND lost my checked luggage even though the plane never even left the airport. Why are they still a company? Who is allowing them to still be in business?Btw, could you use some lube the next time you decide to f*** me 650 miles from home?

90 minute flight, Orlando to Key West.I was informed on the morning of our flight that the plane had been downsized and there was no space for us so they put us on a later flight with AA Flying into Miami change then on to Key West.We only had 2 days in Key West which is why I paid a premium price for an early and direct flight.Very, very disappointed.

There’s always an excuse for delays for this airline. It takes 2.5 hours to get a mechanic to look at the plane, the flight is coming internationally with no bad weather but there’s a magic 1 hour delay, the flight crew doesn’t show up on time so the flight is delayed over an hour. 3 flights in a row with pitiful excuses. This airline should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. On top of that, their website doesn’t work half the time to check in and being on the phone with their customer service is like talking to a clueless toddler.

I dont normally post anything but I just cant let it go. the first leg of our trip was a 4 plus hour delay. ask why the delay no answer was given. return flight 6 hour delay again no answer on why. the plane was loaded and then they figured out the plane was overloaded any they needed people to get off the plane. the lack of training and confusion of the airline was very clear.the rest of our party was stuck on Eleuthera for days. there return flight was canceled and when ask when the next flight was available they had no answer. I would avoid this airline at all cost.

After arriving the airport in Orlando on time.We were told once reaching the gate to board the plane that there was a one hour delay. No pilot!!! He was required to get more sleep!! After reading everyones reviews on line, I agree. No More Silver. Their fees are high for baggage, they have very poor customer service, they care nothing about you, only the money!!! Their employees in all these airports serviced will be put of work very soon. Everyone needs to report this airline to Airport Authorities. Complaining to Silver Corporate will do nothing!!!!

Boarded flight from Huntsville, AL to Orlando, FL on 7/19/19. Informed Silver Airways sent “wrong size plane” and it was too small. People were put on plane but majority of luggage went on Delta Flight to Atlanta to Orlando. Due to weather flight from Atlanta to Orlando was delayed. When I called to check on status evening staff from Silver Airways was very rude and didn’t have any idea where my luggage was. After many calls the luggage was found and sent to my hotel the next day. The planes are very basic with uncomfortable seats. Forget saving a few dollars and instead book with a reliable airline!

Flight was delayed for about 20 minutes leaving FLL okay thats find but than when I go to the airport to board my flight which was supposed to take off 12:40 we get told our flight has been delayed to 2:10. I didnt get an email about the flight change until I was already at my gate. I wont be flying this airline again

The service, plane conditions and flight were abysmal. They refused to honor the baggage policy of the airline whom we booked through, costing us $70 additional dollars. The plane was in poor condition, the flight was so loud I could no talk to my wife sitting next to me without yelling, the plane vibrated excessively to the point of making both my pregnant wife and myself feel ill by the time we landed. I will never fly Silver Airways again, nor should you.

Hard to be bothered with a review when their rating is below 2 all ready but feel it is my moral obligation to share and warn others. This airline is a joke. 6 hour delay with a mix of weather and mechanical issues. Horrible communication as we sat around with our kids. In hindsight I should have gone with my gut feeling of just renting a car and doing the drive from Orlando to Key West. Would have been faster, better, less hassle and more enjoyable. Even though there were only 8 people on our flight and we sat in Orlando for 8 hours, I did not get my bag. Jumped through all the hoops. Filled our their B.S.claim procedure WHICH CAN NOT BE ONLINE! Got it Fing notarized, Fing paid for certified mail as they suggest and THEN GOT $120 OUT OF MY $240 CLAIM WITH ZERO EXPLAINATION. So easy to read through their policies that they make it such a pain in rear to even submit, I bet most people dont bother. I dont give in that easy. So in the end I wasted another couple hours of my life, spent another $20 at the post office and then did not get my full reimbursement. I turned in receipts and explained my bag was full of things I needed since I had had surgery 10 days before. Guess that didnt qualify. Silver Airlines you should just go out of business and let a decent airline pick up your customers because you are pathetic and dont deserve to exist in a free market. My bad for not doing more research. I booked through United and didnt pay much attention to my last leg.

Ok, very cheap flights.... they try to keep their planes in shape. I believe they have 22 of the old saab planes in action, getting replaced with solid art600. U want to save money, expect some delays and dont’complain. There has never been an accident since they started in 2011... if u have connection flights, use something else...

DO NOT EVER BOOK WITH SILVER AIRWAYS.Dealing with their customer care team has been a NIGHTMARE! You cant speak to anyone on the phone because they clearly use a third party agency that just hires people to sit on their couch and answer the calls. So they can only book and cancel flights, they have no ability to process refunds. So then you have to send in an email to request a refund. I sent in my request on July 17th 2018.... it is now August 10th 2018 and I still have not received an email back. I requested a refund because I had to cancel due to a funeral. Thanks for adding to my stress Silver Airways. Theyre a small airline so they cant possibly be that busy to need a month to respond to someone. Also I should note that I had to also request a refund from United Airlines since I was using them to travel back home.... well.... they answered in 3 DAYS and processed the refund without any hesitation.The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.

BE WARNED -- reviews are accurate! I never thought to check reviews on an airline before booking the flight, assuming that, while some are better than others, all have a basic level of efficiency and integrity. Not so. Dont know how these guys are still in business, since eventually theyll run out of passengers whove never used them before -- cant imagine anyone would fly them twice.Our flights, Tampa to Eleuthera, Bahamas via Ft Lauderdale. Outbound: 2 hr delay before boarding, no explanation. Once aboard another 45 minutes while they did troubleshooting on an indicator light. Not good, but not terrible; also not unusual as it turns out, since their flight status board was full of delayed and cancelled flights, with nothing showing on time.Return: connecting flight scheduled at 6 pm, delayed until 8 before arrival. 8 oclock came and went, with no change to the board. Of the 12 flights listed on their gate board (most Silver flights out of FLL use the same gate: C8), 9 were delayed (one way 8 hour delayed), and the other 3 were cancelled. Eventually around 9 I asked if the flight might actually go out, and the gate agent (who was on the phone asking if her replacement was going to show up, since she was supposed to be off work at 7), checked and said the plane had landed and should be at the gate within 45 minutes.Somewhere around 10 we were finally ready to board, went down the ramp (Silver uses turboprops so you board going down a ramp to the tarmac, across the tarmac, then stairs onto the plane). Passengers held at the bottom of the ramp, so the ramp was completely full, but no one allowed onto the tarmac. Stood on the ramp for about half-an-hour, then, guess what, back in to the gate area.Another hour (no explanation about anything, ever), and, without announcement, passengers were allowed to reboard. Actually got on the plane, but then there was some other holdup apparently because the passenger count wasnt right, and some harried gate agent came down the aisle with a piece of paper with names on it asking us each who we were.Finally took off a bit over 5 hours delayed. My travel companion commented that shed never seen an airline so disorganized. I replied that Ive never seen a hamburger stand so disorganized. The staff were all surprisingly polite, given the anger and frustration of the passengers (and the fact that they were supposed to have been off work hours ago). They seemed to genuinely not know what was going on, and the company seemed to be trying up to the last minute to try to find functioning aircraft and pilots and cabin crew to staff them -- theyll give some kind of story about the plane being almost ready up to 10 minutes before the flight is cancelled.I understand that all airlines run in to some troubles sometimes, but this seems to be SOP with Silver -- both directions the gate board was filled with yellow (delayed) and red (cancelled) flights, with nothing in green (on time). And the fares werent cheap -- there were cheaper options available, just not at the times that worked best for us, so we tried Silver. Id drive from TPA to FLL and take some other airline to the Bahamas next time. Nothing will ever convince me to set foot on a Silver aircraft again.

The worst traveling experience of my life. My flight was cancelled out of Daytona(bc of staffing issues) and there were no other flights that day. I was transported to Orlando where my new flight was delayed several hours. I missed two days of my vacation bc of this. It was ridiculous. Do not silver!

Absolutely the worst airline ever. Received 5 flight delays. Went to check in, was told probably the flight would not be canceled. Went back to gate three hours prior to departure and was told the plane left on time. Horrible, please do not fly this airline. I can not stress enough the horrible customer service. It’s been a huge ordeal.

We had an extremely poor experience with Silver Airlines. After being delayed on our flight to Huntsville for more than two hours, we were told that we would receive a weather update tonight at 7:45. We left at 7 to walk around and we came back to our gate at 7:40 and the plane had already boarded and left. When we asked the gentlemen managing the gate, he placed blame on us, and refused to make it right, as did his manager. After speaking with the desk, the manager gave direction to not take care of us. They both seemed completely oblivious to our plight. I am a manager at a supermarket that has customer service as their foundation and am completely disgusted with the lack of help I was provided with tonight. I am now paying out of my own pocket for a hotel because Silver has placed the blame on me despite boarding before the time we were told. I am also having to use an additional day of vacation because of the inefficiency of silver. Unless this is made right, we will never fly Silver again and ensure anyone we know flys a competitor.

Terrible experience! Dont fly this airline unless youre okay with your luggage being destroyed and willing to pay hundreds out of pocket to replace it. When I spoke to customer service about this, I was told I had just missed the 4 day window to report broken luggage. What kind of arbitrary policy is 4 days?! Their customer service is not really customer service. Their employees are can only parrot the policy back and will not let you speak to management when requested. Please save yourself the hassle and do not fly this airline!

I am truly disappointed with the customer service with this airline. We were at major airport, where we had to take a train to our gate and still couldnt check in until 2 hours prior. Therefore, I did a workout prior to our arrival with 5 hours of wait time because we were coming back from our cruise. I will never take Silver Airways again.

Very deceptive reservation process. Pretends to be a major Airline such as United Airlines. Even gave me a UA Flight number. When I tried to check-in online the information could not be found. So I called and this was Silver Airways with a different confirmation number. So disappointing and deceptive.

We had such an amazing time traveling with Silver Airways.We flew from Tampa to Ft. Lauderdale and over to North Eleuthera.On time or early for every leg of the trip.Easy boarding process.The best part of the trip was the culture of the small airline. Janice and Ft. Lauderdale based Nancy made us feel special, they were passionate about their growing airline and went above and beyond. Thank you again. See you soon.

This is the worst airline in the whole world. My family and I (8 of us) have been sitting here for 4+ hours waiting to board our plane and it is sitting right out on the run way. They say the system is down and that’s why they can’t board us. It’s been down twice in the last 2 hours. Absolutely terrible.

Buyer beware. Do not fly this mickey mouse airlines. The help are rude and do not keep you informed of changes. My friend and I went to Freeport using Silver. Our trip home was a disaster. We waited 20 minutes for a person to check us in at the desk and then we got to the gate and a short time later the time changed, it changed 8 times due to mechanical issues. They kept changing people at the boarding desk because we all kept asking questions and they were nasty and wouldnt tell us what was going on. We all had connecting flights elsewhere, which I missed mine. After over 4 hours I asked if they were going to do something about lunch and finally after that they gave us a voucher which the amount of money bought us a hot dog and a bottle of water. We spent about 7 hours in the airport and couldnt leave because we already went through US customs. It was a horror being stuck without many answers for an alternative way and they wouldnt help unless you really pushed for some resolution. They kept changing people at the gate when to many people were asking questions.The time was moving and I pushed for a way to fly out and finally there was a BahamasAir flight that would be leaving at 5:30 at night and I told them to get us on that flight. They promised us they would pay for a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale dinner and breakfast. They promised all kinds of things, we didnt get anywhere near what they said they were going to do. I wrote a certified 4 page letter to the corporate office detailing my total problem which took me 2 days to get home. I got back a stock letter and 2 $50 vouchers, at first they gave me one of which I told them no vouchers. Then they sent 2 which is a total insult for 2 plane tickets and additional $120. for each of us to check 1 bag totalling $1000. I hope the CEO of the company reads this because I am sure my letter never got to him. This airlines sucks all around and I was told my case is closed. Since they partner with JetBlue which is a great airline I am going to contact them and advise of what happend to me and my friend. I would give them zero stars if I was able.

Flown two times with them. Both times, flights delayed over and over (both times due to staff not being on time). Missed connecting flights and was basically told ...oh well, leave more time between flights. NEVER again.
