My experience with Frontier Airlines were mixed during this trip. If I had to give a score of 1 - 10 I would rate this trip a 7. I embarked on a trip from Kansas City to Orlando, the Frontier experience in Kansas City was very good, but my experience departing Orlando was not very good. The check-in process was confusing and not enough Frontier personnel were available to service the hundreds of passengers departing. A few passengers in line missed their flights due to the processes not being very efficient. Overall, the staff were very friendly and accommodating on all legs of my trip and the pricing was very affordable. I will fly Frontier again but they need to improve their processes at the Orlando check-in counter.
If you know what your doing flights can be very cheap. Pack light and join bags. Fast flights and always pleasant! They let me in after closing the door once. I cried and begged through the window... Acting like a complete fool for missing my flight because I stopped for a pop! Yeah I said pop. (soda pop) I do not recommend this tactic but it was all I could do.. They said the captain was waiting for refuel and would let me in, along with a couple who arrived after me, they did not have to cry.. Be early and sit your ars by the door, prepared with snacks and beverages.

Flights late on departure both ways, though made up some time in air, only to lose it again due to occupied gates on arrival. Luggage slow to arrive both ways. Best price to our destination, even with nickel and diming for luggage check, carry+on seat assignment, beverage, etc. especially if you make reservations without sufficient advance purchase to get deals from other airlines.

A budget airline is supposed to be comfortable. But the checkin process was fast and it was a good experience. I took a connecting flight to Denver from Orlando and it was cool. Im not sure if I would take frontier again but if I do I know what to expect. But so many negative review from people who expect high end service you chose this plane for a reason deal with it.

Orlando to MemphisAirfare is low. Staff ON the airplane were friendly. They didnt lose my luggage. That is where the good stops.Social distancing is non-existent. They stacked folks into every seat on every row.The gate agent was a d-bag. Was near the front of the plane, but when boarding, I was informed that we had been moved back a couple of rows. Yeah, we were bumped back eight rows. The guy gives some b.s. excuse about weight balance and rolled his eyes at me. Im travelling with young kids, so I want to get on and off quickly, if possible.Moving further back was not welcomed. It also appeared that we were one of the only ones that received this pleasure.You pay for what you get definitely applies to this airline.
After viewing most of the reviews here i decided to cancel my booking with frontier airlines, i had payed the extra fee to have a refundable flight just in case plans change. Well to my surprise refundable does not really mean refundable. Apparently now i have store credit or flight credit that i can use with them until next year... I mean i didnt fly with them so shouldnt i get my money back on my bank account? Starting to see why people are calling thrm crooks. After this experience (not even flying with them) i can tell you better pay $100 more for a more reputable and honest company. Would have a different comment and star rating if they actually refunded me my money. but unfortunately not the case. Very dishonest company

Worst experience of my life. The clerks had the the worst attitudes...see when we arrived this morning Frontier wasnt open...(and they charge for every thing extravagently.)( I ended up paying an extra $118 i didnt have to be able to come home. ) and all of us that were there were very concerned. When they finally open after 5am people were frustrated and they didnt care. Now I admit NOT all the clerks were mean... I was pleased with the guy with the ponytail ( didnt get his name.)..his attitude was great ...also Devindra went out of way to help me in my frustration. What a guy!!!- thanks D... You see the system was down and the other clerks were letting people skip the line we all had been in for a couple of hours waiting. It was terrible, as a matter of fact the airport is not nice at all. We are home and our pilot took us in !!! We all clapped.!!!

My flight is supposed to leave 220pm to STL today, the website n the counter says on time but we are all sitting here.No one is announcing anything ir saying any updates on the web nor in the airport. I love Frontier n thier staff i worked for Hilton Airport n took care of their staff when i was a guest service manager there. This is not what i expected from frontier airlines knowing how professional all their crews are, its 220pm now and still no updates

Then, I called for a refund and the agent on the phone was unprofessional as well and he was supporting his staff. They say you get what you pay for... this is true here.On top of charging for carry on, and asking around $3 for a bottle of water where other airlines gives you free cups, those werent bad yet.Got on seat and oh boy it really was a hard seat. McDonalds booth chair was more comfortable. Chairs are not reclineable. The food tray was a joke. Its about half the size of other airlines. My tablet barely fit on it.First flight left about 20 minutes late but luckily I had a 4 hour layover so I was ok.Avoid frontier especially if you have more the. 4 hours flight.
Surprised at how quick the folks at Frontier got us through the line to check bags. Line looked ridiculous especially with social distancing but it only took about 15 minutes for frontier to get through a ton of people.

Orlando to NorfolkWe arrived at 4:30 am flight leaves at 6am we couldn’t check in because they blocked everything on self service. We waited in line to check in and the entire Norfolk flight supposedly missed flights. We tried to rebook no flights until Tues. they didn’t care and so everyone can get refunds we had to wait for manager. Terrible service

I go home to try and see my family for the first time in 2 years because of the navy and the line was so long that when they made their “last call” no one heard it so me and 10 other people had to reschedule their flights because of laziness. Cheap prices can add up rather quickly, especially when purchasing luggage.. I definitely prefer Southwest as a cheap option, especially if traveling any distance! I flew Frontier to Vegas.. it was terrible so I learned to never do that again but I tried it again for a flight to Florida. Our tickets say Gate 11 at 530, the display says Gate 14 at 609. No one knows anything! The original flight was supposed to leave at 6. I received an email they were changing it to 530pm. It is now 652 and I JUST received a text stating the flight is delayed and expected to depart at 645p.. which is clearly not happening. They completely lack communication and now that we are about to leave an 1.5hr later than we should... they have not even apologized for the delay. Cheap flights apparently = Lack of customer service.

Sure, Ive flown with them a few times when I couldnt get a better direct flight but theyre too shady for me to even begin to think about using them again.They cancelled my last flight at the last minute putting me in a bad spot to find another one which wasnt easy or cheap.Sure, it happens, I get it. ...but then came the hoops about the money. And once theyve got that money man, they dont want to let it go and theyre going to give you a very hard time about it.Customer service suggested the app. App pointed to the website. Website pointed to customer service so I called again and waited and waited and waited. Finally, I was told I had to file a refund request which was annoying and time consuming; and took four days for them to tell me they were giving me a credit I had to use in 90 days. What? Thats not acceptable!So thats it, Im done. Soo much easier just to dispute the charges with my credit card company and get the refund that way than deal with the hassle.Hey, its not like I didnt prepay for a flight they cancelled. Should have been an automatic refund.Bad business.

Do not! I say again, DO NOT book with frontier. Over the last couple of weeks they have changed my flight time 3 times. One of the changes was from 7pm to 7 am. When I called to tell them that time didn’t work for me they said it was within their same day policy and I couldn’t get my money back. So I accepted. Then they changed my flight again from having no layover to having a 11 hour layover in Denver. So I called them again and told them I wanted my money back. They said because I already accepted a itinerary change “not my choice” I couldn’t even get a credit shell anymore. I have spent 4 hours on the phone and they refuse to give me my money back. There will surely be a class act lawsuit against frontier very soon. They are totally scamming people. DO NOT book with them they are cheap for a reason. They literally let you buy a flight they have no intention of actually flying, and they just change the time and give you layovers.
This is a budget airline. A budget jet. Inexpensive ticket. Seats dont recline at all, they are uncomfortable, only water is free, all other drinks and snacks cost. The People were very nice. Just want whomever to know, it is budget, inexpensive airline.
Do they deserve 1 star? Sure. They didnt manage to screw up snacks. I arrived in Orlando 6 hours after I should have. Had to board the plane twice. The second time, another passenger said she was going to complain as she snapped a photo. After she was seated, the stewards went up to her aggressively. All I heard him say was if you post that I will find you. Lets not forget, there were weather problems in Orlando causing our delay. But United wasnt delayed. Does United have better pilots? Are their planes better maintained? It eas a horrible experience and I will never use Frontier again.
I would love to know there deal had to wait a very long time for bags to be delivered to the baggage claim area.I understand a half hour but waiting an hour with no communication from frontier is not right. And now our bags are delayed or lost same thing happened same place 2 weeks prior to my father in-law I highly recommend not using frontier airlines.The ticket agent there although did his bestwas very much lacking in knowledge.We where also lied too about a hold do to lightening regarding retrieving our bags and there was no lightening 2 flights where loaded and boarded during this so called lightening delay.

Girl at the counter was very rude seems like she was having a bad day, I’ve arrived 50 minutes before my flight to Vegas and she refused to take my luggage, she also refused to help me find another flight, The nice gentleman next to her helped me out, Lady if you having a bad day just stay home, you work at customer service don’t drop your frustration at people.

Absolutely sucks. We just flew Saturday morning. My husbands luggage is so torn we cannot possibly use it to come home. We are in Disney... where luggage is so expensive and obviously don’t have a car to go buy elsewhere. They offer a future flight credit and a small credit towards luggage. We won’t be flying again anytime soon. This is our one vacation. We’ve spent over three hours on phones.. and wasted quite a bit of vacation time with no helpful remedy. Really not thrilled and this is really dampening vacation. No thanks to Megan and Jannica because they were really no help. Won’t fly frontier ever again. The cheap flight isn’t worth the frustration and spot we’re now stuck on. This vacation was carefully budgeted and it’s taking out of my daughters money to buy freaking luggage that we wouldn’t have needed had they just been careful! Justin Rose Hopefully someone can remedy this... but I’m not hopeful.
I do not recommend flying with frontier. We booked a flight to get home on a certain day with just 1 stop and they changed it twice adding another stop and an overnight stay! When we asked if they could accommodate us for the $500 they said they cant do anything! Never flying frontier again!

You get what you pay for. Endless delays with little to no explanation. Booked a direct flight in December from Philly to Nashville in June. Turns out the flight adds a 2 hour layover in Orlando that turns into a 5 hour layover. Would have been quicker to drive.

Attempting to check in here was a joke. We arrived an hour before boarding. When checking in they had not added our infant. It took the gentleman checking us in long enough to get our baby entered we missed their arbitrary 45 minute cutoff and we could not check in.You have not experienced stress until you find out you are stuck across the country with an infant.The people at the counter were of no help and refused to indicate we were on time to be able to check in and they caused the issue. The manager was extremely rude and refused to do anything beyond telling us it was our fault they took so long.Her suggestion was pay to switch to the next flight with 3 layovers and 20 hours in airports. Not an option really.We were not alone. There were four other groups in the same boat.If you want to get yourself stranded in Orlando and out hundreds of dollars make sure to fly Frontier. However, if you would like to make it home, choose someone else.
I’m writing this review during the boarding process, I’m sitting still waiting for better service. Flight delayed, I’m seated in the front while my spouse is in the rear smashed into a seat with an obese person damn near sharing his seat. This airline along with Spirit are by far the worst. Wanted to rate it a negative zero. If you ever plan on traveling I HIGHLY recommend you never fly Frontier. My flights are almost, literally, ALWAYS canceled or delayed. The check-in and check bags line are ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS the longest line in the airport. Amongst all the airlines Frontier seems to always fall short. The crew on the planes are kind, and actually attentive when it comes to their jobs, it’s the employees at the check in desk that’ll make you want to go insane. Worst attitudes always. Not friendly, horrible customer service, but you can’t blame them.. they work for a company that is NEVER organized.The moral of this review, DO NOT fly Frontier.
I tried checking in to my flight yesterday via my confirmation email and couldn’t check in without downloading the app. On the shuttle to the airport I get an email notification of a flight delay and go on frontiers website and it has not updated any delays nor does it’s say my arrival time. Every time I’ve had to fly frontier I’ve had issues and will no longer subject myself to flying frontier as I am a frequent flyer and value my time and patience.
This was my first time flying. NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS AIRLINE!!! THE FLIGHT WAS CONSTANTLY (TWICE) DELAYED WITHOUT NOTICE!! NO ONE HAD A CLUE WHY IT WAS BEING DELAYED 5HOURS WITH NO COMMUNICATION. I FELT LIKE I WAS WAITING ON THE GREY HOUND BUS!!! 🤬😠😡

If I could give frontier a 0 star I would. We received credits from frontier due to them messing up a prior trip from February of 2019, we booked our tripFor my friend wedding June 2019, the day of my flight the flight was delayed 3 times and finally cancelled due to weather when it wasn’t even bad weather. They wouldn’t change our flights or at least switch us to a different flight until Saturday and it’s only Wednesday. They said we could get a refund, and tried to only give us $18.00 when to paid way more than that even with our credit. We will never ever fly frontier again. They’re terrible and their customer service is trash.
I asked for a supervisor /manager in Washington never got one I needed to find out the procedure for lost and found as I lost my keys and the check in person had no idea what to tell me when I explained to her my problem she did tell me if I lost them more than a day ago theyre gone --but where did they go ??? Shes in the wrong job doesnt know customer service. I finally got my answer in Orlando from the young lady that assisted me with wheelchair service She found a supervisor and brought me a slip of paper that had directions on finding my keys Sad Frontier Airlines comfy seats and wonderful caring crewmembers

Absolute worst flying experience. Flight was supposed to leave at 5:30 pm yesterday 6/2/19, was given a bunch of b.s. by the airline staff and flight was delayed to 7pm, then to 8 then to 10 then to 1am then eventually cancelled and was told to be back at 6am. Was told they would reimburse my hotel fee, get to the airport and then was told oh we dont do that Here? Wait what? Now we have to complete some form online and blah blah blah. Needless to say I will not be flying frontier again. If I could give a zero I would.
They have free checked bags for active military but not for veterans...a complete disgrace to those who served. Meanwhile in American Airlines I got upgraded seats and everything. Get it together Frontier.
First flight from Denver was delayed because there was no crew. Return flight from Orlando was delayed because there was no plane. No employee at either delay had any information about the delay. The staff at Denver did seem to relay information when they received it, but the staff at Orlando didn’t relay any information. I used the app to check in both times and the gate information on the boarding pass from the app was different than the gate on the boarding pass issued at bag check and neither were correct. Our flight in Denver changed gates 3 times and the flight in Orlando changed 3 times and not once were these changed updated on the app.
Just spend the extra money. Its not you might be delayed! Its you will be delayed! Not sure if anyone reads these reviews to do anything about it, but after the third time flying, forget it! If you have a confrence, fly with someone more reliable. This airline truly sucks.
Terrible customer service with conflicting excuses given. Never flying with Frontier again. Ignorant and rude service for flight 1164 Orlando to Philadelphia. Flight delayed from 1:35 until 3:07. Still not on plane. Attendants mocking customers and being very disrespectful.
I witnessed how they refused this family of three to get into the plane because they were complaining about the really bad service and lack of orientation. This Frontier employee was really rude, impolite and never apologized, he never really listened to the customers, he wanted to argue. We wait for almost 2 hours, they changed the gate number last minute and didnt update the screens.
Worst airline ever! Change flight dates and don’t tell you. They also claim that with your military ID that bags will fly free but it’s only active military not their dependents. Only customer service is in Philippines and Asia.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! By the time you pay for bags etc the aggravation isn’t worth it. Will never fly them again!!!! Frontier is a cheap priced flight option if you dont mind repeated delayed flights. If youre time is important, go somewhere else where your time is respected. But if youre only interested in price, and you have all the time in the world, this is the airline for you. Its not for everyone. Its just a cheap option paved with inconvenience. If you have an allergy of dust mites, take your Benadryl before you get on the fight. The carpet inside the airplane in filthy, stained, and the plane is dirty. Basic cleanliness shouldnt be negotiable. Why not have a clean plane? If you cant keep it clean, what about maintenance?
Stole 150 bucks because of a bug in their website. Called customer service and was told if I want to fix their mistake it will be another 160 dollars. I will never be using them again.

DO NOT FLY with Frontier if there are other options! Our family had a Walt Disney trip that was all planned out and ready to go. Frontier canceled our flight less than 12 hours before heading to Orlando! Our flight was scheduled 8:10 AM and they texted me at 9:59pm the night before! When I called for a reason for the cancellation, they said it was because of weather conditions which was partly cloudy during day of departure. They did not have any other flight options for us the next day. Needless to say, they really screwed over our family vacation and added tremendous stress to us since we had to scramble for a last minute flight. I am still currently waiting for a refund for the flight. Please look for other options. Lesson learned. Never again.
I live in Florida. I moved here three years ago. I had 2 sisters in Indianapolis IN who passed away 2 days apart lastFebruary and I needed to get there right away. Frontier Airlines (Orlando) was extremely helpful. The total experience with them was very nice. I am using them again this month (May). I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

Changed gates on me and didnt announce it until 5 minutes before Im supposed to board after sitting at the gate for over an hour. I had to go to the other side of the airport and through security again. I barely made my gate. The flight was not full and the emergency exit seats were open. I sat in one of the seats and the stewardess told me I had to pay 50 bucks to sit there. I asked her so ve you made me run across the airport dont you think I should get the upgrade for free and she said no. Talk about bad customer service. I got to the gate with only a few minutes to spare and overheard the gate attendants saying they were not going to hold the plane for the people who were coming from the other gate. I was lucky enough to have some nice people let me ahead of them in security or I wouldnt have made it. I would give them a zero if i could. I guess you get what you pay for.

Luckily my wifes sister is a travel agent that got through to customers service to find out the flight was cancelled. If you book with them allow 2 -3 extra days.Good luck

Good international airport
Sitting at the gate, boarding has been delayed for 30 minutes thus far and still nothing. The frontier flight at the next gate to us was delayed and then cancelled!!! It is now 5:52AM!!! Who wants to leave their house at 3:30 am only to be told “go home”. Also the ground staff is rude. Not sure I’ll fly again. I’m trying to leave for my mothers funeral with 2 minor children
I would recommend they turn their Airlines into a Grocery store instead. Flight was delayed 4 times with 3 different gates. I’ve been traveling since really long time with different Airlines. This is my worst experience amongst them all. Not worth not spending additional $200 on flying with another Airlines. Not recommended at alllllllllllllllllllll.
