Awesome fitness center. Not overcrowded, clean, peaceful, the perfect size--not too big, employees are very nice. Also this fitness center has a track and thats very important to us. Carly signed me, my husband and daughter up and shes amazing. Dean is great and truly welcoming. All that we have encountered are nice.

I recommend. The employees are nice. They have basketball. Classes. Stretching area. Spa. Therapy pool. pool. Sauna hot tub and steam room after working out to lossen those muscles. Free weights machines. :)

Missed a year due to Covid, but so glad to be back. Super clean, friendly staff, accessible pool and therapy pool. Large locker room with many showers, whirlpool, dry and wet saunas.

Great place to get fit for people of all ages. The staff is great and helpful. Love my yoga and water aerobics classes. There is a class for everyone no matter what level your at and you can workout on the machines yourself. So happy to have this place in my community.

Great place to work out. Never crowded and very clean. Has pool, sauna, steamroom and hot tub. All the amenities. A little pricey but same cost as anyplace around Orland with a pool. Friendly and helpful staff as well.

This gym is the best that I have visited so far. Very clean, spacious and with lots of equipment to choose from. Usually not crowded. The pool has recently been renovated and looks great. There are also several membership types available. If you are the type of person that usually works out outdoors, and you only need a gym in the winter months or bad weather; you can purchase a short term membership or pay per visit. Highly recommended!

This is an incredibly well equipped health club. There are plenty of aerobic and resistance machines as well as rooms for free weights and floor workouts. There are 2 pools, a full size gym and studios used a wide assortment of group classes. And all classes are included in the price of membership!But this is more than your usual health club. This center makes it a priority to serve those of us who require exercise just to keep our conditions under a semblance of control. I have Multiple Sclerosis and OPHFC offers both MS Yoga (in chairs) and MS Aqua. Both are designed and taught to let those like me move as much as possible but not too much. Others come to the center with Parkinsons, stroke, cardiac and pulmonary problems. And much more. The warm water pool is perfect for those suffering joint problems. And all staff is trained to handle those of us with special needs. Even the machines are place far enough apart to make wheelchair and walker access possible.If you want a full feature health club, you wont be disappointed. But if your really NEED to exercise and feel intimidated or ignored by other clubs, this is the PERFECT place for you.

Excellent gym, and I have been to many. Entire pool area being closed for two months for a complete repair and paint job. Tons of classes and every piece of equipment you need available. Staff is always pleasant and the trainers have their cv on the wall. Easy join with options to suspend for students of for injuries. I love this gym.

Best gym ever! Has everything you can want in a gym, including awesome staff! Very clean. They also offer massage therapy and facials, great therapist! Def. Worth a membership!

Good swimming pool and therapy pool. Staff is always willing to assist. Trace is a good personal trainer. He has helped me a lot.

When I moved to Orland Park, I started looking for a place to work out. I visited several facilities and by far the OPFC was the best. Best price, best staff, best equipment and a whirlpool in the mens locker room that blew me away!!!!!!!! This is a great place to work out and meet people. If you are anywhere near the area, take a minute and check them out. You won;t be disappointed.

Would give five stars but not too many equipment is there, shower area need a lot upgrades. Otherwise love privacy in womens locker room, sound a, steam room and whirlpool, awesome!!! But after all is too expensive

I have been a member from when the club first opened. The staff are professional and very friendly. The variety of classes give you so much freedom to do what is right for you. Always clean. I have always felt very comfortable at this club.

Unhelpful, unwelcoming, nitpicking, prickly, supervisor Ray .... nasty with a NeverEnding repertoire of caustic retorts.Other weekdays staff at front desk not welcoming either.Spa shower takes 25 minutes for hot water to flow.Spa shower is missing tile on the floor (a tripping hazard).Spa shower has no emergency cord for assistance.Therapy pool ceiling has plainly visible large sheets of paint falling off the ceiling into the pool.When I used the womens locker rooms they WERE NOT CLEAN ... The showers were moldy and the womens hot tub regularly had a ring of MOLD /the internal side / just above water level.The whole place needs a good scouring, as well as, significant refurbishing.The parking lot is torn up ( as usual).The parking is also, and has historically been, not enough for the size of the building especially at class time!!!The inadequate parking comes equipped with moronic social justice warriors leaving highly verbally violent notes on peoples car windshields due to the grossly limited parking space issues!!...Administration neither bothers to respond nor monitor.The womens locker room attendant Kathy S neither cleans much nor attends much to the towels.... she simply stands around talking.... and disrespectfully barks if you ask her for a towel when youre soaking wet & cold.Club director repeatedly notified of cleaning staff issues... very dismissive... to the point of laughing and joking about it.! $! Overpriced for what youre getting. !$!

Ive been at the gym for a while. This is the least crowded gym in the area. Super clean and tons of space to work. It has everything you need. 10 stars from me.

Beautiful facility. Friendly staff. There are lots of class schedules to fit anyones schedule. My only complaint is the price. Its a bit high for residents.

Went for aquatic physical therapy. Had Mike for a therapist and he really kicked my butt. Have had 3 back surgeries and cant recommend it enough. A great experience if youre in constant pain like I was.

The classes are great!!! Everyone was so nice and motivated me!! Loved how you get to workout at you own pace.Coach was amazing!

The pools here are wonderful and necessary. As the only indoor, heated pool in the area, residents from all over the southwest suburbs rely on it for healing and therapy in addition to fitness, fun aqua classes and a general sense of community.

Beware of glowing reviews because these types of reviews could easily be written by the companys own marketing staff, family and friends. The negative reviews with specific examples are more helpful, informative and believable. Good luck.

Equipment, personnel, cleanliness, pools etc. all top notch. Best fitness center in the south-southwest suburbs. Pulmonary rehab brought me here a couple of years ago, and this facility is now a permanent part of my daily living.

Had a membership there for 3 months, went to renew it like normal and they told me I was a liability because I wasn’t 18 and couldn’t renew it despite the fact from the beginning, I signed up with the intentions of going there alone. We literally asked if that’d be a problem, and they said no. Went there everyday for 3 months straight and this is how they treat their customers. Computer systems were down so they couldn’t check anything (and had been down all day) They then proceeded to accuse me of running a private business out of their facility because I meant with a family friend there to help them with competitive swimming. (Because I have quite a bit of knowledge in the field.) When I told them this, they told me that I was handed an envelope at the end and they didn’t believe it. That would be because it was god damn Valentine’s Day, and the kids both made me valentines as a thank you. Manager on duty was beyond rude and offensive and talked to me like I was dirt. There is a reason the facility almost went under a year ago. I’m 16 years old, I don’t have that much money to begin with because the only jobs I can work are mostly minimum wage. I’ve given you how many hundreds of dollars and this is how you treat me? I went in there last week and got a one day because I didn’t want to renew my membership for a month at that point, and they let me in alone along with 4 other highschoolers under 18 to do a swim practice (all at separate times) I will never go back there, I’ll pay the extra couple bucks a month to go to Moraine or Lifetime.

My experience was with rehab at the health and fitness center. I was so pleased with my results.

I have had nothing but a great experience at this place. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the free towel service is excellent.

I cannot say enough good things about this place, but I want to focus on their physical therapy clinic. IT IS WONDERFUL! As someone who has frequented Athletico and ATI over the past 8 years, I have been well versed in PT... But i have not had an experience remotely close to the experiences I have here. The therapists are friendly, knowledgeable and sincere. They push you when you need to be pushed and scale back when you need to take a break. They walk you through each move and provide you with home sheets detailing the moves so that you can continuously progress each time you come in. I will continue to refer any one I know that needs physical therapy here.Ps - you dont need a membership to see the physical therapists! Its through Palos hospitals systems and your insurance. What a wonderful hidden gem!

Place looks like its falling apart from every corner and now that its government owned, I hope Orland Park residents are excited about pouring money into something 99% of them will never see!! I still dont understand why a small village needs TWO nearly identical facilities other than appeasing a small minority of voters during an election year...

Palos Hospital is tearing down Palos Health & Fitness to build a parking garageThis is a terrible decision. Palos Health & Fitness is a great facility with wonderful programs. I enrolled in the Pulmonary Rehab 5 years ago with COPD. It was absolutely a fantastic program. I was in remission for 3 years. Unfortunately, the COPD came back and was looking forward to join the program again.It is a real shame that Palos Hospital is abandoning commitments they made to our community. Lets make it another medical office facility which can be built anywhere.Mazeika claims they are not abandoning the community but the facts they are quickly slamming the doors shut proves otherwise.- Disappointed in Southland
