Well lets start with the guy at the counter, seems like talking to a customer might take too much energy as this guy wouldnt even make it as a Mumble rap artist!Then theres the issue of not having any of the fasteners...1/4-28..not very odd right?? Was also looking for some flat head metric screws. There metric inventory consisted of a single shelf of socket head caps and only about 5 boxes.If you have the time I would suggest ordering online at mcmastercarr.com

This is a direct review of the orem Utah location and should not be taken as a reflection of all fastenal location. Some of the worst customer service I have ever received. They were not able to look up a simple rivet, that they had in stock in their store. Had called another location looking for it and was directed to the orem location because it showed they had them in stock. Finally got the part number called orem back and asked for them to be put in will call and he says they’ll be here for ya and I asked if he needed a name and the guy hangs up before even taking my name to put them on will call. Get there to pick them up and they have no clue what I’m talking about and I have to go through the whole process again needless to say I spent 45 min between the two days dealing with them for something that another location was able to pull off in 5 min so if at all possible DO NOT waste your time with this location. This place is awesome. The guy that helped me (tall guy) was so much help.. I went for some odd screws and bolts, and they had everything plus some. The customer service he provided was outstanding. Not only did he find my one in a million bolts and screws, but it was a quick friendly visit.. I will definitely be back to this location.

I love the staff at this store! Super friendly! Everyone always provides wonderful customer service. They also have very specific items that I cannot find at other hardware stores!

I’ve worked two completely different jobs that required a relationship with fastenal, that being said I thought the first rep I had to deal with was a fluke. He was beyond nice and went 100% out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed to get my work done even it was a rush order. Yesterday I met a delt with Israel from American fork. It’s not a fluke when multiple people go above and beyond for their customers, It’s how the company operates. It reflects greatly on their service, on their reps and leaves a positive impression on employee like me to the point I would recommend their services to anyone who questions it with all the water my words carry. If you’re in need of supplies and everyday work needs give them your business and you won’t regret it. More people should operate like they do.

Staff was super helpful helping me find obscure fasteners. Much cheaper than big box stores for what I was looking for.
