Sometimes you have to wait here quite sometime. I would highly recommend making a reservation. Even then expect to wait several minutes. For that reason and the reason they couldn’t fix my laptop I bought at that store they get 4 and not 5 stars. Other than that the staff does seem incredibly helpful and actually care about your tech problems. Way better than other local places like simply Mac!
Walked into store, asked employee withsome help with a home router system. He said he would be right over to help, we waited for 45 mins. and no one came to help. Really disapointed with service at the store.
Way overpriced. They quoted me $350 to repair my computer. I ended up doing it myself in 30 minutes after buying a $80 part.
Ive been trying to cancel my subscription for a long time, when I call to do it I have to wait on the phone for loooong time until finally they hung on me. I do not like this service.
I went to the Geek Squad around 7 when it wasn’t busy and explained my situation to a guy named Cade and he was super responsive and a great guy! He definitely tried to do everything he could to help me fix my computer problem and it made the process 10x easier!
Just want to give another review of this place before the black Friday deals on phones hit the market. Do not I repeat do not buy the geek squad protection program. It is the biggest waste of money and time. I bought this for my phone and was told that if the screen broke or there was water damage that the deductible would be 50 dollars and they would fix it. Come to find out that they do not actually fix phones. I basically paid 170 dollars for nothing. They will only replace the phone for 200. Do not expect them to fix your phone. Keep your money and go somewhere else. Please do not pay for it!

These guys are AWESOME!!! I have had Geek Squad support for probably five years now and they have impressed me every time with their service. I love the ability for them to fix issues remotely so I can stay at home, and when I had an issue that I had to bring it in, Michael at the Orem store was AMAZING!!! Very knowledgeable, friendly and fast.I would recommend to anyone!
Awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a $1000 laptop from best buy and bought the 5 year extended warranty. After 1 year my computer would not stay connected to the internet. It kept cutting in and out. I took it in 3 separate times to get fixed and each time they said that they couldnt fix it cause it was only sometimes broken. The third time I told them to send it in to their shop to have a professional fix it and after a week instead of sending back to the store like they said they would. They send it to my house in Georgia which created a hassle to get it back and when I did it worked even less!!!!These people are awful and dont train their staff. Not worth it and not helpful at all!!!!!
Had an appointment. Showed up and was told I would have to reschedule because they were too busy. Thats it, no other explanation, just too busy. How does that work for a business model? Now I know why big box stores are going out of busines . Amazon has never told me they are too busy!!
Completely incompetent. If you like paying double insurance on a phone when you dont need to buy a phone here! They dont know how to take the insurance off of Geek Squads side of the system when you tell them you want insurance directly thru Verizon instead.So in summary they like to charge you double on insurance and then refuse to refund you after they lie to you saying they are going to cancel the insurance on your old phone that you are trading in and on the new phone that you are getting for the old trade in.EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT LIARS THAT LIKE TO STEAL FROM YOU AND DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE DOING.

I’m not sure why they say they can repair gaming consoles when you’re online making an appointment. I know more about how to get my ps4 out of safe mode and up and running again than the guy does. I did it myself before, took it somewhere else that doesn’t do it anymore the last time. I can do it myself but it’s such a pain. I’ll have to do it myself now. I have installed my internal hard drive a couple of times.He didn’t even know how to take the controller to mess with it to even try. I had to do it for him. He seemed totally lost. I’m not sure why he works there when he wasn’t even helpful. I read the reviews online before I made an appointment and went in. They did not go above and beyond for me. They didn’t even try.They weren’t helpful at all. They just said they also lack the usb tools to get the thing off the internet to help me, and told me to call sony. They also said try the same shop I just told him stopped doing repairs two weeks ago. I’m really upset. I shop at Best Buy and have the gamer membership. They do not live up to their name. I should work there, I’m more geek than that guy! Please take the option to repair game consoles off of the appointment thing because it was a huge waste of my time!!

I gave them my laptop 3 weeks ago to replace a battery, I just called in, and they said that the battery is still on back order and wont be in for another week. Amazon prime ships those batteries out in 2 days. What are they even doing over there? This is 100% the worst tech repair Ive ever dealt with. 0/10 will not use geek squad ever again.
