Options galore. Maybe not some of the latest models, because calling in or stopping by to check vehicle model availability would be best. Purchased a couple of batteries last year that are still working strong. Know your parts and part numbers that your are looking for. Though, the parts counter guys are pretty knowledgeable.

Ive been going to pic A part for over 10 years. Ive been fixing cars a long time and these guys are doing it right. Great manager who makes everything run smoothly. Always Quality used parts at a great deal I might add. Ill never go any where else.

Big man mark can be salty sometimes but hes a real sweetheart. The rest of the boys there always make me smile and laugh whenever I come by.

A pretty good salvage yard I can usually find the parts Im looking for

I called first to inquire about the availability of a certain year, make and model of car. They said there were 5 or 6. So I drove out there and paid my $1 and they looked in their system and told me where to go in the yard. I went there and there were no cars of that make/model. I went back to office and they called out to yard and confirm med that all those cats had been removed. If you are going to operate a salvage yard and regularly remove cars, you need to have a system in place to update your systems. Elementary. I got my $1 back.

Not much to says, this is a junk yard to find parts for your project car or even just so you can practice pulling motors or stuff out of your own type of car before you do it to your own.

Utah Pic a Part is my go to location for auto repair parts. They don’t always have every vehicle, but they do have an excellent selection of vehicles. Some people may not like having to extract the parts yourself, but I appreciate the chance to “practice” working on a car before doing the real job. Plus the added benefit of getting the exact parts I need for a very discounted price. Sometimes you just need some lug nuts, a certain bolt or hose, or a belt. I have rarely walked out of the yard without exactly what I needed. Highly recommend.

This place has an amazing amount of diversity. I can find makes and models and years i cant find other places. They even have a premium lot for newer and nicer or rarer cars.

The manager at the Orem lot went above and beyond to fix a mix-up around using store credit at the Ogden lot. He was very patient as he heard my frustrations and made sure I was well taken care of. He even stayed late on a shift to make sure he could make things right. The lot is well organized and easy to navigate. Happy to be a loyal customer.

Ed worked diligently to take care of me and give a good price for the car I was junking. I was really impressed with his customer service, and felt like he went above and beyond to help me out of a bad situation. Ive bought parts from the yard here before, and had a great experience then too. Would highly recommend whether you are junking a car, or looking for parts.

Great prices and generally have things I need there. Wear shoes or boots, NO OPEN TOE SHOES/SANDALS! Also, nobody under the age of 18 will be admitted. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beat place in Utah for salvage parts.

This place is LEGIT. Very reasonable, my first time was today. I found what I needed, grabbed the tools and off I went. Very happy with them, Ill be returning next time I need something (hopefully I wont need to for a while).

Got the gas cap door for my truck $5 I thought it was reasonable.

The guys gave us a fair price for our older model car and the process was really easy.

Not sure if management turned pathetic or just the employees but they charge incredibly high amounts for almost broken salvage parts.Wanted to charge me $65 for a part that cost $45 at the dealership. This place has turned into a big joke. Used to go there, not anymore.

Been here a few times over the past year when I couldnt find what I needed in Salt Lake. My most recent visit they had closed the public hand sink, which is irritating.Some parts are priced very reasonably, some are not. A transfer case shouldnt cost as much as an engine. Glad I asked before I committed to pulling.

Only a dollar to get in and parts are pretty cheap. Very well organized, you can use the online inventory to tell you what vehicles they have and where to it.

The vehicles on the lot were easily accessible and were safely spaced. After much searching, I was unable to find my part, but as I gave up, Mike came out and helped me with an alternative option. Im grateful for the time he took to fix the issue.

This place is horrible!!!!I have been here a few times and it has been great, but this time my experience was enough to make me think twice about returning. Had to wait for ever then get mediocre service then charged for the wrong parts. The lady in there didnt seem like she knew what she was doing and did not try to help anyone with any urgency even though the office was full of people the other guy was standing there just staring at the customers. And come to find out the guy who usually helps me no longer works there.

I came up from southern Utah to see my mom in Provo and seen his Pick-A-Part once before and came here this time of day the exact same motors I was looking for which is pretty hard to find but most of all the kid at the front desk Jerum he was as good as could be friendly Fair so I suggest this place to anybody Id give it a five star but I dont give nothing to firestar unless theres a something special or a pretty brunette included haha no its a great place

I called the business up and explained to the guy what was wrong with the vehicle we were trying to sell (bad air conditioner and thermostat, would run if those were replaced) and they offered $250 with pickup.I walk in the door to do paperwork and sign over the vehicle, and they offer me less than $50 with pickup.Suffice it to say, I walked away and will now refuse to do business with them EVER again due to the dishonesty they used to get me in the door. I highly advise that no one else does business with them anymore as well. Shame on them.

My personal experiences at this junk yard. I’ve been here 10-20 times in the past year. Most of the time they don’t nitpick you for prices, but every so often they do. Selection isn’t the best, but sometimes they have a lot of good stuff. Of course you can’t wear open toed shoes in a junk yard, and you gotta remember this is a junk yard not a Mercedes Benz dealership. Customer service isn’t going to be the best and they will have no idea what parts are available on what cars. With that said I still give this lot a 4/5!!

Well managed wrecking yard, fair prices and the best price paid for my salvage vehicle in the area. Office was amazingly clean and air conditioned. The desk personnel were most efficient and cordial. This is not your typical salvage yard.

They wont take anything back or exchange that don’t have a warrenty that’s not good customer service and they take advantage of disabled people that’s on a fixed income there crooks I will never deal with them again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone ever

BEWARE!!! Was a great visit at first; the guy quoted us 22 bucks for a drive shaft (prices are posted on their website). We found one pretty easily too. THEN when we go to check out the douche canoe says its 22 bucks for each half of the part!! It was one shaft that did not split in two!!! The guy had dark hair and a dark beard. Just be careful and stand your ground. Ill be making a contract with them next time I absolutely need a part so that prices stay what they claim.

They were very nice. I found the vehicle I needed the part from pretty quickly. I had to leave and get the right tool and they were fine with it. The part was very reasonably priced. And my car is fixed by little old me.

The sign outside the shop says its open until 5 p.m. but they wont let you in after 4:45pm. I showed up at 4:45pm after driving 45 minutes and explained that to them. The employees didnt care and wouldnt let me look for the specific part I needed. It would have taken me 5 minutes, if that, to check the one vehicle they have but they didnt care. An hour and a half of driving in rush hour wasted because of employees who dont care. Ill never visit this Pic A Part location again.

Found what I needed. Its a auto salvage yard. I pay $1 to get in. Go get the the parts of the vehicles, they tell you the price. They give me a warranty also. Great for a do it yourselfer. Its also nice that I can go find little parts like knobs, levers, cup holders etc.

Awful front desk employees. I bought a switch for $25, I thought that was more than they told me on the phone so I looked it up on their website which listed the switch at $5.50. I bought it back in after 2 minutes of looking up the price, showed the guy at the counter their listed price and he said that he didnt care what their site said. I asked to return it and he refused to give my money back. He was extremely unprofessional and rude. Its not the only time I have had a bad experience at Pic A Part, I thought they would weed out their poor employee selections, but I guess the management doesnt understand who keeps them in business. I wont be coming back, its better to deal with people of integrity than insulting proud liars.

Called to get an estimate on scrapping a car to them and they denied interest in the vehicle which is all fine and dandy. However the employees attitude and tone over the phone was very rude. Simply hung up the phone as soon as he finished saying they werent interested without hearing the condition or any inquries I might have had.

We found ourselves in an emergency situation needing to get a wiper arm for our Mazda 6...it was frustrating at first theyll only tell me they had Mazda 6s available but didnt know if the arm was available so we had to make the drive. It was a rush time frame but they had it and it was available...they definitely live up to the positive reputation Ive heard.

Great customer service, great prices. I checked around for a replacement headlight with the other used parts companies in the area. One company had no matching part, the other wanted almost triple the amount I paid here, and the lens had a BB hole in it. Fast and easy to work with and their prices were awesome. Thanks!

Called before to make sure they had a 2002 Tacoma. After paying just to get in I figured out it was 2005 which has a completely different body style. They wasted my time and charged me to go in the yard which didn’t even have the same truck.

I have a love hate relationship with this yard. Sometimes I leave feeling like the value is great and other times I leave feeling ripped off. Not very consistent. I’m pulling parts from this yard 2 to 3 times a month and my experience varies. I see the efforts they’re making to improve the appearance but only worries me that they’ll be more stingy nitpicking prices on parts

It’s a good junk yard. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR CLOSE TOE SHOES, or else they won’t let you go back to the junk yard! . I just dislike the fact they don’t refund your money Back when it’s the wrong part for your car. But overall they have good customer service skills ....

They should post that you can’t wear sandals on the website. Just drove 20 min to go through this wrecking yard. I obviously am not working on a car, just wanted to walk through with my son to see if they had a rim for his Jetta. All us women were stuck sitting in our cars. It’s the middle of July. Everyone had on sandals. I can’t rate how the actual yard was because I couldn’t go in. After reading all the other comments sounds like I’m not missing much. Very frustrated!!

Incredibly unprofessional, I called to inquire about selling my old vehicle and the guy hung up on me twice. He answered the phone I said why I was calling and without saying another word he hung up, twice! I thought the first time might be an accident but nope the guy did the same thing the next time. Never ever ever going to support such a terrible business again even though Ive picked parts from here a time or two.

I called and asked if they had a 2000 Taurus. They mentioned that they had a couple then I drive a half an hour plus, get there and they have one 2003 which parts dont cross over. And I get attitude from some kid behind the desk trying to get me to give him a dollar to go in the yard to see a car I know doesnt cross over and Im not even a mechanic.

They keep their website updated with what vehicles they have on hand, which is super helpful and saves a lot of time. Prices are reasonable, and Ive already found lots of great parts to help keep my old car running. Quite the treasure trove, as long as your car is a bit older.

If you ever consider to sel your car to a Junk Yard.PLEASE, PLEASE. GO to a different direction. This place has the most unfair and not keeping their word people. I had the worst experience evet.I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place. You might get less money but happy to let your car go.

Best place 2 get parts

Had a decent experience finding the part I needed, but the cashier doubled his original quote at the register with poor reasoning. Still got the part at a decent price, it just really annoyed me that he doubled it because he claimed it was 2 pieces instead of one, even though the part could not be separated into 2 pieces without breaking it.

Frightening exterior, difficult to get to being that it is essentially under the overpass of Geneva. But good deals made inside with reasonable humans running. Cant complain!

Do not honor their opening and closing times. Showed up 20 minutes before 6:00, the closing time of their summer hours. Employing acknowledged I was there and wouldnt let me in. Not recommended. Businesses that cant be professional about something so basic and simple shouldnt be in business.
