Im the fleet manager where I work, we have been taking our fleet to Eds for 7-8 years. Their work, ethic, and integrity is definitely top notch! Its weird to say when talking about a mechanic, but they absolutely can be trusted. they wont over charge you or do un-necessary work and charge you for it. Best automotive repair shop in Utah county!!! We have been taking our vehicle to Ed’s Automotive for a couple years now and Ive always felt that they do the best work. They are honest and professional and have always worked with my crazy mom schedule.

I am so beyond upset. I brought is my car, they check it out, said it was fine. Charged me $70 to fix the fender liner. I came back because the car was still making some sounds. They double checked it. He even said my breaks and rotors were fine and don’t need to be changed. Now my husband and I are stuck in California with breaks worn down to the pad and my rotors are ruined! I tried giving them a second chance. I wish I took my car somewhere else.

Ed’s is fast and professional. I have taken two of my cars to them to get new brakes and both times I had my car back within 24 hours after I called them. Very friendly and good customer service too. They don’t try to sell you extra garbage you don’t need and don’t try to fix other things that aren’t broken to run the cost up. They get the job done quick and they do it well.

We LOVE Ed’s. Such a great mechanic and his team is amazing. They are so honest, helpful and friendly. They tell you exactly what is wrong with your car and their honest opinion of whether it really needs to be fixed or not. They’ll also give you a fair price. I took my truck in for a leaking differential gasket. When I got it back it was still dripping. I took it back and whatever the issue was, Ed had it resealed, topped the fluid, and included a new refill bold since the old one was rounding off. No one likes to have to go back, but in an industry where you want someone honest, he sure is that. Great customer relations!

I have brought my lexus into Eds shop every time there was a problem. My car is slammed to the ground on lowering springs and my concern was they wouldnt be able to get it in without scrapping the bottom, but they got it in just fine every time!! Weve been going to Eds for ten years, and have never been disappointed. They provide excellent customer service, reliable work, and reasonable prices. My experience at Ed’s has been above and beyond anything I ever expected. I had the dealership check out an emissions issue with my SUV and quoted me $1,500 to replace all of the fuel injectors. I took it to Ed’s and for $200 he fixed the issue I was having. Not only that but he took 15 minutes out of his day to explain in detail the issue I was having so that I would be better informed in the future.I feel like I was treated like family and that’s not something you usually come across in an auto repair shop. He could have easily made quick money off of me by quoting a few hundred dollars less that the dealership, but instead saved me $1300 and whole lot of stress.I found this place off of Google Reviews and wanted to pay it forward to other people who are in the same position that need a good and honest mechanic. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Ed and his team are a great group of hardworking, honest mechanics. They were always very helpful. Ed in particular is upfront with what it takes to nurse your older vehicles along, saying what absolutely needs to be fixed and what can wait a little longer. Its also not uncommon for him to go above and beyond. For all that, the prices are reasonable as well.Ive moved out of state, but should I ever return to Utah County, Id bring my personal vehicles to him for my service needs. If I had anything bad to say about them, its because they are so good that it sometimes takes a few days to get in to see them when you have an issue.

Our 2007 Accent was giving poor gas mileage (22 mpg from what used to be 32 mpg) for over two years. Eds agreed with the dealers findings that there wasnt anything major wrong with the car, but they offered to put in something called SEA FOAM (Fuel System Cleaner). This solved the problem immediately the gas mileage increased back to 30 mpg (mostly city driving). They also replaced a power window switch for us. Both jobs were done quickly and professionally. Great place!

My car quit running while I was on the freeway. Lucky for me I was able to exit and Ed’s shop happened to be right on the corner. I pulled in right as they were getting ready to close fir the day. The Lady that was working in the office was very kind and accommodating and Ed was nice enuf to take the time to run a quick diagnostic test and look over my car and assure me I would be safe to make it another 100 miles home. ( at no charge) No one at the shop seemed bothered at all that I was keeping them past quitting time. Excellent customer service.. I trust Ed with my life -- which we actually are doing when someone fixes our vehicles. .He has been my auto guy for about 20 years. He has never pushed me for repairs I dont need (a famous trait of chain repair places ). He has looked for the best prices on parts for me.I had a car whose transmission was dieing, and the cost of even a rebuilt one was more than the car value. Then the windows fell into the door and wouldnt roll up. He didnt feel good to have me spend money on putting a $250 new part into a limited life car, so he tinkered with it (duct tape?, bailing wire?, paper clips?). He said he didnt know how long it would last, but he got it working. It lasted a year; the car lasted about 1 1/2 years.Eds is an honest and skilled car repair place. You can trust him with your car, and therefore with your life.

Ed is my mechanic. Ive been fixing cars my whole life, so I have a general distrust of repair shops (overpriced, shoddy work), but I trust Eds. Hes fixed my car for years now. Hes honest, suggests the best course of action (fix what needs fixing but let you know if something can go a little longer), gets it done right and fast. Had a ford van that popped a spark plug. He knew the issue when I first described what happened and they use a part machined from Cleggs next door to make the repair better than factory. Reasonable prices too. This is also an unsolicited review (unlike some places that give discounts for good reviews).

Eds Auto is incredible. PLEASE READ: I have gone back multiple times now and have nothing but good things to say about this place. I bought my first car on KSL, and was unsure about the mechanics. I took it to Jiffy Lube to get the safety and emissions done, and they came back to me with a list of things wrong with my car, and told me that I needed to get them done ASAP. I wanted a second opinion, and happened to stumble upon Eds Auto. First of all, every single person on their staff is so nice. I was greeted by Tony, and just asked him if he had a second to look at my car. He told me a few things that he saw, WITH NO PRESSURE TO BUY THEIR SERVICES and then continued to put on my new license plates FOR FREE. I walked out of there not paying a dime, and I knew exactly what my car needed. I came back to get my transmission fluids flushed. Ed then inspected my car more in-depth. He made me a list of 4 things that were necessary for the maintenance of my car, and they were also listed according to their priority. I go in every two weeks and knock something off that list. Not only is he thorough, but he genuinely cares about each and every customer. My car is in tip top shape. I now live in Salt Lake, but will drive all the way down to Provo just for his services. He was so nice to me that on my third time back, he discounted the price of my power steering flush just because. I cannot rant enough about Eds. I recommend it to EVERYONE.

I just realized this is under my roommates name and dont feel like changing it. My name is Jessen, I recently left a bad review on here and am now revising it. Not many businesses can get a changed review unless they have excellent customer service, which you will find at Eds Auto. I previously had quite a few repairs done on my 93 Integra at Eds. After the repairs my clutch that had been replaced felt off. I took it back and he adjusted it for me, letting me know to contact him if I had any further issues. I also noticed that my new timing belt was whining really loudly. Then when I had some free time to do some distributor work, I noticed my TPS was broken. I am a busy guy which doesnt help for my stress level, so when I saw my TPS was broken I left a bad review in a state of annoyance. The next day Ed got ahold of me concerned about what was wrong and wanting to know what he could do. Within a day we worked things out and I brought my car back to him. He offered to reimburse me for the TPS that i had purchased and instal it for free, loosen tension on my timing belt, and lube up my clutch (which so far has worked amazing, much smoother). I declined the reimbursement because I was thankful enough that he had put so much effort into making sure I was satisfied. When i got the call that my car was finished he also let me know that he had also adjusted my valves to stop the valve lash that was happening. Seriously went above and beyond. Would not even accept my offer to pay the labor for it. The timing belt doesnt whine anymore and she sounds and feels great on the road. The entire time working with Ed and Tony occasionally, I have always felt valued and respected. You can tell Ed cares a great deal about the company and his customers. I should have contacted Ed before leaving a bad review, because I know he would have done what he did for me with or without a review. While I live in Utah Valley my car will most likely go to Eds for any repairs I cant do on my own. Thanks again Ed for taking care of me.
