UPDATE: after leaving this review western heating and air reached out again and got someone over that evening. Taylor, the technician who came out was amazing and we really appreciate the time he spent to diagnose the issue, then troubleshoot a solution that would work until the new part they needed came in. The system now works perfectly and they proved they are willing to uphold their warranties in both service and quality.Last year (May 2020) we paid Western Heating and Air $10,293 for a new furnace, AC, and water heater and one year later (June 2021) the air conditioner has died. We called today (Monday) to get someone out right away because it is record heat this week and they said earliest they could come out is Thursday if we are on their urgent list. I asked if this was a list of their current customers who are having issues with equipment installed in the last year, because although that would be a poor reflection of their business quality, it would be understandable having to wait. Nope. New prospective clients are priority #1. once they have your money, you go to the bottom of their list. The only thing they offered was to tell me to turn the unit off completely and wait until Thursday in 95 degree heat.Here is a list of “guarantees” on their invoice. I love to write great reviews about a great company. Brady was very patient, helpful and professional.He explained all the options for our particular situation and helped us to make an informed decision.He was very willing to make it right in regards to workmanship, product and service.

A+ job on installing a new heating a duct system in our cabin, where we needed a first-rate system. (It gets really cold!) Worked with these guys for a while and theyve done great work each time.

We called at 7pm on a Saturday and were told that the on call technician would definitely be able to help us that night. We were told to wait for the technician to contact us. So we waited and didnt try any other companies. After an hour of waiting we called back and were told that we should keep waiting, the technician would contact us. We waited another hour and called back and were told that they didnt know what happened because they had sent the message to the technician on call. We never heard back from them. So not only did they not help us but we didnt call anyone else because we were told to wait.

My experience with Western Heating & Air Conditioning was an excellent one. When my air conditioner went out on the hottest day of summer, I called WHAC and they had someone here to look at it that evening. Four days later I had a new ac installed. The technician was professional and nice!

They installed a mini-split heat pump/AC unit for my office, and Im in heaven! Used to be the hottest room in the house, now I have complete control. Installers were professional, efficient, and did great work.

Taylor was such a great technician. He was on time and was very knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of the questions I had about maintaining my units. He provided me with material on the things he suggested and never once pressured me to buy anything extra from them. I will be doing all of my maintenance with them to keep my units functioning their best!

They just didnt bother to show up for my appointment. When I called they told me that my appointment was canceled, even though I was very clear via text that I was interested in the day and time. When I got upset I said forget it Ill find someone else to do it the receptionist said Have a nice day

We loved our experience with Western. The estimator Sharee was great in explains everything and answering our questions. The technician Wayne was great and was even able to come early, which was awesome. They took great care of us and were prompt to answer additional questions we had after the initial estimate. The whole experience with Western was great! We scheduled an appointment at our home renovation project on Friday. Clint was here and had all the answers and options for relocating some heating vents, dryer vents and bathroom vents that afternoon. He gave us the up front costs for those services. He didnt try to sell us any other services or products or work us with some kind of limited time deal.By Monday morning a full crew showed up with everything needed to do the job. Tracy was the lead and made us feel comfortable with our decision to go with Western. I used this company last year and they were great charge $45 to put a drill in our AC unit and got the fan going. This time was the same problem took him 5 minutes to do what happened last time but charged $200… disappointing because I thought I found a good company to use forever.

HUGE shoutout to Tyler Bennet for squeezing me in before the long holiday weekend and doing a thorough test on my 20 year old system. Your recommendation to replace the furnace at this point made a ton of sense as the motor was dead and the corrosion you showed me on the circuit board would’ve had me calling you out again sooner than later. Tyler let Chance Amador know we were ready to replace the furnace and not only did Chance show up that same day to get me scheduled but he tracked down two portable AC units to get us through the holiday weekend without roasting. With the heat advisory this was a HUGE life saver. By the way, I received a text letting me know when each tech was on their way to my home and an email with a picture of who would be coming. Each invoice/quote was received by me via email before each tech even departed! On the day of the install, Hunter Behling and Easton showed up on time, set down a drop cloth to prevent carpet stains, wore boot covers, cleaned up completely after themselves and finished the install 2 hours earlier than projected. From the get-go these guys were a cut above the rest. Worth it 100%.

We had Taylor come out for our annual maintenance on A/C. He did a great job and gave us a lot of information concerning our a/c unit. It is getting old but he didnt push for buying new. He just gave us the information without a sales pitch. I.Hate.a.sales.pitch! We have had their maintenance plan for quite a few years and I believe that is why our A/C and furnace are still going strong after 23+ years.

I had Taylor and Adam come tune-up my HVAC system recently and they were awesome. My system is only 5 years old; I had just moved in to the home and decided to get a standard tune-up service and I am so glad I did! The system was overheating and cycling and I would have had a very hard time heating this winter had they not caught and fixed the issue. My furnace is in a dirty crawlspace and these guys were crawling around on the dirt for a good hour plus and were in good spirits despite that. Western also had amazing customer service before and after their arrival. Highly recommend!

Winter season is coming and I’ve had a loud whining noise coming from my furnace the previous year. I’m a new homeowner and don’t know much about furnace and keeping up with it so I called Western set up an appointment and had a technician come within a few hours to take a look at my furnace for a maintenance. Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable about his work he was able to help me figure out were the noise was coming from and also gave me some tips on keeping my furnace clean and taken care of. Very professional and for a reasonable price they don’t push you to get work done on your system but they’ll be honest with what you may need if you decide to get it done. It looks like I may need a new inducer motor which I’ll definitely call Western again to get it taken care of!

We scheduled a tune up for our furnace. Ian and Robert were helpful and did a thorough job of checking out unit. They were professional and explained things so I felt like I knew what was going on. They also took the time to recommend services that Western offers to help make my home more efficient. They weren’t pushy about it, which as a customer I really appreciated. The services they explained about are things I plan to discuss with my husband about. Our last technician that came to our house to fix our Heater and he said that we needed to clean our vents and he wanted to charge us 3,000 to clean them, and we said no so he disconnected some wires from our Ac without us knowing and he said it was going to go bad soon that he was going to want to fix it, so i do not recommend this company, wish i knew the name of the technician

This two year old $8000 heater/air conditioner should not require a repair so soon, and the cost for a simple repair was excessive. The unit that was replaced was over 20 years old and ran without repair or maintenance for that entire time.MODIFIED REVIEW: The repairman fixed the problem quickly and efficiently by cleaning the culprit so I didnt have to buy a new part ($100) and they didnt charge me the weekend rate so only paid the standard service call rate. Much happier now.

Our AC went out sometime late Saturday / early Sunday morning. Called around 8 am on Sunday, and had a technician ( Adam ) out by 11 am. Quickly diagnosed a bad capacitor and had it back up and running by ~11:30.Adam was great. Easy to talk to, explained the issue well, and was very quick on working on the system.Be prepared for a premium price for premium service on a weekend, but with the heat wave it was worth it.

Brody arrived on time and did a thorough job going through components of both furnaces. He explained his findings to me and did a great job making sure I understood. I’ve used this company before and would recommend them.

Wesley just came out for our issue with our AC and he was phenomenal. Seriously some of the best customer service I have experienced in quite some time. He was knowledgeable and helpful in fixing the problem quickly and precisely. We have been without air conditioning in the heat wave for the last three days and called a few companies and decided to go with Western Heating & Air because they could get out to us days earlier than any other company. I’ve called several different local AC companies and Western was the only one to come out and fix the issue. The other companies either didn’t show or were price gouging. They not only booked the day I called but rescheduled for an earlier time same day. They fixed the problem. The price was very affordable. AC unit is working better than ever. Thank you 🙏

They were fast but......they did the repair before giving me an estimate. I asked twice and they said they needed to go to the truck to figure it out. Instead of a quote they just fixed it while I went inside. They replaced my capacitor for $380. The part was $100 online and it took about an hour from start to finish. I probably was overcharged and it was definitely deceptive. 3 stars for being quick and fixing it right. They lose 2 stars for lack of honesty.

I was very happy with my scheduled annual Spring MSC visit and A/C check up today. Jeff did a very complete and through inspection of my system both inside the house and outside. That included all the necessary checks and ended up cleaning the evaporator coil with cleaner for the first time in the 13 years since new and made recommended things to look for in the future. He also set the thermostat with the correct times I requested.

That’s about $300 labor?The tech offered me a tune up kit which already included the contactor for $307, better deal but still...Overpriced parts, next time I will just pay THE $49 service call and do the work my self or find someone with a lower price to install one.UPDATE:Western reached out to me right away after my 2 star review (Kudos) and explained that the rest of the quoted price was overhead, operating cost, etc, which made perfect sense. My initial experience with Western was actually great. Their pricing is reasonable, technicians are friendly, and they responded quickly to a few various issues over the years.Unfortunately, the furnace I bought 2 years ago from them (also installed by Western) hasn’t worked consistently: has shut off, blown cold air, etc...Western has come out multiple times. Different diagnosis every time and another fee. Discounted, sure, but very frustrating.Staff is friendly, which has encouraged me to keep trying with them, but overall been a surprisingly rough experience.I would use them for quick fixes, but not bigger projects.

We have been using Western heating and air for our own house and a rental property we own for a couple of years now. They are always kind professional and knowledgeable. they give you smaller service windows than most other companies and are usually there at the beginning of the window they give you. Especially with a rental property they are very easy to work with playing the middleman between the tenant and myself. We are even a part of their monument club which does routine maintenance. I think that saves us a lot of time and money in the long run. Keep up the great work!

When my furnace stopped working, it was easy to get a technician scheduled to come out that day. Joe was prompt and efficient. He explained to me the possible problems before starting and quickly diagnosed the issue. He also talked to me about some other issues that could be affecting the efficiency and that could fail because the furnace is older, but there was absolutely no pressure to do any more than the minimum required. The price for the repair seemed reasonable.

It started in the office with Heather. She was very courteous and helpful through the process of getting my appointment for my heater. Was in the process of putting me on a list for cancellations, in case an earlier than Monday came up. While she was doing that, one for today cane up, I’d called Tuesday. Thank you so much Heather!!Next was the repairman Adam! He replaced the motherboard last year, was very pleased with his work. So I was elated that I was getting him today. He is a very sweet & respectful young man, as well as, knowledgeable. He let me know after a bit what the problem was and how he could fix it. Also, the cost involved; so there’s never surprises with him.He leaves the work area as clean as he finds it, which is greatly appreciated. We have been in our house for about a year and our dryer hasnt been able to dry our clothes since we arrived. We reached out to Western Heating & Air and they were out to our place within in a week and did a thorough cleaning of our dryer vent. My AC went completely out. I called a couple and Western had appointment same day. They let me know by text that the technicians were driving to my house. After telling them about what was happening, Jeff found the problem in 1 minute. They had it up and running in no time. I also told them my AC hasnt been keeping up. They tested my air flow and determined that I am not getting enough air input. I had another company out that couldnt tell me the problem and charged way more. They also pointed out other things that the other company never even mentioned. Joe told me exactly what I need to do to get things more comfortable. 100% would recommend that you call them. They also covered their shoes without me saying anything. I am having them give me a quote because my ac is ~15 years old.

I could not be happier! My heater decided to stop working last night and in this record breaking cold it was not fun to wake up to a cold house. I called and although they were scheduled out two days Bre was able to squeeze me in today. Jeff came on time and was very friendly and professional. It was a simple fix and he did not try to do things that was not necessary. He explained things in a way I could understand and let me know what things may be needed in the future and how I can get it done at a cheaper rate to save me money. I had my a/c unit tuned every Spring and it looks like the previous company missed several key items which caused one of my a/c units to stop working. John fixed the issue, but then had other items to make our 2 units last longer since they were older units.**Im so impressed that I signed up on their biannual tune up for a/c and furnaces! Fantastic experience!

Contracted this company before and were very impressed so we are back again. Very happy with their professionalism and service.

Ian and Kevin did a great job installing our furnace, A/C and humidifier. They were both friendly and kind enough to explain what they were doing each time Id check in. Ians cable management skills were top-notch and my utility room looks much more organized than it did before. Extra points for coming out on the snowiest day of the year without complaint.

Western provided solid service. Prompt and professional techs. Only negative was the AC was undersized. That said, the owner called me personally and upgraded the unit immediately. All in all, it was a positive experience, and I would recommend Western Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone.

I did not get a receipt upon the end of service AGAIN! When I went to my basement, the service man did not put on any AC tape so all the air was blowing out of the furnace. This happened last year too! I was not given any paperwork about the numbers he calculated of what was going on with my AC, let alone what needed to be done, other than a tune up AND after I paid $129, I was told the tune up did wonders and helped with those numbers I showed you earlier! Yet I was not shown any new numbers! When I have called, I tell you that your company is the one that put in my AC and I am told We dont have records of that! I find that SO funny and irritating, because I have ALL of the documentation, including the sales associates business card and its been NINE YEARS!!! I find it hard to understand how you can stay in business treating your customers this way, not giving receipts for services rendered, not keeping records of installations of AC units, not giving updated information after doing a tune up, your service men not sending the pictures and documentation they promise after leaving someones home! Even when my AC unit was put in, you consistently told me that I was not allowed to get a rebate. However, I did the research on my own and showed to your company and the owner that I was allowed a rebate. I was then told because of what I showed you, the owner was having the sales associate go around to all of their customers and apologize and helping them get their rebate! I just dont get it! Why does the customer have to do all the work for your company and still pay the high prices?? I think its time that the BBB is contacted to help you become a better company!

Jeff was very knowledgeable and polite. He explained everything he was doing and the results he found. I would recommend his services to everyone.

WH&AC replaced my furnace and installed a new AC unit. They did it promptly and well. Everyone from there was positive and friendly and very helpful. The price was very reasonable and the quality of the work is great. I had an excellent experience with this company.

This place is awesome. I called Any Hour Services first and they quoted me $59 for the consultation I needed, but Western Heating & Air did the exact same consultation for free! My technician, Clint, was very helpful and knowledgeable and he was able to answer questions I had about how to improve the temperature in my corner bedroom. It took about ten minutes and we were done. I’m so happy I went with them instead of Any Hour!
