I got the motor and clutch replaced on my 06 Mazda 3. Everybody at the shop was very respectful and informative on what was going on with my car. Overall they kept me updated pretty much every step of the way, and the whole process took about 6 business days. Not to mention the prices seemed very reasonable. Very satisfied with their work.

Great place people very helpful and honesty

Took my old lexus SUV here for work on the breaks and hubs. Some stuff went wrong shortly after the work was done. I took it back and they said there was an issue with how they did the work and fixed it at no additional cost. Done.Perfection is not expected, but honestly and integrity are. I first decided to use Japan Auto Care because they helped me even when it meant no income to them. I had a question about a dealers response regarding warranty work on new car. Japan Auto Care provided information that saved me over $1500 when negotiating with dealer. They didnt know me or have anything to gain, but took the time to provide honest and clear information.I am now using them to service my vehicles and appreciate their honesty and quick response.

I made an appointment to replace my serpentine belt (186k miles on it!) and they got me in and out very quickly. I appreciated that the tech took the time to show me the difference between the new belt and the old belt. Would return for other services.

Knowledgeable staff that does good work and will do it right. Seem straight up with the customer. I have taken my Infiniti G37S Coupe in for a couple of issues now and came away with a quality fix done in a reasonable time. I would recommend and will keep using them as the primary shop for my Japanese vehicles.

When I tell you a business goes above and beyond, you can take it to the bank, Im not just talking about a cup of coffee. Michelle on the phone and at the front desk was friendly and professional. I was able to get a ballpark estimate over the phone, make an appointment that met my schedule, was offered a ride to and from the shop, and the repair was done promptly, on estimate, and without any pressure or up-selling. Jack even met me on the bicycle trail, put my bike in the back of his truck, then made sure I put it in a safe place while I was picking up my car. Thats service.My old Honda is my second vehicle next to my bicycle, and Jack and his team will help me get a few more miles out of it.

Brought in my Toyota Corolla for an oil-change, tire rotation, and to get a weird noise checked out. Turns out the water pump was going bad, but my family had bigger problems- after I was dropped off from the shop, the familys only other car overheated! We were essentially car-less. When the folks at Japan Auto Care found out they worked hard and finished the repairs the next day! Incredible, thoughtful service, would recommend to friends and family- they already have my business!

I dont often write bad reviews. I took my 2013 Honda Pilot in for brake pad replacement about a month ago. The disks were fine - no problem - no need to replace. 2 weeks later, I drove my car up to El Dorado Hills. As I was coming down the hill, my brakes started squealing and the whole car was shook. I called the repair shop and they said they would look at it. Yesterday, they looked at it. 1st - it took them 4 hours to get to it after making an appointment for 8 am. Then they told me that my front disks needed replaced bc they were warped from my driving practices. Im calling BS on that. They likely put the wrong size pad on and the disks overheated on the way home from El Dorado Hills. I drive to Reno several times a year and have never had this issue. Japan Auto Care also wanted to charge me $440 for the front disks to be replaced. I called over to another shop and the whole job was done for $200.It is too bad that they didnt honor their work and then wanted to charge me double to fix their mistake.Not trustworthy

Everything was great, from start to finish! I even got a friendly ride home. I would highly recommend Japan Auto Care.
