You know what I appreciate about this business? Their integrity. Ive been having some very specific brake issues and the owner took a lot of time and staff time to figure it out. Unfortunately, I must take my car to the dealer as it is very specific to a Lexus. Believe it or not, he did not charge us a penny because he could not address the issue. Although to be fair to him he gave us a good idea of what the problem is. I highly recommend Brake Masters. They were quick and thorough. If I have any future brake problems, I will go to them again.

Took my car in because Ive been hearing screeching from my brakes. They checked it and saw that my brakes were fine so they cleaned them and sent me on my way at no charge. This place has undoubtedly earned my continued business for when its time to take a car in.

After a rather horrible customer service experience at the Brake Masters at Sunrise and Greenback, where the counter staff spent as much time telling me why they COULDNT top off my fluids than it would have taken to do it, I went to Store #133 in Orangevale where I got my last service and within five minutes Michael at the front counter had my fluids checked for me and I was on the road! Michael, Brian and Sean at store 133 are the best! Drive an extra mile or two if you need to, but go see them!!

This specific location is AWESOME! The front counter gentleman is either named Michael or Mica and he is consistently polite, helpful, and is a genuine pleasure. The Citrus Heights location could learn a lot from the Orangevale location. The Citrus Heights location is walkable for me when I drop off my car, and thus much more convenient for me as a location. Unfortunately, the Citrus Heights location is a “Training location.” The lack of common decent skill sets in customer service are void and non existent on many occasions. The familiar faces that stayed there as new training people would come and go are no longer there and customer service for even routine request of auto service is just horrible. The expression on their faces when you walk-in is a very clear, “Oh God, what are you gonna want? I’m so busy already.” That is the unspoken message this location sends to everyone walking in. How would I know? I have sat and waited for my services to be completed and I watch a parade of people walk-in and get the same cold process. The is rarely in acknowledgement. No one looks up from the counter. I had four services recommended another mechanic said I absolutely do not need!! This location needs dire intervention from management.

There were problems with my service...but I have to say they stepped up and took responsibility and corrected the issues. The manager Michael knows how to please his customers. Outstanding customer service !!

This place is amazing. I went to get my car serviced at Folsom Lake Toyota, and they informed me that my rear brakes needed to be replaced asap.The Toyota dealership quoted me just under 300 bucks, not something I can afford...So I called Brake Masters! Best decision ever.They got my rear brakes replaced for $116, and were able to do it the same day.They were really helpful, communicative, and did good work. The best part was the price.If you need brake work done, give them a call. You wont regret it!

Just got a lube & oil and had a broken rear engine mount replaced. Great service. Very happy walking out the door. Michael Kolbe, the Manager, was extremely detailed in explaining my engine mount issue & pointed out that I needed new tires, even though his shop didnt do such work. Also, when I picked up my finished vehicle, Michael showed me the broken part and explained its function. Ill definitely be using his shop for my next needed service.

Brake Master in Orangevale was truly amazing. I was quoted about $400 more at a different company in Orangevale. Brake Master was able to fix my issue sooner than any other company in the area. They were extremely friendly and didnt waste my time. I will be returning to them for all my future oil changes and brake needs.

I have been going to Brake Masters on Greenback for over two years now. They have always provided fast service, and are very well priced. They use valvoline oil, and have the best priced oil change I can find. In addition to providing high quality service, they are also honest when it comes to repairs. I prefer this shop over others.

Ive used this Brake Masters location for over 5 years and there is no question they have been the most helpful and honest repair shop that Ive visited. Ive used them for regular oil changes and for new brakes and everything in between. They are honest and straight forward. They explain what they plan to do and why. Their customer service has been excellent in every way including helping me to get to where I needed to go while my car was being worked on.

I came in last Saturday to get an oil change and the Store Manager, Sean Chandra assisted me. Sean was very professional throughout the entire process and even informed me that my front tire threads were looking a bit worn and needed some attention soon. Brake Masters does not sell tires, but I appreciate Sean and the shop he runs as they are honest with their customers and provide great service and thats what keeps me coming back. They do not recommend services that are unnecessary for your vehicle…hence the name “The Honest Brake”.

So I have never done business with any brake masters before, but my in-laws swore by them. So I figured why not. I took them my family car and had the front brake rotors turned and new pads installed.I then noticed within three days the brakes began to squeak allot, even with barely breaking. I took the vehicle back and was told the rotors were just dirty due to hard breaking.The vehicle has not been exposed to hard breaking so Im not sure what that was about.I then got the vehicle back and the squeaking was gone for about 4 days, then it came back. The squeaking til this day continues when I barely break, and am going down hill and feathering the break pedal.I have had the brakes done on this vehicle before by another shop and never had this issue. I dont know what to do.

The worse experience ever!!! I returned my 99 4runner after 6 months and they told me that the put the wrong pads on. They put 4 wheel drive pads on instead of 2 wheel. I knew my rear seals were leaking in the back, so I told them to go head and fix that and replace the drums and shoes. It took them 4 hours longer then they said it would take them. When it was finally ready I go to pick it up, pay, and drive off. I make it to Walnut ave (about a half block away) and try to brake at a red light and it my 4runner wont stop. I had to pull the e brake to stop. I pull over and looked at the recent to realize that they over charged me what they had told me. I call them and the guy was really rude. He said it was because my brake master cylinder was bad. I told him he should of told me that I couldnt stop at all before I left. I took the back roads home and had my buddy take me to pick up a master cylinder. I installed it myself and the system worked fine. Long story short, dont go there.

This is place has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!! FIVE return trips now, for my supposed lifetime warranty, front and back, new calipers in front. Still squealing and clicking RF, and now I find out from two master mechanics, the parts are garbage, and we would never use them. Overpriced, no pride of workmanship, sub-par parts. Need I say more? Go to an independent mechanic or your brand dealership. Maybe more $, but worth avoiding Brake Masters!

Came to get a Oil change on my lunch break and was even able to use a coupon for a discounted price. The customer service was Superb. Not pushy when suggesting I needed to get certain things fixed and looked at. Was done in about 30mins!$32 for an Oil Change! My Kia is Running good. Ill be back for the wheel-bearings!

These folks have passed up several opportunities to charge me a lot of money to fix something by offering me a cheaper alternative; theyve also given me free estimates of a repair price, and looked at a problem to tell me what was wrong and didnt charge me for that!Their estimates are usually within a few bucks when theyre done, and theyve usually done work for less than I expected. And they do everything but tires. I wish theyd get into the tire business!

Horrible service. They stripped my oil pan plug threads and now I need my oil pan replaced because its leaking oil. No apology, just bad attitude for the inconvenience I seemed to have brought them. Don’t ever go here. Other brake masters are good but not this one.

Took my car here to get my brakes done with the pads and rotors that I supplied, after driving home I heard a loud squeaking noise, continued to drive it for about a day and then took it back in to brakemasters which they told me that the pads will squeak until they are broken in and its normal. as time went on it got louder and louder so I took it to a different shop from which they told me the brake pads Hardware was installed incorrectly and it was a subpar inferior work that a shop should never do. I dont know how this places in business or even how their mechanic stay employed. Never will I be back and I hope some of you read this and choose not to go here and give this place your money.
